Man, Colten, your 4K cinematography is beyond outstanding! 🤩I could see a future channel with just ASMR fly camping; I felt like I was right there with you and all your camera angles and drone shots. Impressive edit too. 🏆
Thanks buddy, that means a lot! It’s funny you mention ASMR fly camping, cause I had an idea the other day to do an entire fly camping video without any dialogue or music. I thought that would be kinda cool to just hear the sounds of nature. Thanks again for the feedback.
Just wow!! Your videos are absolutely stunning. The amount of thought of every angle, where you place the camera and your equipment is so well planned. You really capture the sounds and feeling. Like we are there with you!
My favorite paramotor videos. Thanks for including a bit of the small stuff even packing up etc, I love all the details. I really had a pit in my stomach watching that launch. I know in a normal LZ conditions etc it would be fine but a small trip, a broken prop or line up on that mountain and I can only imagine the implications of hiking all that heavy gear down to the nearest serviceable road. If it ever happens make sure to video the whole thing. When my prop detached on a fly camping trip on top of a mountain I remember the next day starting to panic about where the hell I was going to get drinking water from and calculating a full half days hike to the nearest dam. I don't think ive ever stressed about getting water before in my life which makes these adventures so much more than just the flying or camping. Great job!
@@Para_Ninja hey thanks man! Glad you enjoy the videos so much! I’m just creating the type of content I most enjoy watching myself. Yeah I will definitely video it if something ever goes wrong! I’ve always brought the necessary equipment with me so that if something does go wrong I’m not gonna be in any real danger, it’ll just be a pain to hike out. Although I also am careful where I land when fly camping by myself, I always find a spot where I’m able to glide off of in case I break a prop or something of that nature. It’s important to plan for these things because if ya do it long enough it’s just a matter of time. Thanks again for the feedback, I appreciate you.
I just want to echo para_ninja's (and other folks') comments. Your cinematography is the best I've seen in the paramotor community - it really looks like you have a supporting film crew with you. The details like having the drone up so it can catch your inflation test from above are brilliant. You had one great framed shot after another. So impressive! That final launch was butt-puckering to watch, but well done.
Hello Colten, really great footage of your paramotor trips. I love watching them when the weather is bad or in the evening as a bedtime story ☺️👌 Your videos whet your appetite and are of good quality 👌 Please keep it up and make many more videos. Greetings from Germany 😊
Awesome trip, and awesome video! That cabin is about 50 miles south of my house in Canada. I recently completed my paramotor training so I can now explore the local skies. I'll need to work up to mountain top landings though!
@@coltenwenger on the mountain tops I've fly-camped on, there were still dirt roads that went back up in there. It makes me feel like I'm not quite doing it right if I coulda just driven up there. So, I'm checking your drone shots for roads to determine its degree of awesomeness. 🤣
@@mmcowan haha yeah I hear ya. I avoid fly camping on mountaintops that have road cause it feels like cheating and take away the sense of true backcountry fly camping
That's awesome dude. I would be mostly worried about getting off the mountain as I fly a Top80 which would make things interesting. Always enjoy your videos.
Thanks man! Hey quick question, you live out in Tennessee yeah?! And you’re friends with Adam Newbloom right? I’m coming out there this week, to hang out with him and we’re gonna go to moonshiners together!

Very cool mate. I love how relaxing and peaceful you made the music as well. I know you don’t get many mistakes up there. So stay safe! And always pray before you go! And may you always make it home safely again!
Love your videos, been flying PPG for 4.5 years but haven’t fly camped yet, so jealous!!!!. Can you send me a link for the bag you use that sits in front of you while flying, it looks like a nice setup and I like how you hooked it to your harness. Thanks

Great video. I was wondering if you had any concerns of the owners of the cabin coming there while you were sleeping
No this is a public cabin, located on national forest so anyone can use it
That is so cool. Sounds nearly perfect (less the mice infestation). I have never heard of that. Really great video- thanks for posting!
how does that work with cabins like this. it it public property or is it owned by someone? can anyone use it? Man this is fantastic.

So if you were camping by yourself how did you get overhead video of your wing inflating.
