This is probably the only take I heard from Greg that I disagree with. Shakur has the most pressure to perform. That performance he put up against DLS was horrible for the sport. He needs to outclass and stop an inferior opponent simple. Tank reached that point where people are starting to tune in to watch him lose. It’s no pressure for him just keep doing what you doing..

Shukur knocked out his fight before his last.he stayed in the pocket with s boxer with good power but we can't take all ofvthe fight when he had a better night and just focus on his bad performance. Alotta great boxer had bad performances.

What I don’t understand is what does tank have to prove? Tank could recover from a loss, Shakurs whole come up is challenging tank. If Shakur loses, his entire fan base will turn on him.
I don’t wanna see the fight tbh, I think Tank may lose by decision. Tank would have to knock Shakur out to win and that’s a challenging task because that boy Shakur style is run from the smoke.
Tank pointed out how Shakur's defense is limited mostly to moving back and jumping away, but not slipping punches. That's why I don't see how Shakur's defense is strong enough to keep him from getting clipped when he engages a fast handed big puncher, especially up close. Shakur showed he is too paranoid of getting knocked out, as we could see when he fought De Los Santos and refused to engage him.

IMO it’s Shakur who got ALOT MORE TO PROVE. It’s seems to me that Shakur has a questionable heart for one. When you look back at his last fight his performance was all about his lack of heart. He needs to face his fear of getting hit! I think he exposed himself when said Tyson Fury was a “Cheat Code” and could beat ALI 🤦🏾♂️ just because he’s 6’9”. When do hear boxers make that analogy? It’s ALWAYS size don’t matter. Tank always fights guys bigger than him, unlike Shakur who like Devin Haney like to have a CRAZY size advantage on fight night! A lot of these guys campaigning at weight classes 2 divisions beneath were they should be! Even Frank Martin fought at 140lbs in the amateurs, and actually only fought a couple of fights at 35 as a pro! Boxing needs to clean that up with a mandatory hydration clause, guys like Devin Haney be CHEATING💯it was premeditated what he did to Regis Prograis, boarderline criminal to come in at 165lbs on fight night, to make matters worse he called Ryan Garcia a CHEATER for coming in 3.5lbs over weight (even though he out weighed Ryan on fight night) before he knew about the positive test. So he’s fully aware of the advantages of the extra weight. What’s not really being talked about is the FACT that ever since the amateurs it was known that Dev can’t take a good punch, this explains why Bill guided his career the way he did, he made Dev drain himself to make 135, then rehydrate 20-25lbs to fight EXTREMELY smaller guys giving him an heavyweight type of advantage lessening the threat of Devin getting exposed for his weak chin! I think Bill knew that during the build up to the Ryan fight that Dev didn’t have the weight advantage vs Ryan and once he realized that Ryan’s game plan was to exploit just that, because Ryan said it. it shook Bill and he saw EVERYTHING he was able to convince the ppl Dev was through his social media network of TH-camrs was in danger of being exposed. That’s when Bill took the shit talking to the next level and tried to instill “street fear” in Ryan and went as far as saying he was sending his son who has no POP in to KILL Ryan! All signs of DESPERATION, and when you surround a Desperate man with ppl who have the means to make it all go away if you lose, we’ll desperate ppl do desperate things. Given the ppl around Bill and the SMOKE & MIRRORS style of promotion he uses I would out it past him to have had a plan B in case Dev loss. Now we see Shakur taking Devins side. What I take from that is Shakur is still feeling the backlash from his amateur performance and is looking for “friend” and who better than a wounded warrior who is receiving backlash for his performance. Mark my words Shakur is going to turn on Devin faster than a Ryan Garcia left hook😂 soon as Dev get knocked out again, or is able to get a big fight that Shakur wanted it’s on! IMO Shakur needs to prove that he is what he claims to be and test himself, rematch Edwin and MAN UP. just because you in the gym around bud Crawford picking up things in sparring don’t mean you automatically on that level you got a lot fights and ZERO TESTS! I got Jursly Vargas putting Shakur to SLEEP in 6rds or less.
