They’re shown walking sadly at her funeral in Revenge of the Sith, and Anakin meets them in deleted scenes from Attack of the Clones, in which they tell him he’s the first boyfriend she’s had, which is awkward.

I think it’s mostly obi wans fault, let his Padawan be manipulated by a Sith Lord since he was a child, support him horribly, antagonize his insecurities after being a slave and losing everyone he had. Also no one has to deal with the power he has to deal with, he’s more powerful than yoda technically I feel like that probably makes him more easily unstable as it’s a lot to handle. Easy for padme to be nice she grew up in luxury and convenience. She also did still hand power over to palpatine showing that the same guy who tricked Anakin was able to easily to trick her into doing something terrible.
