How to: Wonder Woman inspired Doll / Barbie Repaint - Tutorial

- Hi guys! In today's video I'm showing you how to make your own Wonder Woman doll :D I'm really excited to see the movie - have you guys seen it yet?
I used a Barbie in this video, but you can use the same methods to do this for any type of doll. There is a lot of detail to her outfit, but I tried to keep my materials and methods as simple as possible, to make this an easier project for you guys to follow :) I did the best that I could from reference pictures, though some of the details were quite hard to see.

Materials:
Doll of your choice
Kitchen film & tape
Stretchy fabric (for wig cap)
Glue
Doll hair (viscose)
Hair spray
Canvas fabric (black and red)
Fake leather
Acrylic paint and/or alcohol ink
Mod podge
Polymer Clay (Fimo)
Liquid Clay (Sculpey)
Water color pencils
Chalk pastels
Mr super clear spray
Acetone/nail polish remover

Oh, this has to be one of my favorites you've done so far! 😍 The wig (great choice v/s a reroot) is a perfect combo of wild & voluptuous. And I'm always amazed at how you can deconstruct the costumes & accessories from the original sources, but aren't afraid to give it a good tweak to make things work better for your doll. This was so entertaining...& edifying...thanks for sharing all of your wonderful work. 💙

This is insane how much work goes into the dolls. This is the first video I've seen of someone re-purposing dolls and I was expecting to see someone just paint the doll's skin and that's it.

I just watched Wonder Woman and it was AMAZING! I loved the movie so much like seriously and I don't normally watch or like super hero movies, so I was so happy to see this tutorial! I would love to try this but I'm not that skilled haha loved this nevertheless

Wonderful repaint. Wish you'd made the skirt a fraction longer though - the Made To Move Barbies have horrible pelvic areas. A millimetre or two longer would have hidden it completely. Still a lovely job though ❤️

Please consider a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman from the TV series for those of us who grew up watching her spin around in secret and use only a pair of huge glasses 👓 to conceal her identity from her man crush Steve Trevor. This is amazing and beautiful! I would buy this doll over the ones selling in market. Unfortunately the difficulty level of this project is too difficult for me, but I enjoyed watching it nonetheless. You are very talented.
