- Polish President Andrzej Duda has warned of an imminent war between Russia and NATO if Russia wins in Ukraine, claiming NATO views Russia as the greatest threat. He stressed that NATO is preparing for potential conflict despite being a defensive alliance. Poland has supported Ukraine with military aid and as a hub for Western weapons. Russia has dismissed these warnings, with Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov and President Putin calling them distractions and nonsense, asserting that NATO's support for Kyiv makes the alliance participants in the conflict.

This is absurd. Russia has no interest in anything except making sure there are no NATO counties bordering it, which makes a lot of sense to me. Sort of the way the U.S. felt about the Soviet Union having missiles in Cuba, ya know...

NATO wants to put missiles and troops facing Eastwards towards Russia certainly invokes the same paranoia the US felt when Russia pointed Missles toward the US from Cuba
