But I can't denied that there's also a few pupils that even cannot understand English language.

I really understand the enthusiasm that the kids have when Japanese People visiting their school~It is a really a good environment for them to show what they have learn in classes, making new friends and exchanging culture. As for me, I'm one of the host family for my Japanese friend and an Ambassador last year to represent Ipoh in Japan. When I went to Japan, I learnt many new things about Highschool in Japan and Its really interesting and fun~I even tell them about our secondary school activities and the most exciting part is about Prefectorial Board and Curriculum activities. They had fun learning new things too~I really had so much fun by making new Japanese Friends~ I hope more schools in Malaysia will have Exchange Student Programme so that, the students can experience making new foreign friends
The thing that very unique about Malaysia is... Well.. school... That brings back memories. Although it's not same as Japanese Local School but atmosphere are very different. And for morning session is 7:30am till 1:10pm Monday to Thursday. 12 noon for Fridays. Best part? School Festivals. Edit: Love and Hate relationship also exists too. Wish if I can best the ranks in midterms with flying colors.
This is my school, and I'm the 1st batch of that school when its started with form1 on 2002 around 70+ students only. Thank you for the memories that you shared. miss my school day
@kupis1408 Interesting. I was raised by the generation who suffered through the Japanese occupation of Malaya during WW2. My dad and grandparents. Even a few of my teachers. They did tell us about the hardship & cruelty but never once had any of them expressed hatred towards the Japanese, haboured that kind of feeling or tried to instill it in the younger generation. I think their generation is far more forgiving than we know. I also don't remember anyone disagreeing/protesting when our former PM Tun Mahathir actively implemented his “Look East Policy" and started sending Malaysian students to Japan back then.
