Montefiore hospital and the pulsing red obstruction lights on it's antenna looms over gun hill. I can see the zoo from pelham, what fun seeing those wonders of nature for the first time. I remember when I was knee high, in awe at the murals in the tunnel, my grandma would tell me all about the lions, tigers and bears. When the sun went down and the orange streetlights bathed the pavement, her snake grass and monstera would cast their shadows on the hardwood. When it would rain you could smell the ozone evaporate off the asphalt.
Just bought the last cassette copy. Grateful now because I seriously thought I was dead for a moment there dude. Like I waited for that to come out on tape so it would BE my very first to start my collection. Didn't plan on being the last purchase but man I'm sooo fucking happy once I get this in my hands.
