Great looking bike, I am a bit of a Kawasaki fan girl as my first bike KH125 and second bike ZXR400 and current bike z400, when I walk in to a Kawasaki dealer I get a warm feeling, more then other brands. 😊 Hope you get the bike sorted for you holiday
I have a 2023 Z900RS SE am 50 passed my DAS this January I love it I have done 2000 on it since I got it in April little snatchy throttle but can’t remap till the warranty is up in 2 years lol get the SE and put some Road 6 on it you will love it mate hope all goes well and your finger gets better soon
In that particular colour scheme that has to be the best looking of the Japanese Retros, it's a stunner (TMF loves his too in that colour) - I always really liked the original too to be fair.
Hi Fella. I bought one of these in March 2019. Colour orange/brown. Spent a fortune on it. Dekelvic 4 into four pipes, round old style indicators, colour matched rear hugger and a few bit more like white tank badges, old style side badges, rad grill, tail tidy. Simply loved the bike BUT after an hour or so of riding it god how my butt ached!! Don't get me wrong these are fabulous bikes but I cannot recommend them for long journeys let alone tours so sadly sold it to superbike factory with just 3344 miles on the clock. Keep safe, Old Bloke
I have a soft spot for any Z Kawasaki. Why back in the day I went from a KZ400 then next year bought a Z1R, pale blue, beautiful. I lived to through it, would love to have it back. The new ones capture the old school look very nicely, guessing modern performance! Very nice, lucky you.
Z900rs is ☆☆☆☆☆ Best looking modern retro. On my second, had 1 when first released in 18 aand like a fool sold it. Bought another a few months ago, and not letting this 1 go. Have delkevic 4 into 4 on it...looks the mutts nuts and sounds 🎼🎶🎼🎶 Safe rides mate 🍻🇬🇧
I have a 2018 Aprillia Tuono, 2015 BMW K1300S, 2014 HD FXDL, 1984 Honda VFR750 but my 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe is my daily ride. It does nothing spectacular but does everything right. Not my fastest, stopping or best handling bike but my best commuter and does everything with ease, Good review Mate.
Aftermarket headers, "breadbox" delete, stock muffler. These sound mega. They are "detuned" from the normal 900, but have more torque down low, way more useful on the road
Hi Shaun, that is a cool bike, do like the look of this Z900RS and the yellow on racing green paint work reminds me of the the late 60's early 70's Lotus racing colours on there F1 cars and sports cars of the time. Kawasaki do make a decent road bike, a possible future buy. Hope you get a bike soon, catch you both again Take care
As a teenager with a RD250 watching Mad Max I wanted a Z900, never affordable. FF to 2009 wanting a naked bike, bought a Triumph Street Triple, a riot of legal / illegal fun until 5 years of bad health. Now Z900RS available it's too late, I've gone older with Tiger 955i.
They are a fab looking bike.. saw them at the NEC Show and what a bike. I’d love one. Faye is flying with da paintings, good woman no bother to her. How’s da digit now Shaun..
I've just rode one on demo night. Good solid bike. Did sound lovely with the aka exhaust. Felt very planted and gave me a lot of confidence... But... I got back on my Ducati Scrambler 1100 to ride home and wouldn't swap it. Mine has much more character. Sounds better with the termis on and has much more instant power. Great bike that kawasaki though 😊
Love that Bike, especially its grunt when you twist ya right wrist..., you know, the one that makes the countryside pass by faster! Even with the standard can she sounds a million quid, almost making the Akra' superficial..., having said that, I don't know how it affects the performance. Of course, we like the fact it's carrying round analog clocks plus the colour choices that reflect this great bike's history. Yep, exactly the sort of bike that makes you wanna spend the rest of your life "behind bars". I reckon this would do me well if I was on the market again.
The rad & lack of proper twin rear shocks ,spoils it for me . I like the old school paint job on the tank though . I never judge a bike by its specs either ,at the end of the day ,it’s what a bike is like & how it feels to you that counts . Good to see you out & about on a bike . 👍
I agree with you. In the past I'd always justify not buying the bike I wanted with an excuse. Truth was I just needed to re-prioritize things. I stopped smoking tobacco cold turkey, dialed back alcohol to next to nothing, same with going out to eat or a coffee shop, cancelled a few subscriptions, and bingo, room for a bike payment. Now I've got six bikes in the garage with them all paid for except the newest, a T7. I will admit that in today's financial climate it is getting harder find extra cash.
You've carted Faye on your pillion for several years now, all over the continent..., so now it's her turn to carry you on her pillion for once, problem solved !! Btw, you can't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket..., says me who never does, despite wanting that win.
Don't know if this is of any use to you but Maghull motorcycles have some cheap bikes in decent enough condition. I wouldn't call it a premium experience but I got a my VFR there and i have no comlaints.
I love the Z900RS, unfortunately I Needed other bikes. Like you I live in a very damp climate for months on end and it would be a crime to put such a classy bike through that, as I ride year-round. If my Mrs didn't love riding on the back of the Ultra Classic, I'd trade it for the Kawasaki. I have two Kawasakis that I need to move on, a 02) ZZR1200 and an 18) KLR 650.
I've had mine since 2021 and it still puts a big grin on my face

Just got one two months ago came from a zx6r and a sportster . What a ride these are, can give them a really hard time and it makes it feel effortless
Saw one of these "in the flesh" at the Kawasaki Bike day Ace Cafe London . Stunning Bike.
I've just sold mine cos of health. Beautiful green with Delcovich headers. Broke my bloody heart 😢
Absolutely loved this bike, they are so nice to ride. Brilliant machines.
The new Kawasaki is stunning. Can’t fault it and ultra reliable. Deffo the best styled retro.

Kawasaki nailed the 900RS and the cafe racer version is cool too.

@@oldbloke9270 Velcro an off-cut of Axminster to the backside of your trousers and problem solved. 😉😉👍
Should of put a airhawk seat cushion on it or you have a boney backside
Good to see you back riding mate !

My favourite retro styled bike too! Had a GSX1400, would like one of these at some point.

I’m collecting a z900RS SE in 3 days!!!!! I’ve watched so many videos about it I’m now on to the Japanese videos 😂
Ohh i do like the se version

Yeah that's pretty much as i saw it , doesn't do anything bad and so easy to ride with enough grunt for any1
Had mine since last year, 5.5K on it. still makes me smile.

👍 Great bike and perfect for solo touring.
If you got the suspension set up for your weight it would totally transform its handling.

I think ill treat me self to one of them for my 60th in a couple of years..cheers
These are nice. Brought a mates back from Wales for him a while back. Stunners, heavy in me van though 😆
Prob my fave bike at the moment pal
I’m on my second and love it👍
Im not a fan of the retro bikes personally but love the standard Z.
Im having one delivered on Saturday 😀
The kid at the end was in time with the music 😂😂😂
That's kawasaki inline four cylinder engines smoothssssss
They are a stunning bike
A very nice bike indeed.
Quite fancy one of these myself.
Must be for you the number one choice, remember life is short.

I wonder if a dealer can step up & provide you with a demo or used bike for a tour for publicly Shaun.

Not really my kind of thing but I would take mine in the Root beer and orange.
For the money I would opt for an original myself.
I had one and I’d go for the new version. Better brakes and better tyres are the big plusses over the old one.
You could get two of these for the price of the old one.
Bafflehaus had a mint one, priced at 25 k
It sounds like this new model has a much more forgiving throttle response than previous years...
Not really it's still pretty snatchy but nothing to bad although I've never rode an early model
Great review she,s a beauty

It's a lovely bike. Is it what you need?
As a 2nd bike yes but need a 1st bike 1st
We have one of these as the prize but with gold wheels in our 2025 charity event
yes, by a country mile.
The best bike is still the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650!!!!!!!!!!❤
Great bike but not a patch on this
@@TinsonTour That kawa can't even be in the shadow of RESM 650
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I looked at buying one but for some reason Kawasaki don’t do the SE ( gold forks ohlins ) with the yellow /green paint … so I bought a BMW RS instead

Have they tamed the glitchy throttle. The one I test rode a few yrs ago put me off
No chance of loan bike for tour?
Not at the moment
@@TinsonTour you ever ridden a triumph 1200 explorer
