That looks amazing love the great work you guys have such amazing modeling skills. Love your attention to details in all that you build you are a true craftsman. Great video thanks for sharing have a great weekend.
Please make sure it's a train portal and not a time or dimensional portal. I only build portals on my layout. If I tried that on my garage my wife would make sure I rued the day. Another enjoyable video 😊👍!
Liking the portal area. How about a pink foam plug covered in rocks to slide into the portal and look like a cave in... keep the heat in and pests out, ... Thanks for a great morning coffee...
Well, everybody's projects are looking fine and dandy. Now, I need to figure out a model railroad project to get started in and get crackin'! 😁 I'll be looking forward to your future shows. Take care. 👋😊
Haha well it looks as its coming along just fine and looks so super sweet. Haha weather cider LOL it looks so cool. I've never seen that but your is tops. 🙂Thomas over at The Model Hobbyist
A GOOD VIDEO OF YOUR PROJECTS I AM SURE YOU WILL DO A AWESOME JOB YOU BOTH ARE TRU CRAFTSMAN. YOU BOTH HAVE A GOOD EYE FOR WHAT YOU WANT AND HOW TO ACCOMPLISH IT RESEARCH ON AND MEASURE TWICE AND PROCEED WITH CATUION. THE WHOLE PROJECTS ARE THE BEST PART OF MY DAY. YOU LIVE IN A NICE AREA PLEASE BE SAFE AND CAREFUL MASK UP WHEN NEEDED TO. I APPRECIATE YOU BOTH AND YOUR PROJECTS AS WELL VERY GOOD INDEED JIM KAMMERER OF PHILADELPHIA PA.
Wow, everything looks so cool!!! I can't wait to see more about the tunnel portal and the large scale garden railroad. The trestle looks very nice. The gondola looks like it's also coming along very good. Then there is the smaller scale detail stuff both of you do, it's so incredible what details are included in the smaller scale projects. Your videos are never boring.
Lightly brushing stucco with a throw-away brush will soften and naturally age any "rock formations" you make. I color mine with thinned out latex paint. I also source my cedar from Home Depot in the form of cedar fence boards. They''re pretty cheap (around $2.50 to $3.50. Mill up great, naturally gray and weather well, and take fastenings well. I build all my truss bridges and trestles with them.
You two are a hoot. So many different things that it bis difficult to cover everything. Really like how you did the inside of the tunnel. The outside side is equally good and very realistic. Never boring always unique! From the third coast.
Never boring. I agree the second version turned out much better. Think Mother Nature was trying to tell you she didn’t like the first try.. Karyn you could start a new business selling those walnut dioramas as xmas ornaments. Garagmahal, lmao. That should be the name of your tunnel.
Garden railroad looking great, your attention to detail is superb! The bit at 7:07 , how do they drag those steam locos out? Since it's a huge job firing one of those up, let alone all four of them just to move a few metres, did they use that big yellow diesel to tug them out?

Thanks!!! We’ve been at Disneyland. Back now to model some stuff! And it’s cooled off! Finally! Better for garden railroading.
I'm excited about 3985 coming here to my home state of Illinois!
I never thought model railroading and jazz had so much in common. Now that I think about it; they do. Y’all blew my mind today.
Thanks!!! Yup. Jazz. And space X. Space X?? Well 🚀 launch. BOOM! Ok try something else. HISSSSS BOOM! Better.. let’s try…
Portal project has turned out amazing! Can’t wait to see more on Adam’s railroad, as we too model 7.5 gauge.
We need to get down there!!
not knowing how the best part is. Starts the creative juices flowing
The tunnel looks great. Have a great week
Thanks as always
You guys are good professionals, I can't wait to see the project all done.👍👍☕️...🇨🇦
Thanks!!!! Off doing “research”. (Screwing around). Ideas now for the grade to the portal.

Thanks again!!!!

Naw. It’s a time portal
Be interesting to watch Adam's build it should turn out fantastic.
The “back side” can go forward again as the huge rocks are in place. He tore that whole area out. Lowered the lawn about 5 feet! Should be amazing.
@@ToyManTelevision Just what's shown is fantastic.

I do have a door system. Well mostly. Assuming it works. So far it does!!
Oh my, as much as I like the R/R I can't help but like how you build so much detail in perfection into your work! Congrats on your house. Thanks guys.
Karyn’s house is now 99.875% finished. Then onto?? But something cool!
Looking forward to them, Lord willing and the creeks don't rise.
Creeks in the knees?

Thanks again. Back from Disneyland. Rode the “red car”. Well… cute though. Had a great time.
Exciting. Thank you!
Thanks. So much more coming. Er.. as always.

That is what I used for wood! Except I already used it. Then left it outside for a year. Then cut strips!! Same thing though.
What another great show form Toy Man TV.
Thanks. And hi!

Hi Ken. Thanks again. Been of screwing around but now back to the railroad with renewed vigor.
@@ToyManTelevision Looking good!
I see your portal projects got off to a rocky start
Looking forward to upcoming videos! Are you going to put some stucco (rocks) above the tunnel into the garage?
Yes!! I have a plan for that. Problem is it’s a thin section. Only about 2”. But I think I can make that work.
Darn. I was second to click like. Good evening from Bangkok

Oddly Ed fired up 4014 for this!! He just sent a great video of 5011 being pushed by 4014.
😊
Dale.
Great work !!! What did you use to close the hole off at the start of the video ???
A dog door!! I’ll put up a proper video.
Many Thanks !!!! That's what i thought, I'm using the same thing for my tunnel.
I know it's not directly relevant, but how did Garage Mahal get it's name? Thanks, Keith Young, UK.
A friend. Well he called his garage that. So..
