7:29 I was definitely hoping for that smile 😂😂and that cow in the back looks really 😡 at her. That kitchen for the calves, I like it so much and big thumbs-up for the "Heart of the Warrior "👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍keep it up & country 💕❤💖
On your split post. On the farm I have used 1/2” redi rod with some large OD washers to pull it back together until it can be replaced. 1 redi rod 2” above and below each hinge bolt. Tighten evenly until solid. Cut off extra to protect the cows.
Enjoy watching the day to day goings on at your place good and bad. As nobody is perfect and accidents happen. Glad to see the kids involved and working teaches good work ethics. Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work!!!👍👍😀
That was funny......sometimes the baby's have shipping fever or worms or both-my sister raised cows for a living. She had a little red cow that she got as a calf, she was sick. She bottle fed her, but she thought she was going to die, so she ended up having to give her a shot of antibiotics. She did live & she threw really good calves!. Have helped w/filling the water troughs, feeding & giving shots to them by putting them in the cattle shoot & putting a board behind the cow & giving the shot from higher up, climbing the cattle shoot.
My grandpa had a corner post split where the hanging brackets screwed in, we temporarily used a banding machine and the gate worked like new, I don't think he ever changed the timber.....
I love to feed calves and raise hogs from bottles. I should have stayed on the farm it is the way I was raised. But asthma made me look else where for work.
Jessie Goss I get asthma about as bad as it can be from hayfever, but I have discovered local raw honey helps me. It helps me so much it is almost like I don't have hayfever, and the asthma attacks I would get too! Local Raw Honey Might help you to maybe.
I know a great attorney that can represent McKenzie! Don't say anything with out legal representation. If the tractor don't fit, you must acquit! Thanks for the video.
Sense Period instead of comma Experience Challenges Second sentence is an incomplete statement, and should at the very least end with a period. Farm kids may learn common sense, but don’t neglect knowledge in their education. Also, the capitalized emphasis is unnecessary and misplaced. The “BIG CITY” might be alright if you roll your eyes at the same time.
I was thinking dang they aren't worried about what could be a major repair and the fact that she didn't say anything as i would have been bin in big trouble then i seen it growing up on a farm wouldn't have wood in a building like that if it wasn't a simple fix my guess a pocket the post drops into so lining the holes up to be drilled and sliding the gate in is hardest part mistakes happen aslong as you learn your lesson your getting somewhere
Don't worry Mackenzie a little duct tape and bailing wire and some zip ties she'll be good as new and some paint and maybe a new post and some determination and a few other odds and ends and it will all be good
Mackenzie.. Wtg.. Split that sucker right down the middle... ^5... And Bare foot?? You get a ^5 There to.. I milked alot of cows bare foot my self when i was younger..
@@acresofclayhomestead use seem to have at lot of machinery for the number of cows use are milking. I didn't think small dairy farms existed in the US anymore I'm from Ireland btw.
People who don’t do anything, don’t break anything. Wow, impressive group of talented, good spirited, hard working, smart kids.
What a remarkable family you all are. Hardworking honest. You are an example of goodness for all of us. Thanks
Cattle work is never done, always something to fix, or doctor, you have to love it 👍👍🐂🐄

Looks like a few carriage bolts would do the trick on the post. Great video.
My youngest daughter gives me the same expression when she fesses up. :-D must be a universal expression among younger girls.
Nice bull and at least she didn’t bring part of the barn down:).

That's a great idea! Thanks for watching!

Nice 👍🏿 family
That’s what I do, don’t tell nobody till they find out
Your lab has a sore front foot. Love baby calves
I'd wrap a ratchet strap around the post and sink some long lag bolts into it clear down to the bottom
Wow😍😍

I have four brothers about 14 months apart and when dad found one of his tools outs we all said I didn't do it 😄
Once she helps replace it. She will be a little more careful around poles
Oops! Didn't mean to do that!!!!
She was trying to help. :)
Thank you for sharing and God bless.
I agree 100%
Hi just found you on TH-cam it’s nice to see families working together thanks for sharing 👍👍👍🇬🇧
Thank You for watching!!
Spent many happy hours sucking calves with a bucket and my fingers in the 1950’s I was 14 you can work the rest. It was a great time

LOL!
I just started watching your videos how many cows do you have got to give the kids a break sometimes lol
We are milking between 180 -190 head at this time. Thank You for watching!
Same look my 6 year old daughter gives me when she breaks things.
Betcha if you put a boatload of glue in the split and banded the oost with some webbing and 'come-alongs' it could be fixed.
How can you get mad at a face so pretty?
I like it ..to much......so , 1000 likes from me! I even fell the smell of the ...Environment\ Thank you|!
Love You Guys
She's cute, so she's forgiven.
cows look good.
Put a bunch of hose clamps around it. lol

Lol, nothing that a quart of wood glue and 8 big C- clamps can't fix left to dry overnight. :)
I am still shaking, I was trailed by a black bear !!
Was that her older brother that blew her in???? Wow! lol Just lag bolt it back together
Aw your baby cow was Soo cute I'm love your cow so mcuh
My question is where do you get your beef do you purchase your own beef
never mind she broke it, how old is that boy driving? is there an age limit? he showing her up
i like your video
I've had to feed like that a lot
Can't you just lag bolt it back together?
Not sure that lags would hold it for very long. Best to just replace the pole.
@@acresofclayhomestead Aw don't call her a pole. Or replace her.

I work on a dairy farm my self and feed calfs and milk cows u frezz the coloserm in case I need it a cow don't have a nuff for a calf
No, we don't freeze any colostrum, if one mom doesn't have enough we will milk another new mom to supplement.
Now I know why the kids respect you.
MACKENZIE STRIKES AGAIN!!!!
That was a pretty hit bust a pole down the middle but shit happens.
Old doggo is old, my old boy has went deaf and just wants to be left alone these days
These think happen
👏
That can be fixed with a couple of lag bolts with nuts and washers. Not the end of the world.!
There's no denying that Syndey and Sanders are related. (Sorry if I spelt it wrong)
At least she didn’t do like it did with my sister I barrowed her cowgirl boots I got stuck in the mud while feeding cows and lost her boots in the mud
I'm sure she wasn't happy with you!!
Acres of Clay Homestead no she made me buy her some new ones
And she did the same to mine when I was sleeping
@@surcyfarms7225 oh no!!!!

ALL the time! :)
You will have to take out of her pay lol . Those calves are so cute .
Я ничего не понимаю, но думаю что вы это одна семья ?

Yes, we only do natural bull breeding. No AI.
