WOW as a former otr driver what I use to do is if I had multiple stops I always did the one that was the farthest away and worked my way to where I would end my day or in your case would be closest to your house

You should divide by the total number of minutes and then multiple by 60. therefore the cost per hour for this trip would be (36/70mins)x60 = $30.86 per hour. 1hr and 10 mins is not equal to 1.10 because there's only 60 mins in an hour and not 100. Hope this helps.

But the issue for me is driving to whichever location to get the retail delivery can take me 20 mins or so & then like u experienced I might have to deliver somewhere 45 mins away. If Amazon raised the rates it would be a lot better lol

I try to reroute also to end as close to my home. Unless its a priority delivery. I get deliveries to businesses that close early and thats an issue. I leave that package right at the door and keep moving.
@mostmost1 That's good that you can reroute the leliveries, but how do you do that on the app? What do you push or where do you go exactly on the app to reroute the deliveries? I didn't know you can do that.
@@girlygirl1890 you can touch the screen to zoom in or pan backwards. Once you do that , in the top left corner there are 3 lines that you can tap. Once you tap that you can see a list of all your stops and a Mao of all your stops. I click on the map in the middle and then cam see my car and every stop. Now you can choose any stop you want to travel to. You can start at the last or the middle. You can do this after every delivery. The app will try to send you to the first stop most times. So beware.

You can also pull the itinerary down slightly and use the scanner on the top right to scan a package and find where it is in your itinerary. Obviously you have to be mindful of delivery times; also, customers may be notified when you’re in the area or something like seven stops away, so I don’t like to switch it up more than necessary just in case they’re watching their package and get annoyed. I used to do it a lot because I wanted to deduct as many miles as possible, but then I started taking the home office option, so now it doesn’t matter because they all count.

The app tells you how many stops you have and what store. Once you go in there you scan the packages. I hope this helped!
