1. "The Score" - Fugees 2. American Idiot - Green Day 3. What's Going On - Marvin Gaye 4. I Want You - Marvin Gaye 5. Fulfillingness' First Finale - Stevie Wonder
My favourite album ever. I'm a 90s kid, when my friends were listening to Tupac and Biggie, this is what I was bopping. I bought it on vinyl, cassette, CD and downloaded it from iTunes. Next music consuming medium this will still be the first album I get.
@@Isaac_Leffler Stevie has made nearly 30 albums spanning the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s & 00s. But it's generally agreed he hit his artistic peak in the 70s. After 'Songs in the Key of Life' (1976), I would recommend 'Fullfillingness' First Finale' (1974), 'Talking Book' (1972), Innervisions (1973) and Music of My Mind (1972), All masterpieces.
Stevie Wonder changed my outlook on life in my early 20s. I didn't really feel like there was a point to life. I wasn't suicidal or anything but the day to day things just felt pointless. My friend let me borrow his uncle's Stevie collection after I heard a few songs that made me feel good. I spent the weekend listening to so many tracks. In a couple days, my outlook on life was completely altered to see the beauty that exist in life. I'm in my 40s now and I still appreciate Stevie Wonder and his music to this day for what it did for me back then, and still does for me when I need to be uplifted.
Songs in the key of life is most definitely one of the greatest albums ever made and rightfully won album of the year at the 1977 Grammy awards. So many artists was inspired by songs in the key of Life along with quite a few samples came from songs in the key of life. Stevie Wonder is a musical genius and he's so happens to be from my home State and Michigan. Fun fact: Stevie Wonder actually have a street named after him here in Detroit. Milwaukee Street is now known as Stevie Wonder Avenue, which is a mile away from the Motown Museum where Motown records operated from the late fifties until the early 70s.
@@Isaac_Leffler yes it sure is. The street was officially change to Stevie Wonder Avenue just a few years ago and Stevie was here for the ceremony. It's also pretty cool that the street is around the corner from not only the Motown Museum where he along with the Motown artists at that time made their music, but it's also not too far from his childhood home.
Great songs & reaction/review! Stevie Wonder had a “classic period”, a 5-album run that started from 1972-1976. The albums in order are Music of My Mind, Talking Book, Innervisions, Fufillingness’ First Finale, & Songs in the Key of Life. Would be cool if you went through them. Thanks for reacting to amazing music! I’ll keep watching your channel!!
first off I am glad you enjoyed the video, second, I will add those albums to my list thank you for the recommendations I will do my best to work through them!
@@Isaac_Leffler To add to Seek's fact Innervisions, Fulfillingness First Finale, and Songs in the Key of Life won Album of The Year, consecutively. He is the only artist to achieve this feat.
Thank you for watching! If you have any album recommendations please leave them below and I will get to them ASAP!
