personally i think uryu's vosandich is all about the little bows that are flying around and in combo of his schrift, A, it is pretty damn powerful to swap places with ANY of the bows, let alone how they can possition
Uryu's vollstandig is sick af ! I love that added abilities of the arrowhead heatseeking projectiles and that he can use them to form a cage to trap his opponents! I also love seeing Ichigo use blut
That Title card speaks LOUD volumes as a manga reader lol. Also I love how each episode drops 1 clue of something important went with Yuhas face reflecting on Rio's face this is genius
This episode was absolutely peak and ichigo has used getsuga jujisho 3 times now in the anime versus the one time he only used it in the manga. I think the black and white effect when uryu was firing his arrow is gonna mean something.
I read a few comments in other yt reactors' comments where they find Uryu's volstandich is weird. Man, uryu literally always using multiple arrows , lich regen after regaining his quincy power back. Having swarm of small trinkets that shoot arrows totally the same line of his base power.
There's a throwaway line that I believe is Uryus plan. At 17: 54 in the anime, he says "I will never forgive the one who has taken everything from me." Who is he not forgiving? Mayuri? Yhwach? I'm not sure but he is going in with intention of killing one of them. Is it revenge for his master? Or is it revenge for his mother and every quincy that had been absorbed by Auswalen
This episode was really needed. Helped Ukitake looked cooler, in manga Mimihagi got absorbed almost immediately. No one believed Uryu betrayed his friends, this fight makes it plausible
I don’t think this was Uryu's true voltstanding. The others had the halo and the wings when they flew back up, and that that's not what Askin's voltstanding looks like, so we know they can use the wings without going into the full mode. So I think there’s more to Uyru's power than meets the eye.
I do think at the end of the fight when ichigo brought his blades together he was going to activate Bankai. It looks similar to the pose he took when he did it at the end of the Manga
Ishida and Ichigo weren't going all out in this battle; ichigo was holding back until the end. He held back far more than Ishida, even though Ishida could have used his Schrift from the beginning. Ishida didn’t try to kill Ichigo, which is why Haschwalth reacted differently compared to the others who witnessed the battle. Neither of them went all out-Ishida just wanted to take Ichigo out of the fight, not kill him. That was his conviction, and he held back only as much as was needed. But Ichigo wasn’t even willing to hurt Ishida in any way; he literally didn’t attack and that's the smallest Getsuga Jujisho we've seen so far, unlike Ishida, Ichigo held back completely. One thing for sure is the Animation was insanely awesome, beating my expectations.
So glad they changed it so that Ichigo overcomes Yhwach's power himself rather than it just fading once Yhwach was done with him and he did by using his own Blut Vene to force Yhwach's power out of his arm. === YES! WE FINALLY GET TO SEE URYU'S VOLLSTANDIG! Wish we got it's name though. === Uryu didn't know Ichigo was a Quincy until he saw him use Blut. === They're doing as much good for Ganju and Chad as they can considering we are now in the realms of gods, demigods and archangels. === Sternenstaub (German for Stardust) I believe the proper german spelling though would be Stärnestaub. === I find it interesting that the anime is going so much into Ichigo's unwillingness to kill when part of the purpose of Ginjo Kugo was that Ichigo was supposed to become more willing to kill if necessary. === Always nice to hear Aizen's magnificent voice. === All Hail the Almighty Soul King Yhwach.
As far as Ichigo's willingness to kill, you have to straight up mess with everyone he loves or threaten them severely in order for him to be willing to kill. The reason he kills Ginjo and goes straight for the kill against Tsukishima is because they messed with everyone he loves and royally screwed them and him. He goes for the kill with Aizen bc of the threats he makes towards the people Ichigo loves. Against Yuha and Uryu the reason is because the former looks just like one of his Zanpakuto spirits who he is emotionally attached to and the later is one of his best friends who he has been through hell with, remove those connections and he goes for the kill with both.
@@ricremricrem2221 I never considered the Zangetsu-Yhwach angle too much. I guess I figured Yhwach being the murderer of Masaki would be enough to override any confusion. As for Uryu, I never believed that Ichigo should even try and kill him though I can understand Yhwach and Uryu's irritation at Ichigo's naivety since they are in the middle of a war. Also, I wouldn't say he ever fought Aizen with the intent to kill. He was fighting Aizen out of duty (a false duty at that since he had no obligation to clean up Soul Society's messes for them beyond the friendships he had made), not a desire for vengeance. He was even called out for it during the Arrancar Saga.
@@JackWitt-g9p Aizen and Jin are the ones to call him out on it and both for the most part is just trying to mess with Ichigo so you have to take what they say with a grain of salt. When Aizen calls him out on it after Ichigo basically rips Aizen open from the left edge of his neck to his waist, saying some "that was your last chance" type shit, on any other character that would have been a kill shot how tf was Ichigo supposed to know Aizen had super regeneration at that point. Not having a desire for vengeance also doesn't mean he lacks killing intent. As per my previous example Ichigo was trying to kill Aizen with full intent and would have killed Aizen if Aizen did not have the hogyoku and regeneration.
Ok I NEED some manga spoilers because this episode has me heated and NOT in a good way. I am guessing that Ishida despite all the nonsense this episode is gonna betray the quincies. What I wanna know is WHAT is his exact motive here? Because ain't NO FREAKING WAY it justifies bringing about the doom for every world out there by helping Yhwach here whatsoever. He BETTER have a backup to uno reverse the death of soul king or something like that because no matter what his personal motivation, this has now gone WAY too far with no hope for redemption or forgiveness in universe now. I swear it BETTER not just be some mere personal revenge for the death of mother and grandfather because risking the lives of EVERYONE IN EXISTENCE for personal revenge is beyond scummy. Through his actions in this episode, Ishida Uryu has now willingly committed THE biggest sin in the existence of soul society now so he better have a DAMN good reason for it 😮
honestly with all the new changes and dialogue no idea, but probably will still betray yhwach. but I disagree with you, uryu is justified to help wipe all of them out. his people were genocided because they were killing hollows that were killing them, soul reapers deserve the worst, and this isn't even the natural world its a world that was created on the death of quincy basically
@@Yoxhio_ Utter BS. You seem to forget that isn't only impacting the soul reapers. What about the world of humans? Do they deserve to die because this brat wants to take personal revenge at the expense of THEIR lives?? What about the souls in soul society that AREN'T soul reapers?? Like 99% of the souls in rukongai who weren't privileged enough to become soul reapers? Do they deserve to perish because this selfish brat wants to take revenge at THEIR expense?? Also love how the justification here seems to be the Quincy massacre... When Uryu himself NEVER gave a damn about it all until this arc started - thats like just less than two weeks in bleach universe time and even thats a stretch. Uryu never cared about the Quincy massacre and in his first introduction in the series even stated that he could see the Shinigami's perspective because the quincy were killing the balance of the whole world and just wouldn't listen to reason. Even if you wanna say that there is a deeper truth in the massacre, the fundamental truth does not change. Uryu NEVER cared about the old quincy purge from 200 years ago. Uryu's grudge came from his grandfather's death, not the damn massacre. Also bringing up the massacre from thousand years ago is pointless because the Quincies attacked the shinigami by pulling up on their turf. The quincies came for blood and got packed up. For all his pride in being a quincy, Uryu has NO reason to be THAT invested in any of this conflict beyond revenge for his mother and grandpa. However as I stated before, that is NOT justification enough to commit an atrocity of THIS level at all.
@@flyingmalkie4346 Does not matter. Unless he has a sure fire way to make sure the death of the soul king and its ramifications are rectified, what Uryu did here is completely unjustifiable. No matter how much you want that personal revenge (which I am assuming is gonna be his core motivation), it does NOT justify dooming the entire world by your own hands just to fulfill the revenge.
Uryu was probably thinking “and this is for my arm in Hueco Mundo” while hole punching Ichigo 😅😂

Ranged Senbon zakura + flying ryjin + antithesis is op as hell
Imagine his complete Vollstandig with Antithesis
It's not a Complete Vollstanding without halo and neither is all what his transformation can do

Crazy that Ichigo used blut vene against Yhwach's to free his arm
Vene is for defence so he most likely used arterie instead

Uryu acting all tough with his discount senbonsakura and putting a hole in his friend.
