Order at: www.metalblade.com/goatwhore Goatwhore video "Baring Teeth for Revolt" from the album "Constricting Rage of the Merciless". Directed by David Brodsky: www.mgenyc.com
My grandma's favorite song. She just had a stroke and has had a tough time recovering. Playing it today for her, she was tapping her foot and mouthing the words. Was awesome to see. Thank you, Goatwhore. ❤
Absolute and total confirmation I am sorry to be part of the race. Tattoos were cool before every mentally ill shithead crept out of the gutter to get a self-help saying written on their body (Yay, ladies!). If your grandma likes Sammy Duet, I gotta move on.
@@nitkonikada9892 NYC. I was at Goatwhore at the Gramery Theater right in front of Sammy for the show the other night. They were freaking excellant! Blew me away. After the show Ben came down to the blockade and signed auotographs and took pics. I got one with him. He was a totally cool dude to everyone. I didnt want the show to end.
@@CorpseGrinder1967 I have known Ben for some time. He IS a real cool dude. In fact he is the one that introduced me to Sammy. I am an Acid Bath fan and have been for a long time and never noticed how short he is. lol Sammy and Ben play pranks on each other constantly. Sammy got him good one time. At the end of a show (cannot remember where) he pulled out a shrunken head and puked on it. The entire band including Ben got sick as hell because it was hot as hell in the club they wre playing and the stench was horrendous.
I remember back when Acid Bath was still together this was Sammy's side band, they were just a three piece at first with Sammy doing the vocals and Ben was still singing for Soilent Green. I got to see Goatwhore play with Deathangel and Crowbar a couple of years ago, it was a kick ass show.
I did not know any of that. I found Acid Bath back in I think '96 and I never saw them live. Then I learned the bassist passed away or something and he was related to another member so they broke up. I thought this band came after. I never would've thought any of this was written during the Kite String or Pagan Terroristic eras
The music scene in New Orleans from the early to mid 90's was the best! I miss those days. I'd be out until the sun came up catching shows on both sides of the river with my gf blowing up my beeper wondering why I wasn't home yet lol
Ben is just freaking awesome. I've at least said hello to him every concert I've attended. Starting way back in the 90's in San Diego, with Soilent Green. He is always sweating his ass off in the merch booth. This song sounds more thrashy, but still decent.
Seen them unintentionally live twice, as in they opened for other bands i'd gone to see, and both times they left me thoroughly impressed. Solid live act.
First time I heard this band. They are %100 US Grade A In your face Metal with attitude. Love their name-unforgettable! I am in AWE over how brutal they are. EPIC-love this shit, what Metal should be. I just became a Goatwhore fan!
+Dakota Broughton I love em. Can't wait till the come to my city (Corpus Christi TX) They were here not to long ago but this was before I discovered how bad as they are.
Michael Charvat I haven't done that yet. I find a LOT of metal bands here on You Tube, Thrash, Death Metal, M Death Metal, Black Metal, GrindCore. Some of them impress me, but a lot of them don't But there is something about this band. They are Metal as fuck. straight forward, in your face, no bullshit metal, with an attitude. And I have been a fan of these guys since I discovered them. I want to discover more bands like these guys.
fuck yeah. I'm glad you like em. I've seen em live 3 times and they are amazing. if you haven't heard the lead singers other hand Soilent Green, I suggest you give em a listen. its in your face southern death metal. I think you'll like em
Go New Orleans Brass!! We all went to one of their minor league hockey games many years ago, and I've been wearing their (Goatwhore) hoodie ever since, A prized possession--thanx guys!! Couldn't be more proud of ya.
They have always had a strong Punk influence too. You can hear it all over this song. But i wasn't expecting the old school metal vibe they went with for this one. Worked great.
Trug0d Yeah took me by surprise i looked at the track listing when this track came on needed to make sure it was actually Goatwhore but i really love this song and the whole album as well.
Saw them like last week and they ended their set with this song and it was incredible! Ben hopped off stage and was moshing with us in the pit. It was a sight to behold! Hail Goatwhore!
Coming back, I remember seeing their name mentioned along with Skeletonwitch in some TV series on Netflix awhile back. Curious, I looked up their music along with Skeletonwitch. Along with hearing Slayer from Guitar Hero, my passion for metal was born. Such a nostalgic song for me right here :,)
damn these dudes are as sick as I remember. played a show with them a few years ago and I remember clearly how dark and heavy they are live and the bassists back up vocals are so fucking deep&brutal live.
I started listening to goatwhore since the serenades to the tides of blood and The Eclipse of Ages into Black. What a difference if you've ever listened to those albums!
+Herr Ilaedopernox I know they play in Nola all the time (being their home) but I never have had a chance to see em again. can't wait till they are back home and I can actually go.
I put my cat in a lions cage and played this song, all the lions bowed down to my cat (I would get demonetized and sent to a mental institution if I gave you the details)

I see a copy ready for pasta…
Who needs Metamucil, when you got SATAN! lol.

I would love to see Goatwhore, Vader and Bolt Thrower tour together.

This is quite possibly one of the most metal songs ever recorded, holy shit.
Try out Burzum :)
Emir Jasarov To hear the complete opposite? Some of the worst metal ever recorded? No thanks.
DaemoniumCC eh I like burzum if you dont thats ok its youre opinion
Emir Jasarov That's fine. Personally I'd rather have AIDS than have to listen to Burzum.
DaemoniumCC thats ok
i literally swerved too hard and lost control of my car to this song. i dont drive to it no more. literally not a joke. spooky shit
The vocalist spits those vocals like lethal venom, fucking gnarly \m/

Kicked it with Sammy at the bar after their set. That guy is so fucking dope

Goatwhore is an amazing band! 10 times better seeing them live
I showed this to my dog. I now have a wolf.
Best comment of the fucking day!
And now I'm going to play this for my wolf & see what happens....
They'll turn into Sif the great grey wolf

I showed this to MY dog... Now I have a goldfish
The mighty Goatwhore get better with every album!!!! One of the best metal bands out there. \m/
Motorhead meets Celtic frost. Can't go wrong with that
Svengeng EXACTLY!!
I was looking for this comment, ha ha!
agreed. feelin some Venom vibe too
Nice
I showed this to my cat and he asked if I had heard of Acid Bath
Thanks Elementary.
Douglas WHAT THIS WAS ON THE SHOW
Yep, several times.
I was looking for this comment, thank you
Me too dude
Just what I was thinking
The name of this band alone is already epic
Every mother/news channel/religious front hates the name and any publicity is GOOD publicity. Kick my ass again!!!
I actually got the story behind the name from Sam. One hell of a tale 😂🤮🤮
The best part about this song is where I exist at the right time to listen to it whenever I want...
Every time I think metal is dead. Seek and you shall find. This rips ass!!!
Metal will never die!
are you saying this song farts?
@@milesweiss858 yeah hes into that like most of the people who listen to this garbage
@@hoss8829 nice
So, I'm watching Elementary and... wtf, Carcass and this. Awesome. I hope the band got paid, they even named it correctly.
That's how I discovered this song, awesome!
That also how I arrived here, have to say, really not my thing.
@@TreVader1378 i agree. they seem way more thrashy in this instance. loved their appearance in the show. but not the death metal im used to.
I had gone off death metal for about a decade. This song brought me back.
this is thrash bro
In thrash we trust 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Ben is just freaking awesome. I've at least said hello to him every concert I've attended. Starting way back in the 90's in San Diego, with Soilent Green. He is always sweating his ass off in the merch booth. This song sounds more thrashy, but still decent.
Ian Vickrey I've met Ben several times, he never seems to mind making time to say hello to fans
Yeah u sucked him off aswell?
I miss Acid Bath
Polyfusia we all do

Who would have thought I would discover a decent metal band watching Elementary. Sick song!
Just saw these guys in concert Saturday in NOLA... Didn't know who they were - and now I can't stop listening!
Hardest working bad in metal and best live metal band! So much power and energy!
1 of best metal songs on TH-cam period
Senator Morra brought me here.
Seen them unintentionally live twice, as in they opened for other bands i'd gone to see, and both times they left me thoroughly impressed. Solid live act.
Thanks for the show tonight guys and for actually hanging out with us!!!
Always a Celtic Frost break beat...thus why I love them.

it's almost like if Judas Priest was extreme
Sounds like Sodom

I hear Celtic Frost influences in sammys riffs
Your comparation makes 0 sense.
@@Z4J3B4NT bro i wrote this 7 years ago
Is it just me or this band sounds more Heavy/Thrash Metal with every album that they release?
Lots of grove too.
I just love how this band doesn't try too hard. They just write groovy heavy fucking thrash metal.
I liked them more when they were more Black/Death oriented, but they are still good now

the most organic rock n roll black metal band around.... been a long time fan of them!
Seems like GW combined every Metal genre they were influenced by into one song.
Love this song\mmm/
