- Hi guys! In today's video we're doing this Medusa / Gorgon inspired doll repaint on a Monster High doll ^^ I used a Cleo De Nile doll, but you could also use a Barbie or Ever After High. This was requested resently and that made me really excited, since I had been wanting to do this doll for a while :) I made a snake wig and tail using polymer clay and this is definetly the most modifications I have ever done to a doll. It was a really fun challenge though ^^ If you have request for other characters, creatures or so on that you would like me to do as repaints, leave them in the comments below :D

I love seeing something old and broken get remade into something new and so cool.
the entire time you were rolling out the snakes i was quietly saying things like "dats gonna be a spooky boy" and "wow, that's one dangerous noodle".....why am i like this

This is incredible!!! The snake tail is sick!!! They need to make this a Monster High Doll!!!
Frankie in the Great Scarrier Reef doll series actually had a snake like tail if you're looking for one you can buy :)
I love watching your videos. Even though I can't afford the materials and thus can't make any of these dolls, your videos are relaxing. You're not blasting loud music or using a terrible mic. It's soft and quiet, which is perfect for one of my headaches.
I love her voice. It sounds so sweet and calming. I also love her talent!
I actually really loved that Cleo was the base doll for this project, because of the whole Deuce and Cleo couple, and the repainted doll is a gorgon XD A+ Made me think of... "is this what their children would be like?"

Try making a huldra. It’s like a Nordic forest siren. They’re pretty cool. Got a hollow back (like a tree trunk) and they’re very self-conscious about it and will often kill anyone that sees their (none existent) back. It exists both boy and girl ones and some have animal features, like fox tails.
Also the end result of this medusa is absolutely gorgeous.
Though maybe you should have brought down the green you just on the face on the body too? Just to bring out the same green undertone in the body as you tried to get in the face. Just use some light pastels at the areas like the joint and if you don’t think it fits your aesthetics just wipe it off.
This is the most intricate and beautiful transformation you've done yet. You are very talented. Love your videos.

Okay, as someone who ADORES Greek mythology, I have to say that, while I'm typically not fond of "snake body Medusa" characterizations, your doll is GORGEOUS! I love everything you did her!-- especially the little rhinestones for the eyes of the hair snakes, they're so cute! :D
If you'd like to do more with Greek mythology, then might I recommend Persephone, the goddess of spring and queen of the dead and the underworld? "Spring" makes me think of happy, cute things, while "death" makes me think of darker, almost gothic things; it would be interesting to try to bring those concepts together into a doll.
EDIT: I think a doll that might work would be Spectra Vondergeist, but she's very pale, so you might have trouble with her face-up...? Also, I don't own any of the dolls, so I'm not sure how Spectra's molding is.
i'm usually impressed by your work, but this brings it to another level, well done!
Medusa has been a favorite character of mine for years. You did a beautiful job on creating her. Maybe you could try the Goddess Nyx next.
I absolutely love Greek mythology, and the film Clash of the Titans (the original).
The Medusa was one of my favorite creatures from it.
This one is gorgeous, and well crafted, with stunning details.

I have always wondered, what's the difference between a Naiad and a Dryad?
Red Wolf dryads are forest spirits that inhabit trees and bushes, naiads are water spirits that live in oceans and lakes

I would love to see your version of the Queen of the Damned, a movie based off of an Anne Rice novel of the same name where Aaliyah played the Queen of the Damned. I would also like to see you do a Harpie, a Banshee, werewolf, Giaea, and a Siren. I figured that if I put down a bunch of ideas I have a higher chance of other people liking at least 1 of my ideas, lol.

Wow the work you put into the dolls and this one is impressive ! You are really creative as in you always find ways to adapt the things you know how to do to fit your projects , as well as making it easy for outsiders to the hobby like me to understand 😊
AkameruKawaii-sama, I want to throw down the gauntlet and give you a real challenge: an Arachne or Drider! (Both are spider-centaurs; the Arachne is from Greek mythology, while the Drider is half Drow/half spider from Dungeons and Dragons.)
Your medusa is really cute and could easily be adapted into a Lamia or Naga by leaving off the snake hair and giving them appropriate costumes (Classic Greek for the Lamia, traditional Indian for the Naga), and I love the succubus you did too!

I would love to be able to create one myself, but I don't have the time and energy right now, more's the pity. Plus I need to improve my skills at doll modding quite a bit before I seriously attempt it, but that shouldn't stop anyone else that wants to take a crack at it themselves! ^_^

Krystal Cuore Greek sirens resembled more or less like harpies in fact but then they got a more mermaid esc look to them in Roman mythology...

Seeing this made me think of maybe a dragon person. I mean like a human like figure with some patches of scales, horns, wings, dragon eyes, and to make it really epic is do armor as well. This could be good practice for doing a male doll

You really succeded getting the depth in her eyes and the rest of the doll is beautifully made. How do you sharpen your pencils? They always look brand new and freshly sharpen.
