I got SUPER lucky one day at goodwill Frank and Eileen jeans, 3 Hill house nap dresses, 1 hill house ophelia dress, a tuckernuck dress, 3 Show me your Mumu dresses, 2 Sachin and Babi dresses, a farm rio cardigan and 2 pairs of mother jeans ALL NWT! I got all of that for $175
I look forward to these videos so much! I was a reseller for 25 years and got burnt out. Now I do it on the side for fun. But because I was out of the game for a few years, I'm not up and up on the newer brands. These help me not to miss good brands. Thank you!
I would love an updated video about keywords and SEO. I would also love to know how you decide when to list what type of seasonal clothing. E.g. how soon do you start listing spring etc...? Or does some clothing get listed year round and if so, what is it?

I would say imo sell the clothes at the same time the stores do. If they are selling summer start selling summer etc
I also love to find Mother, Frank & Eileen (the only skinny jeans I will pick up), Sezane and Rhoback. I also like to find Aviator Nation and Rowing Blazers. Favorite shoes to find: Alohas and Blundstones. Favorite maternity: Hatch. I also find equestrian breeches like The Tailored Sportsman where I live (NYC) and they do well. I’m always looking for newer Reformation and LoveShadkFancy. For pajamas: Lake and Roller Rabbit. Women’s mature brands Alice Walk and Peruvian Connection Also men’s chore jackets like Gustin and Paynter
I just found a Cozy Earth men’s set! It is bamboo and so soft! I found the joggers and a matching pullover shirt. I need to get them listed. Different sizes, but I still might list them together. I also have a Vuori women’s hoodie. Thank you for the motivation!

I love selling sleep wear! I just found LAKE for the first time at the thrift yesterday! I look specifically for Eileen West, BedHead, Johnny Was, Petite Plume, Soma and LRL, the larger the size, the better!

Zuri dress sold in kess than an hour for me for a full price of over $100, it was getting likes every second and multiple offers. All in less than an hour.
I sell a mix of men and women, I definitely like my guy customers better, they rarely lowball and more often than not they just buy things for the price listed. I have found the worst customers are usually other resellers 🤨. So, yeah, if you do not have Mens in your inventory I would recommend getting some😉.
You know what’s crazy! I just started in December and I realized this exact thing!! They’re willing to just pay the price you ask and don’t try to haggle down for the sake of it!!! Wow so it’s confirmed true!

Would you include your net profit? Net profit is your take home after all fees and cost of goods are deducted. That way it’s easier to tell if you promote, run a sale, etc. Thank you! Love your videos!
I feel like what's being stated as gross profit is actually net profit. Several times she's mentioned the gross profit is after all fees and cost of goods. That should be the net profit, not gross. Unless I'm missing something.
From an accounting perspective, gross profit is your profit after cost of goods sold (which includes any cost associated with the sale of that item such as fees, shipping etc). Net profit is your profit after all other expenses including taxes, mileage, etc. I hope that helps!

Hello I sold the wool& brand super fast. It was a short sleeve shirt for $45. It had a lot of attention too. I would say it’s a brand to look out for.

Not sure if this is every time but Relwen does well. Very unassuming I had seen just plain white mens polo for weeks then I just happened to see video about it. Bought it for $3 sold for $35 in week.

yes!! i went to a garage sale a few years ago and picked up like 5 plus size eileen west nightgowns and they all sold within like a week for $30+!!! always stay on the lookout for it!

I’m curious if you offer free shipping on everything? Your gross profit is so much lower than the price it sells at.
Interesting! I typically have a 55%-60% gross profit margin which I think is pretty standard, but I could be wrong. I only do free shipping on Mercari. And I do promoted listings typically at 7% on eBay.
Oh I see! I’m always a bit unclear on eBay fees. I will have to log in on my laptop to see the breakdown. I’ve been selling since 2001 but only seriously in the last year. My COGS are really low and I rarely promote.

I usually pass on madewell lately, maybe I’m not getting the better pieces though… it just doesn’t seem special in any way. I still pick up Anthro, in fact have some nwt dresses I need to list. I have only come across a few from this list, and not yet as comfortable paying up as much for perceived value, I find it harder to justify. I’m always learning though and the biggest thing I have learned is consistency !

There are so many clothes in the world that donation centers don’t want them, other countries don’t want them. They pollute the earth because they are mostly just burned in dumps to get rid of them. Plenty for everyone.
You are right we should let all the mounds and mounds and mounds of available used clothing go to landfills because it would make you feel better about life. But thanks for commenting on reselling content and helping the algorithm
ANYONE can shop the thrift stores. There are billions of clothing items available at thrift prices. Relax.
What should be illegal are people doing this with the housing market. There is a surplus of clothing, and “poor” people are more in need of resources towards feeding and housing- not clothing- there’s so much and it’s so cheap! For reference I’m in Houston and there are literally 100s of thrift stores here. I like to shop the ones that work directly with local community in visible ways… to help fund those programs.
Would fearn replace Vendoo? I wish we could get a soft wear that does everything like offers and sharing plus crosslisting and bookkeeping too
