Fascinating art style and sound design in this game, even if it's not something I'd personally play since when I mess up I tend to panic spiral and do worse each time, the only stealth i can handle is playing a rogue in WoW 😅 Your friend who did the VO work is really good at it so hopefully you have them show up more, things like that always make videos better. Your production quality is SO good, I am always astounded how few people have managed to come across your channel...I really hope things pick up for you soon, thanks for the great videos!
Sub from me. I haven’t heard of this game but I played Thief: Deadly Shadows years ago and have been looking for newer games that scratch a similar itch ever since. Also haven’t heard of any of the other games you’ve reviewed aside from Obra Dinn, but I’ll be checking those out too!

Would enjoy watching you do more long plays, I enjoy some commentary on games (horror and the likes) but hate people going over the top where it feels like they're pandering to an audience of children. Yes, jump scares and such can illicit a reaction, but nobody needs to scream and go "OMG OMG" every 5 minutes in an hour long video.
What would have helped pull the visuals together would be using the comic noir aesthetic on the environment. Having a mix of traditional materials and sprites makes the game look unfinished.
Looks awesome, though I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. It basically recreates most of Thief's mechanics without adding much itself. The game could've been much more than a copy.

That just seems really cool to me, because even though you mentioned there were moments that you didn't enjoy it technically didn't tank the grade of the game , but just the kind of people who might be interested. Lol it just seemed really smart.
Meh. Thief trilogy was good because of the setting, and lore. It was good because it really paid attention to sound. It was good because of the era it was released in. While I am not against an attempt, to me this is ignore-worthy. It is shovelware imo. A copy paste mechanics game. There may be some merit to it's story, but the gameplay, nor appearance provides me no incentive to try it out. I've played through the Thief games multiple times to not desire another game that does what it does, and probably not as well. This probably makes a great stepping stone to make better games in the fuiture for the devs. Luck to them in this age of trash flooded market. On the bright side, it's not another sliding puzzle, first person shooter, or mislabelled "rogue"+lite/like game. Today I'm up to 95,051 ignored games on Steam. Every day there's around 12+ more.
