    Watching the video now, but just wanted to thank you guys for sharing so much knowledge with all of us. Its particularly useful for me because my swing is eerily similar to Matty's. Stuck on am island in the middle of the Pacific, we have no club fitters here. Hoping to teach myself so I can help the golfing community here. Stay safe and thank you again! Cheers from Guam 🇬🇺

    Absolutely love the reviews you guys do. I’m possibly addicted to your channel. My only complaint is that I might be running low on videos to watch 😂. Although I have no problem rewatching videos from TXG.
    Also I want to thank you guys for getting me prepared for my fitting I recently had and giving me some questions to ask and things to think about. I felt confident going in to the fitting and walked out with some great irons and wedges. Next is to get fit for woods and I have no doubts I’ll get the best experience because of you guys!

    I bought this shaft for my hybrid and my friends or dad didn’t believe what I gained (I’m a lower ball flight player)
    I had a basic shaft in my 2 hybrid up front. Carried like 205-210 max
    Now it Carrie’s 225-230 and rolls out (on lay ups or off a tee around 240
    My friends have since bought the shaft after fitted proper lol!
    Same thing happened when I bought this same shaft (driver one for my driver) I gained about 12-15 yards of carry distance and some roll.
    Same for 3 wood/5 wood. (I switch my 2 hybrid/5 wood out)
    But people didn’t believe me they legit had to see it to believe it. Definitely for a driving iron or hybrid at $200 worth every penny (I’d fit correctly of course)
    I like what you said about a slightly shorter shaft bc I had the same experience mines .75 shorter than my older shaft and I hit it higher and longer.

    I have Ventus Blue 6x (driver) and 7x (fairways) and absolutely love them. They are very low launching, and the feel is great, but mostly in its smoothness and kick, less so in the tip (because it's so low torque). But overall just a very stable shaft but with a nice smooth feeling. I might worry about the Black being too boardy but the Blue is perfect for me.

    Even with a mid 88 mph 7 iron swing, I loved my 6.5 Rifles in my old blades and I loved demoing a KBS C-Taper X when I bought my 919 Mizunos - it's the hockey player / tennis player loader in me I guess. I'm also using a 94 gram Tensei White TX shaft in my Mizuno CLK 16 Hybrid - and if I was building a driving iron, I would put the Ventus Black in it without even trying it looking at that flight Matt got - it is exactly the bullet type of flight that everyone who hits s driving iron wants

    What I think would also be super interesting is to see how Matty plays his course making the conservative play off the tee often, i.e. using the driving iron and keeping the driver in the bag, vs how he'd play it using a system like DECADE. Obviously would need a decent sample size with each to draw any real conclusions but I think it'd be cool to see. Maybe a collab with Scott Fawcett in an Instructor Series video as well.

    Time for a followup vid on this please. What you have found works best in utilities vs hybrids etc. Thinking t200 2 iron with the ventus blue hyb be a nice combo. Be interesting to know if shaft plays stiffer when in driving irons etc. How you have fit weight etc. Your recommendations etc given may be hard to test the different options so many may be buying blind.

      @clintsanderson6019 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely breezy/windy at times. Played the into the wind holes perfectly with club selection/flighting shots. Middle iron and long irons down wind were predictable, but downwind wedge was WELL short (again). This has been ongoing and I cant wrap my brain around which is the right club/flight for this scenario. (I had 7 birdies on the round, but missing the green from 110 with my favorite club is unacceptable)

    Ventus question...I recently purchased a 3 wood with a ventus blue shaft, priced at $299. Obviously if a shaft retails for $350, this is not the shaft in my 3 wood. Even though it is a Fujikura Ventus shaft logoed, the only thing missing is the Velacore label towards the tip of the shaft. My question is "what Fujikura shaft do I have in my 3 wood?" Ventus without Velacore? or what? Thanks.
