ThankYou For The Intuitive, Nate. You Have A Beautiful Day. LGB Auntie Co.😊
LOVE your content! You have saved me a LOT of time and money! Thanks!
btw: How often do people tell you that you go the WHOLE Captain Dan / Gary Sinise thing going on?
Thanks! Glad the videos help. I get the lt Dan thing pretty often, especially from YT viewers!
Question
I've the same unit , question is would my transformer trickle charge 2 units if I was gonna get another one ?
I have the wired dual camera doorbell T8203. Overall it's not too bad but it's package detection has been very poor for me. It either says there is one when there isn't or doesn't say when there is one. Nice thorough review Nate!
Did you set a detection zone for the downward camera? I found that helps
@@NaterTater No I haven't. I thought about that when you showed that. I will give it a try.
Nate your videos are great. One question just switched my setup from Blink to Eufy, does the home base need to be centered in a central location between all devices or does the connection from the router to the home base only matter as far as that is concerned?
Home base 3 does have its own wireless signal so it needs to be "in range" of the devices that are connected directly to it. Other devices are just on your home wifi or if using a home base 2 it uses your home wifi.
@JMSynthetics I too am currently using blink and now thinking about making the switch to Eufy. My Blink system is being really finicky the last couple days. How are you liking your system?
@@VanLoweLawnCare I love it so far. I have noticed some software bugs and reported them to their support group and they have been resolved fairly quickly or at least acknowledged they were working on something. Blink was great when it first came out but every time they update something it became less valuable to me with the new issues that seem to appear. The app for blink has significantly declined IMO as well over the years.
@@JMSynthetics Blink the last couple days isn't letting me look at live view, or pulling up local clips. I'm somewhat getting notifications, but this is super irritating, because I pretty much can't do anything. It won't even refresh the cameras in settings.
Great thanks!! BTW, is that an iPad Pro tablet you're using?
It's not, it's a samsung tab s7
@@NaterTater Ahhh ok thanks. I was hoping you were going to say Microsoft Surface 😃 I'd like to use these apps with something other than a smartphone. At least I now know you can use a Samsung tablet!! Tx
Hello, question. With the E340 if i got the chime with it will the motion detection play through the chime or is the chime only used if someone pushes the button?
I think the chime only works on the button press. I don't see any option for just motion detection.
I Marked 6 👍 Ups Here With My 2,This Was one Makes 3, The Main Entitlement Page Makes 4, And 2 Other S'rS Here. I'll Keep Trying Nate, I Have 8 Medical, It Was 7, But, Now 8, I Am, Probably Going, Too Have, Too Have Surgery. Soo, I Will Talk To You Hopefully Sooner Than Later. LGB CoCo H.😊
Does the battery have to be charged periodically even with the wired setup.
No
Hi,
If someone steals the camera and you dont have homebase. Does this mean you dont have access to recordings as well?
Is there anyways this can be synced to cloud?
There is a paid cloud option. Without cloud or homebase the storage is on the camera.
@NaterTater hey, I got the camera. Aparantly this camera doesnt support cloud option
I'm looking for a an outdoor camera system, fully self contained, that works 24-7. I get lost immediately by every reviewer I've watched on many camera's. I just want something I can unbox, charge the internal batteries, screw onto an outdoor location, and go our and retrieve recordings that will automatically sync with my home computer.
I don't know where to start, and get lost immediately because I do not understand simple instructions,.. the slightest assumption by the reviewer looses me.
this is self contained (but can also be cloud based) and some of their hardwired cams can do 24/7 recording but in general these types of wifi cams work on motion activation only and record say 2mins. if you want something always recording the stream look into power over ethernet network video recorder (PoE NVR).
Thanks
Hey Nate, appreciate your channel bud!
I am about to make a switch for my WiFi doorbell camera, and have been wondering about something hopefully you can help me out on.
First a rundown of my overall setup, I am running the Ninja V2 🥷 from Chester Tech Repairs, my primary sim (service) I run is a TMHI plan. I am running it PoE in an outdoor enclosure with a 4x4 yagi setup.
Now, for my homes WiFi coverage I use TP Links ‘AXE5400 Pro’ Deco Mesh system.
That said, I understand that most of these WiFi devices utilize the 2.4 GHz WiFi only. I couldn’t quite tell if you said that you swapped your iPad over to the 2.4 GHz WiFi for the setup or not, but assuming that you did……..after setup is completed, does a person have to keep any linked devices (iPads, phones, etc) on the 2.4 GHz WiFi in order for the doorbell to continue to work with your devices??? Or is it ok to change back to Auto or 2.4 + 5 GHz WiFi on those devices and maintain functionality with the Eufy once setup has been completed???
I’d appreciate any advice or knowledge you could share in that!!! Thanks again!!!
Sounds like a good setup! Your other devices can be on the 5ghz wifi (or actually anywhere in the world with internet). The only time you wouldn't be able to directly connect while on 5ghz wifi at home with a camera on your 2.4ghz wifi is if there is "AP Isolation" setting on your deco system. That makes the 2.4ghz and 5ghz devices firewalled. You can turn off that setting if needed.
