3 weeks on now and i've just had word through from the owner saying that the car actually won the Porsche Concours event this weekend! Huge congratulations Sid.
My wife asked me what I was watching and i said "I am watching a guy wash a car" to which she replied, "OhhKaayyyy". She doesn't get how satisfying it is to watch a true craftsman doing his thing. (It was the Aston video)
You did my white C63 two and a half years ago. When you are intimately familiar with your car YOU CAN easily see the change. You wiped 9 years off it’s age. It was like brand new all over again.
After spending a day detailing, nothing is more relaxing than having a nice cold beer and watching one of Jim's detailing videos to learn a thing or two... outstanding work as always! PS: love the coffee cup lid as a masking tool!
Brilliant, as usual. I generally watch these on my iPad Pro. This particular white car revealed that I need to do some detailing on the screen of my iPad - I kept thinking - he’s missing a fleck - it was on my screen! Time to get back to toothpickery…. Well done, sir. We’ll done!
Just started watching your channel, and your superb at what you do … after watching pan the organiser . Who also is good.. I cannot wait to get stuck in to my Porsche Cayman s. Which I am having the orange wrap removed to reveal the white car it use to be , after watching this I cannot wait to get started ….
I feel like I am in the presence of greatness watching your videos Jim , this is truly next level detailing you must surely rank as the best at your craft ! An enthusiast and a nice fella I enjoy all your videos !
Wow, Jim, I have now watched this video three different times and love it. I think this is some of your finest work yet. I have also recommended to all of my detailing friends that they check out your channel, as they will, undoubtedly, learn a lot. As always, keep up the great work!
You, Sir, are a fantastic teacher. I continue to enjoy you sharing your skill set and becoming better at detailing because of you. Just did a white GT3 with as much love and pampering as you did on that Turbo. Keep up the good work and many continued blessings on you. From Houston, Texas - Gilberto
I wouldn't worry about the Concours Jim. Your level of work is already far superior to most detailers' that their Concours detail is probably akin to a quick one stage done by you! 😁 Excellent work as always.
I just found your channel and aside from the amazing pointers I get for when I’m working with my own vehicles, I love the relaxing vibe of your stuff and your finished work is always stunning! Wow!
Very detailed job! Your only 3 of the most detailed people in the world, your like me OCD, but I like trying to be perfect! Thank you from the USA for all you do!
Fantastic video! Loved every bit of it. Such an incredible car, a work of art, and you treated it that way. Such attention to detail is much appreciated. Good work! 👍🏻
cracking job as always Jim so pleased you picked up the camera and showed all the imperfections you worked on to remove and leave this car looking great. keep up the fantastic work.
Thank you! Much appreciated - my first Super Thanks! :) I'm filming again this week on a beautiful little Boxster S finished in 'Forest Green'. Stay tuned for updates (whitedetails on instagram for updates as it happens) Jim
Loving your channel, I was wondering could you do a walk round widow of all the various pads, sizes and used and this is so confusing. I love detail, my hobby and after all it’s not we both get to see beauty in our work.
I always end up snow blind when polishing whites - easier to target decon but takes its toll to stare at for hours on end. Loving your work as always Jim; hope you can get a beer or 6 on outside with the weather improving 👍
Incredible job as always. You've motivated me (once again) to get out to the shop and get deep into my white car's correction. That is, unless you feel like a quick trip to the majestic Pacific Northwest?
If I’d ever been asked to watch a video of a ‘car wash’ - well no. But ahhh YES! Fantastic work on this and the green Boxster as well. Learned a couple of tricks and wish you were in US so my 996 C4s could spend time with you.
As always, incredible content. Thank you very much for sharing your work with us. Amazing to see you at work. Always excited to see a new White Details video pop up! Take care!
One tip for the tar removal, if it's a solvent based tar remover then you should dry the car before using it. The solvents are less dense than water and will float on the water instead of touching the paint.
Absolute auction-ready job. Great episode. The wheels were the highlight for me, but of course, they weren’t white. 🙂 I offer this having a lot of experience polishing metals: Consider using your 1-2” polisher with a battle-worn pad, paired with a product similar/equal to Griots FCC or 3D One. You can really lean-into the object you’re polishing (e.g., muffler) and will see a jaw-dropping difference. Just discard the pad and towels used after the job is done. Secret weapon for protection? Soft99 Fusso for dark-colored paint. Again, on stainless/metal. It’s durability and filling capability change metals the way ceramic coatings change paint. It’s that big of a difference. I know metals in some areas can get hot, but ultimately the most dramatic correction results require a ton of rotation and a forgiving abrasive. Cheers.
White is a bit harder to "read" and only "appears" to be more forgiving. Nonetheless the satisfaction is still there when the paint is flattened cos it gives a different level/type of reflection. Very nice work on the Porsche. Enjoyed another quality production from you as always. Stay safe!
@whitedetails Great video. Not easy to keep a high concentration level during the correction process and remembering to capture various aspects of the job. I'm doing a paint correction and ceramic on a black Cayman GTS next week so the video has been really useful.👍
Another superb result. Attention to detail is on another level. It’s just a pity that there seems to be no engagement with people who post comments. Questions go unanswered and compliments are not acknowledged. But the video is beyond criticism.
Hi Paul, thanks. I do very much appreciate all interactions and compliments on the channel and in the community as a whole. It's impossible to go through everything across different platforms and give the interactions they deserve. I have too much screen-time outside of polishing cars as it is; I'd never get anything done :) it's a fair comment tho & thanks for your kind words.
Great job, looks stunning I have wondered if you started in a past life polishing telescope mirrors for NASA. The finish is no different. Looking forward to the nxt video.👍
Beautiful Car and and an equally beautiful job done on the detailing. There is no way on earth I would want to collect that car and drive it home unless the weather forecast for that day was perfect! 15% chance of rain?? Postpone it. Collect the following week 😃 Better still, have it trailered back to my Sky Garage.
I really like how you diligently treat your work, I try not to miss your releases here ... question-When you clean clay body, what liquid you use to spay?
Amazing video as always. Question: what’s in the sprayer you use as a pre wash and on the wheels (assuming it’s the same sprayer)? An APC or is it a closely held secret?

James White, a huge pat on the back, quality work always wins. Congratulations! I love your channel!
Fantastic! Do you get to keep the trophy for half the time? You deserve it!
My wife asked me what I was watching and i said "I am watching a guy wash a car" to which she replied, "OhhKaayyyy". She doesn't get how satisfying it is to watch a true craftsman doing his thing. (It was the Aston video)
THIS… IS… FLAWLESS
Absolutely you are the best detailer on TH-cam, and just you, not a team, no more people, just you, congratulations
True story, I would say the best.
Masterclass of Auto Detailing! How to prepare a car for Concours Judging! Spectacular work!

Then put BeadMaker on a microfiber and wipe on the screen, it makes it like budder 👍🏻
Another Awesome Detail Jim 👍😎
LOVE the carwash portion Jim. Thanks for including it!!! Beautiful job. It was in rough shape.

Jim White of White Details - your detailer's favourite detailer!
So therapeutic watching your vids
Your eye for detail is just astonishing. Goes so, so much further than lots of the other detailers. I love it.
Another prime example of why Jim & White Details simply are the best.. 👌🏻
Beautiful work mate. Pleasure seeing you work.
That coffee cup lid is priceless!
😂😂😂 👍🏼👍🏼
After years of watching your videos, you still inspire this driveway warrior to do better. Thanks Jim.
Friday is usually an awesome day, But a WhiteDetails Friday is almost to good for reality.
Wow, Jim, I have now watched this video three different times and love it. I think this is some of your finest work yet. I have also recommended to all of my detailing friends that they check out your channel, as they will, undoubtedly, learn a lot. As always, keep up the great work!
The piano for the outro was perfect

Always a top end result from hours and hours of work. Nice one Jim!
It looks stunning. What a difference. Fantastic job as always.
That is some seriously dedicated detailing work. I hope you are handsomely reward for this effort sir.
I wouldn't worry about the Concours Jim. Your level of work is already far superior to most detailers' that their Concours detail is probably akin to a quick one stage done by you! 😁
Excellent work as always.
Great transformation of a stunning car! That has to be the worlds first ceramic coated Costa coffee cup lid by the way 😂
I just found your channel and aside from the amazing pointers I get for when I’m working with my own vehicles, I love the relaxing vibe of your stuff and your finished work is always stunning! Wow!
It's amazing what an essential tool in a good detail is a thumbnail, I have taken to keeping them very short so they won't break or split 👍💯
Very detailed job! Your only 3 of the most detailed people in the world, your like me OCD, but I like trying to be perfect! Thank you from the USA for all you do!
Oh, you were enjoying work!
Awsome detaling!
Fantastic video! Loved every bit of it. Such an incredible car, a work of art, and you treated it that way. Such attention to detail is much appreciated. Good work! 👍🏻

YES ! Another new video. Great stuff! But before I'm going to actually watch it, I'll hit the thumb to be sure to like it.
lovely car even better finish to it after the magic hands of Jim done the business 👍😁
Detailing master again. I think I might go for the Welly and shorts combo this summer 😁
Amazing results
Spot on! You always deliver
Jim, your attention to detail is simply brilliant. Love your work brother. Cheers. 🍻
Thank you! Much appreciated - my first Super Thanks! :) I'm filming again this week on a beautiful little Boxster S finished in 'Forest Green'. Stay tuned for updates (whitedetails on instagram for updates as it happens) Jim

As always.. and amazing job once again Jim. Even if you don’t think you’d be able to capture the work done on camera, please keep them coming!!
Excellent content, Jim! Always pleased with your vids!
Brilliant as always.
🤞 for the win in the competition then.
Great work, as we all know you will provide us with, time after time Jim. Fantastic as always.
I always end up snow blind when polishing whites - easier to target decon but takes its toll to stare at for hours on end. Loving your work as always Jim; hope you can get a beer or 6 on outside with the weather improving 👍
Good work bought this exact car today!!
Incredible job as always. You've motivated me (once again) to get out to the shop and get deep into my white car's correction. That is, unless you feel like a quick trip to the majestic Pacific Northwest?
Outstanding!
Looks amazing, now I want my RS done! You are meticulous and i really like attention to detail. Great job.

I still think a White car detailed well is as slick as a Black Tuxedo. Great work.
Just found this channel and have subscribed. I have a similar car except for the center lock wheels. What an amazing job you did!
Top man doing a top job well done Jim your work is outstanding and we should all go above and beyond like you my friend 🤘👍👍

Anyone else get Gran Turismo garage vibes from this video? A mint car, in a mint garage, as good as it gets, with some jazz playing.
Amazing video as always. Question: what’s in the sprayer you use as a pre wash and on the wheels (assuming it’s the same sprayer)? An APC or is it a closely held secret?
