    Quick heads up, if you don't mind spending more than me, you can get these shoes in 9 different colors over at Amazon as of December of 2022. To clean them off you can wipe them down with a damp cloth.

    In-depth review that I appreciate. Was looking for a terrain shoe that would grip on grass and I’ve found it thank you for the review. Keep up the fantastic work. I’m looking forward to running with dirt tyres in my feet lol

    Agree with the Moab comments. Started out pretty good then changed out the insoles and they are still uncomfortable. Thanks for sharing, I'll have to check these out.

    Welcome to Footwear, Warehouse Clubs, and more.....
    Sharing your experience with footwear can be helpful for someone who does similar things and wants quality. Fair review of the pros and cons. You covered the characteristics of a shoe or boot designed for hiking. These are not for hiking or jogging on a paved trail. Investing in a second pair to show new vs. 90 days of use was a good idea.

    Just stumbled on this review. Question. How stiff or flexible is the sole? Would it fair ok for hybrid use, occasional hiking and mainly MTB cycling (platform pedals) ?

    • @travisp11
      @travisp11  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say that these soles provide a decent middle ground for rigidity/flexibility vs. comfort. The soles outside are a bit stiffer than say, Nike Zoom Air or Nike Pegasus shoes but less firm or rigid than a pair or Keens/Merrels. They do have their lugs on the bottom which may or may not work well with your bike pedals but in general, I wear the Esape Plans all over the place. The lugs do wear quickly on concrete but on the other end, Sam's club usually has them for $40 or less so whenever the front soles of mine wear down, they just perform as daily beaters and I pick up another pair for actual trail or winter use. The water proofing and the aggressive soles might make nice biking shoes for if/when you want to do some trail hiking.

    I currently wear a pair of Nike Venture runners and take a UK size 9. What size would you recommend I go for with these? Seen them relatively cheap on Amazon and was thinking of getting a pair for walking/hiking, just don't know what size to get...

    • @travisp11
      @travisp11  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Mine seem to fit true to size. I would say order your regular size.

    • @travisp11
      @travisp11  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can wear it as a casual sneaker but concrete and hard, uniform surfaces will wear the cleats down quick.

  • @000pdh

    Is it comfortable for daily use or would you suggest something else in the same budget?

    • @travisp11
      @travisp11  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I wear these daily to walk the dog in the morning and at night. Just remember that the cleats will wear down quickly on hard surfaces. They take a week of daily wear to break in but I love them.

    *Hello, I live in Istanbul, Turkey. I saw these shoes on amazon site. My toes are a little problematic. My doctor recommended shoes with high soles and wide shoes. I have narrow and wide feet. Is this shoe wide at the front toe?*

    My experience has been poor with these trainers. I bought a pair after watching your review and can say that they are ruined after 7 months of wear, the sole has worn down drastically and the upper has really stretched. These are not hard wearing trail shoes at all.

    • @travisp11
      @travisp11  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, I get 6 months of use out of a pair. Mine don’t stretch but my feet aren’t wide.

      Not on the linoleum floor of where I work but they do squeak a bit when wet or when the soles are right out of the box but that disappears quick

      Loose rock or packed trail running, yes. Concrete sidewalk running, no. Pavement smoothes out the cleats pretty quickly.
