Hello, It's very interesting, but I'm not really good in Japanese :-/ Can you tell me what is the powder used at 5:17 and where it's possible to buy it ? Thank you very much for sharing !
I'm really sorry for the late reply! The powder used at 5:17 is named "Narutaki Tonoko(鳴滝砥の粉)". urushiya.ocnk.net/product/1107 ↑ It is the product on this page. These products are also used for polishing metal (rings, etc.) and for polishing cars, so I think there are similar products in your country.
So Sad that I can't read Japanese :/ Your videos are really great at explaining how to make Kintsugi. I've been trying myself on this technique for the past year, with mixed results. I've never tried polishing the end result, and I might not be using the best kind of gold power for this. Could you please tell me which kind of gold powder you use, and where do you find it? In europe, I buy my stuff to Korest Shop, but i'm planning on making an order to Watanabe Syoten With best regards :)
Thank you for contacting . I'm going to resume the English translation of TH-cam soon. Please wait a moment. The gold powder I use is "No.3 round powder(Marufun)".→in Japanese…金(gold)3号(No.3)丸粉(round powder) Maybe you can buy it at Watanabe Store.→www.urushi-watanabe.net/en/shopping/mart/findD.cgi?sort=4&word=I0247 You can buy it at Minowa Store. This shop sells a lot of Urushi products.→urushiya.ocnk.net/product/777 But wherever there is no English WebSite. I think that Minowa Store also supports English mail. Sorry if wrong.
