    I need to replace my solenoid pack on my 03 chrysler concorde. Are you saying that I technically wouldn't have to undo the wire connector nor the arm you took off at the beginning.

      You dont have to if you removed all the screws and dont mind putting the check balls back in after they fall out. You do have to if you removed the whole assembly and only removing the regular screws...not the torx.

    Is there any tricks to get the shifter to move the L1. I can't get the thing to move at all. Or if I decided to remove all the bolts including the torx bolts will I still have to move the shifter into L1 gear.

    getting ready to do this on my 03 concorde. question on the shifter...how do you tell you have it in L1? is there something visible or markings or something? thx

      L1 should be all the way down on the shifter 1st gear. It just allows you to pull out of shift solenoid assembly without it getting stuck
