Handshake should have been left to be about national peace; not about the 2022 succession politics. The President should give Kenyans the leeway to choose the next leader by universal suffrage - the majority vote should be allowed to hold sway over who leads Kenya next. I think if ruto could have embraced the handshake, accept to be part of it, he would be running against Raila and not uhuru. Uhuru seems to have an agenda of peace and unity as his main legacy and felt like ruto was messing up his legacy.

The President should give Kenyans the leeway to choose the next leader by universal suffrage - the majority vote should be allowed to hold sway over who leads Kenya next. It's very wrong for him to make attempts at swaying our minds in favour of Raila and against Ruto, even as we enjoy the freedom of choice. Let him keep his legacy free of the quagmire of succession politics

I think if ruto could have embraced the handshake, accept to be part of it, he would be running against Raila and not uhuru. Uhuru seems to have an agenda of peace and unity as his main legacy and felt like ruto was messing up his legacy.
Uhuru wants a custodian who will look out for his family's investments. It was supposed to be ruto but being deputy got to his head and he became drunk with power and started stealing everything in sight. Now it's raila who is being made custodian
