I like the idea of it being Saint Peter because I think it's nice that someone is looking out for the souls, but tragic that one of them doesn't want to be there. They just want revenge and will do anything to get it, even if they are making the other souls suffer as well.
Oh, wow... I'm not religious, so the St Peter comparison probably never would have occurred to me, but I love that. It works so well, and there is a bittersweet sort of beauty to it. I always took him as some kind of entity actually abstracting the consequences of it all, but the fisher of men angle is so... pretty? Idk how else to put it, it's pretty and it works and I think I've found a new headcanon. The angry soul keeps flinging itself into the red lake again and again, going back to torment Afton and therefor also trapping and tormenting itself. It makes too much sense.

The original title was fine but the word “predator” has extra connotations connected to the word that aren’t the same as used in this context. Pair that with TH-cam’s censorship of the other word and you have a major issue when conveying a point to a general audience.
And from what Scott said about the miscommunication through Steel Wool, it could've been like he said to have a Cassidy reference somewhere and it ended up in the wrong place.
I always thought Old Man Consequences was an older animatronic or the remaining programming of an older animatronic we haven't seen before that witnessed everything. This is actually common in stories, like the G-man in Half Life. I will admit him appearing as an old king kinda throws a wrench in my theory, but it could just be a form the animatronic subconsciously chose to appear more friendly to the player character instead of the broken mouth bear, crocodile... Thing.
To me, Old Man Consequences was just an angelic guardian trying to speak some sense into Cassidy during UCN. Nothing too deep or complex. Just someone trying to help angry souls rest and only getting involved when absolutely necessary.

Old man consequences could possibly be some kind of manifestation of agony himself. 3. Old man consequences could be a video game character who is being reused in princess quest. 4. I don't have mush to say about this topic, but another great dive into a topic that usually goes unnoticed by most. In my opinion, you give some of the most comprehensive video essays and theories I've seen. Edit: Hearing you talk about how OMC is a lot like St Peter just makes so much sense. I feel like that's the best fit for a real world connection. But in all honesty, OMC could just be... a guy. No connections to real world events or beliefs. Just a guy who wants a tormented spirit to move on. Maybe he knows what it's like to be that tormented spirit, maybe he was once one himself. And maybe that's why he's where he is now, unable to escape. He wanted to hurt whoever hurt him, but when he wanted to move on, it was too late. Maybe he's trying to help the other spirits from suffering the same fate. I don't know, though. Just some offhanded theories.

Alternative identity to OMC: Consequences comes from the Latin consequentia, meaning “a succession of events, a logical outcome, or a necessary sequence.” And the first and third specifically allude to the flow of time. OMC speaks to you in a very paternal, mentorly tone, and even resembles a grandfatherly figure when in humanoid form. While somewhat dated, you might refer to your father or grandfather as your “old man”. Putting these together, what if “Old Man Consequences”, was really just Father Time? That could explain why he can simultaneously “turn back time” to fish you out of the infinitely looping void, and how he can trap William Afton in an endless torture room. You can even tie in the crocodile/alligator head to mythos too. The Leviathan (described in the book of Job as a fire-breathing crocodile, is similar to the Midgard Serpent). (Side note, perhaps the fire-breathing Leviation represents the aforementioned lake of fire, the fire Afton burns in, and while the OMC lake is red.) Anyway, the Midgard Serpent, aka Jörmungander, is said to represent fate and destiny. Jörmungander literally consumes time, and it biting its tail (Ouroboros) is said to bring about Ragnarök, the beginning of the end. So, representing Father Time with a crocodilian of serpentine head could evoke the idea of waiting around, passing time, until the end of days… hence the fishing
The question of "who is Old man Consequences?" Is one of the few parts of the fnaf timeline that I haven't found a theory I believed in enough to add to my own personal fnaf timeline.
Imo, Old Man Consequences could probably be a manifestation of something or someone, though who or what is something that probably won't get answered anytime soon unless they find a way to include it in the midst of the new story FNAF is moving towards
I’ve always seen OMC and his lake as a sort of purgatory, since in fnaf world when you talk to him you just sit there forever until the game is closed, and despite me not knowing the king in princess quest is OMC, I think it still fits with him biding his time with afton, and maybe the drowning ending is representative of the spirits passing on, finally finding peace, both representing the angel, and the idea of an older person and two kids, possibly being Michael, Emily, and CC
One my favorite things that's been done with Old Man Consequences is in the fan game "The Web of Cogs & Oil" (pretty sure that's a quote from the books lol). Basically, he actually has a physical appearance in that game, but unlike most fan-made OMC models where its just a red gator, he's an abomination of wires that just so happens to resemble his 8-bit form. The idea OMC has a physical manifestation that's thw FNAF equivelent of an eldritch horror is such a cool idea. Its honestly a really awesome fan model, which FNAF has a ton of. But anyways, Old Man Consequences is a cool character. Definitely one of my favs from FNAF World. I never knew he made appearances in the more recent games.

To me, OMC is less a specific figure or person, but rather more just a representation of some spiritual idea/force. When I think about it, he exists to "fish up" restless souls & to get them to rest. He can't force them too, nor can he intervene in major ways. (Also, I imagine his focus would be left to lost souls, explaining why he wouldn't just kill Glitchtrap himself) So basically, he is just a force represening endings, which does line up with his apperances (End of the code, Trying to get the restless souls to end their attempts at revenge, the end of Glitchtrap). Perhaps his role is just to encourage endings, explaining his actions in Princess Quest 2 (Although that's also the one moment I'm less sure of how to place, considering how different it is)?? I haven't updated myself on the FNAF lore in a long time so my apologies if I'm missing some major piece of the puzzle lol EDIT: Also I love your St. Peter theory, & it actually lines up super well... it would be super interesting to see
Hey notreal, something that I’ve been thinking about is that in help wanted we learn about a game development company called Silver Parasol who have a white rabbit mascot on their logo, and were introduced to Vanny: a white rabbit lady, also Fazbear Entertainment have the VANNI Mask unit along with posters of it, so is it possible that before Vanessa or glitchtrap/mimic that Vanny started out as just a simple mascot character much like how Freddy is the mascot for Faz-Ent, and seeing how Vanny has a whole AI Neural Network System named after her would it be possible to say that Vanny could be some kind of AI that possesses Vanessa, that would technically make them 2 separate people despite sharing the same body at the time, Ryetoast also made a theory based on the B7-2 story: basically when a Persona/Consciousness is created in the mind of a already existing person that 2nd consciousness can be removed from said person and still exist all on its own but will most likely try to find its original host body or a new host body, he makes the idea that when Gregory played Princess Quest 3 instead of getting rid of Vanny all it did was separate her from Vanessa’s mind and body and trapped her inside either the VANNI mask or princess quest 4 and now she finds a new host in Cassie. Old man consequences is one of my fav fnaf characters, like easily top 3 (for me) and I’ve drawn him a lot but strangely I’ve never drawn him as an animal or a gator? He’s an old man, an old man who’s fishing. I just draw him as a man with a very long beard and a very wide straw brimmed hat, and sometimes a pipe. I’ve always interpreted him as a “collective unconscious” type thing, so he is not just the dead souls but everyone who was affected by this tragedy he’s all of them but as a singular entity. When something traumatic happens a very normal response is to ignore it and avoid discussions of it, instead of watching the souls (parts of himself) engage in the suffering more he just begs them (himself) to leave it alone and rest, it’s a warning but also a cry for help.
I've made this comment elsewhere on the channel, but I do like how characters like Eleanor and OMC kinda hint at a much larger world that all the fnaf victims happen to be on the periphery of, like all the soul shenanigannery is our peak into something much bigger just below the surface.

I often imagined Old Man Consequences to be an endo skeleton in FNAF WORLD. like it's the consequences of going too deep, past the animal exterior of the animatronics and more to the bone of of it all.
I need to find it again, but I swear I recall Scott mentioning that he didn't incorporate his faith into any of the FNAF games. I think it was mentioned because people kept trying to read into the games from that lense because of his past games, so he cleared it up. I'll try to dig it up.
Old Man Consequences is one of my favorite mysterious characters of all time. Personally, I believe OMC is William Afton’s father. I think he was the founder of Fredbear’s Singing Show and the creator of Fredbear, which sparks William into recreating Fredbear’s into a Fallfest event and then form an animatronic pizzeria franchise to honor his legacy. But with a little background, OMC spend most of his time grieving due to William not having a mother (probably dead) and this led OMC to neglect William, this led Willy to be represented into a cornered rat trying to fight for his life. But as an adult, William is now a cunning narcissistic who wants to honor the company as his own legacy instead of his father’s. I could see it as Willy wants a family because OMC never got the time to give William love, and now OMC ends up fishing with William going off as an adult. One thing I want to add is Dads love fishing! I really don’t know how he end up in there, but I believe he somehow died by drowning in a lake he fished for a long time. I could see his role to be a person guiding the souls to the afterlife. And I personally believe Nightmarionne is the embodiment of OMC and William’s agony, more of taking the role as the Grim Reaper in this case of scenario. With FNAF World, I see this as OMC telling BV that this is how deep he can get with his memories and that his friends are waiting for his Happiest Day. I believe that UNC’s DrownBear is a separate entity from World’s DrownBear. I see UCN to be OMC watching William being mocked and tortured for all of the actions he has done and decided to tell Vengeful Spirit to just rest and move on because they couldn’t achieve anything with torturing Afton for their satisfaction. So with this, Vengeful Spirit decided to drown themselves to leave Afton to the demons he had created. With PQ and the modern lore, I see this as Glitchtrap ends up contacting Nightmarionne and ends up forming William’s UCN as his own virus. So in some nutshell: the VR/AR realm probably has remnant as its power and is connected to the Flipside. So this led OMC to come back as a king and create the Princess with the remains from the lake (DrownBear). Ironically, William is British and if OMC is his father, then OMC is depicting himself as an English king. So with PQ, OMC is probably wanting Bonnie Bro to free Gregory and Vanessa with Gregory now freeing Vanessa. And with HW2, I believe OMC was capable to use Nightmarionne to capture Glitchtrap and give him to Bonnie Bro so that Vanessa can delete him for good. I want to add this out but in Fazbear Frights, William ends up drowning in a lake which ends up being William’s final death. And given how you said OMC’s lake is like the lake of fire, which is a second hell; I could see Afton’s demise in Frights to be him going to the lake of fire. Which made him go back to UCN as his second hell. Thats just my thought process, and I think it makes it way more satisfying for me. I see OMC as the one who’s the creator of Fazbear and is the one who wields the sanctuary as Heaven and UCN as Hell. With the Bible thing, I could imagine OMC as a God parallel with William Afton as the Devil. I think Nightmarionne fits as the Grim Reaper who’s a message from OMC and warn William about the consequences he’ll end up creating just like his father. Weird Note on Princess Quest; if you pay attention to land marks and rooms seen in the Princess Quest mini games in security breach, they map out Cassie's journey to shutdown the security nodes in Ruin. Wonder why that was.
I have thought that OMC is a psychopomp of some description for quite a while. For those unaware, psychopomp is the blanket term for beings responsible for guiding the dead to their afterlife. The Grim Reaper being the most widely known example in pop culture.
Just t9o clarify as this point was raised in the video, the description of the Leviathan as a "crocodile" is related to the Hebrew source, which uses the word Tanin (modernly used to describe "crocodile") to describe enormous sea monsters. Leviathan was also described as a "snake" and is often described as a sea serpent in literature and imagery as it is a more defining trait of his. So yeah, there is a connection between a crocodile and the Leviathan, but it is loose, and is likely not related to OMC (as you mention, it was a weak possibility, but being a mythology nerd I had to mention it :P). There's also a theory that OMC is not a crocodile, but that due to the low resolution it is confused as such, and his head is in fact a Foxy mask, but that's a whole other can of worms.

I like the devil theory. The name kinda sounds similar to colloquial terms for him I've heard of, and implies that he is the consequences for the life you've led. Just that he seems the kind of devil that recognizes when you aren't where you should be
A theory that I do like (but doesn't fit as much as the St. Peter one) is that OMC could be Henry's soul, still watching over of the children's souls in death while keeping William at bay. But yeah, it doesn't align very well with the whole "FNAF WORLD takes place around FNAF 3". The whole "I know what's going on but do not want to intervene" is quite cohesive to Henry's character. He considers his "duty" is to protect others from William and try to calm the vengeful spirit for it to finally move on. When Glitchtrap becomes a serious threat, he tries to seal it because his "main" focus is for it not to spread, not to destroy it. Also, I don't particulary think that him handing over the GlitchTrap plushie is a power move. I mean, Vanessa finds a similar plushie in HW1 DLC if I remember correctly. It could just be a form GlitchTrap takes when it is "dormant" or something.
I really do wish that Old Man Consequences is not tied to a past human character like Henry, Michael or the Phone Guy. I don’t know, something about that seems like it would cheapen his mystique and make him know far too much for him to just sit there and watch. Of course, yes, you said grief could be why he wouldn’t intervene, but if OMC was once a person who witnessed Afton’s evil firsthand, it makes him come across as callous or even bitterly negligent. And hell, I think we’ve had enough gross negligence at play in this franchise. Also, a semi-joking idea, because I cannot let my gator boy go, but what if OMC had a connection or is a projection with Monty. OMC has his one chance to directly intervene with the outside world and make things right. And what does he do? IT’S RABBIT SEASON. (which sort of ties to my small theory about Glamrock Bonnie being the first vessel for Glitchtrap before he corrupts everyone in the Pizzaplex and gets a crummy vessel in Burntrap) But it backfires, people get angry, Monty is made a mockery of by “incriminating evidence” in arcade machines and bowling animations, and as punishment, he is reduced to a snarling scapegoat. And so, Old Man Consequences never tries to intervene in the real world again.
Oh, the poem at the end was so beautiful! Thank you for the video, I like the theory that OMC could be St. Peter. It makes total sense, and, not to insult St. Peter, but his inclusion could be more discrete than a major one like God or the Devil. I think he's a reaper of sorts. He only intervenes if a soul evades their dues. Afton was bound for death already, no need to intervene. However, when Glitchtrap came around, Afton was either literally or effectively still alive with no expiry date, so he began to intervene.
This is gonna be a long comment cuz I think OMC is neat and I really like the video. I like the idea that OMC is the fnaf universe version of the grim reaper. It would explain his limitations in the story despite being so powerful. Simply collecting the souls of those who died, but perhaps not being able to force them to move on from their death, only encouraging them to do so. Following a set of rules, and only being able to enact his power when allowed. Furthermore, if OMC is being depicted as a crocodile, there are a lot of parallels that can be made from the elements seen in the fnaf games and how the animal is represented. Crocodiles are depicted in a lot of mythologies as sort of grim reaper figures, especially in Egyptian culture; having both the gods/spiritual figures, Sobek and Ammit. Both who are generally tasked with guiding the dead to the afterlife, or judging the dead for their actions and what outcome is in store. Of course there is the association of bodies of water and crocodiles. That being their dwelling and where they hunt their prey - similar to how OMC seemingly fishes for lost souls. Crocodiles are also considered as "living fossils", as they have been around for 250 million years and I like to think that can be attributed to his namesake, as he's seen many forms of life rise and fall. Crocodiles (specifically saltwater crocodiles) also have the strongest bite force of any animal, and in fnaf where bites have a big significance, I think it’s a fun element worth pointing it out. Lastly, the fact that somehow in the middle of Utah, the crazy events of fnaf manage to catch even death’s own attention and OMC just going "The hell they're doing over there?”, is just a really funny concept to me.
I might be changing the title soon because apparently it's giving the wrong impression. XD I meant predator as in a predator animal, a la a crocodile. Haven't decided on one yet though but working on it!

I like the idea of it being Saint Peter because I think it's nice that someone is looking out for the souls, but tragic that one of them doesn't want to be there. They just want revenge and will do anything to get it, even if they are making the other souls suffer as well.
Oh, wow... I'm not religious, so the St Peter comparison probably never would have occurred to me, but I love that. It works so well, and there is a bittersweet sort of beauty to it. I always took him as some kind of entity actually abstracting the consequences of it all, but the fisher of men angle is so... pretty? Idk how else to put it, it's pretty and it works and I think I've found a new headcanon. The angry soul keeps flinging itself into the red lake again and again, going back to torment Afton and therefor also trapping and tormenting itself. It makes too much sense.

I always thought Old Man Consequences was an older animatronic or the remaining programming of an older animatronic we haven't seen before that witnessed everything. This is actually common in stories, like the G-man in Half Life. I will admit him appearing as an old king kinda throws a wrench in my theory, but it could just be a form the animatronic subconsciously chose to appear more friendly to the player character instead of the broken mouth bear, crocodile... Thing.
To me, Old Man Consequences was just an angelic guardian trying to speak some sense into Cassidy during UCN. Nothing too deep or complex. Just someone trying to help angry souls rest and only getting involved when absolutely necessary.

Edit: Hearing you talk about how OMC is a lot like St Peter just makes so much sense. I feel like that's the best fit for a real world connection. But in all honesty, OMC could just be... a guy. No connections to real world events or beliefs. Just a guy who wants a tormented spirit to move on. Maybe he knows what it's like to be that tormented spirit, maybe he was once one himself. And maybe that's why he's where he is now, unable to escape. He wanted to hurt whoever hurt him, but when he wanted to move on, it was too late. I'm not so sure that the lake is meant to be literally red. Just that the entire scene is rendered in a minimalist single-color Atari style for the player/audience
Alternative identity to OMC: Consequences comes from the Latin consequentia, meaning “a succession of events, a logical outcome, or a necessary sequence.” And the first and third specifically allude to the flow of time.
OMC speaks to you in a very paternal, mentorly tone, and even resembles a grandfatherly figure when in humanoid form. While somewhat dated, you might refer to your father or grandfather as your “old man”.
Putting these together, what if “Old Man Consequences”, was really just Father Time? That could explain why he can simultaneously “turn back time” to fish you out of the infinitely looping void, and how he can trap William Afton in an endless torture room.
You can even tie in the crocodile/alligator head to mythos too. The Leviathan (described in the book of Job as a fire-breathing crocodile, is similar to the Midgard Serpent). (Side note, perhaps the fire-breathing Leviation represents the aforementioned lake of fire, the fire Afton burns in, and while the OMC lake is red.) Anyway, the Midgard Serpent, aka Jörmungander, is said to represent fate and destiny. Jörmungander literally consumes time, and it biting its tail (Ouroboros) is said to bring about Ragnarök, the beginning of the end.
So, representing Father Time with a crocodilian of serpentine head could evoke the idea of waiting around, passing time, until the end of days… hence the fishing

The question of "who is Old man Consequences?" Is one of the few parts of the fnaf timeline that I haven't found a theory I believed in enough to add to my own personal fnaf timeline.
Imo, Old Man Consequences could probably be a manifestation of something or someone, though who or what is something that probably won't get answered anytime soon unless they find a way to include it in the midst of the new story FNAF is moving towards
I’ve always seen OMC and his lake as a sort of purgatory, since in fnaf world when you talk to him you just sit there forever until the game is closed, and despite me not knowing the king in princess quest is OMC, I think it still fits with him biding his time with afton, and maybe the drowning ending is representative of the spirits passing on, finally finding peace, both representing the angel, and the idea of an older person and two kids, possibly being Michael, Emily, and CC
One my favorite things that's been done with Old Man Consequences is in the fan game "The Web of Cogs & Oil" (pretty sure that's a quote from the books lol). Basically, he actually has a physical appearance in that game, but unlike most fan-made OMC models where its just a red gator, he's an abomination of wires that just so happens to resemble his 8-bit form. The idea OMC has a physical manifestation that's thw FNAF equivelent of an eldritch horror is such a cool idea. Its honestly a really awesome fan model, which FNAF has a ton of.
But anyways, Old Man Consequences is a cool character. Definitely one of my favs from FNAF World. I never knew he made appearances in the more recent games.

To me, OMC is less a specific figure or person, but rather more just a representation of some spiritual idea/force. When I think about it, he exists to "fish up" restless souls & to get them to rest. He can't force them too, nor can he intervene in major ways. (Also, I imagine his focus would be left to lost souls, explaining why he wouldn't just kill Glitchtrap himself) So basically, he is just a force represening endings, which does line up with his apperances (End of the code, Trying to get the restless souls to end their attempts at revenge, the end of Glitchtrap). Perhaps his role is just to encourage endings, explaining his actions in Princess Quest 2 (Although that's also the one moment I'm less sure of how to place, considering how different it is)?? I haven't updated myself on the FNAF lore in a long time so my apologies if I'm missing some major piece of the puzzle lol

Hey notreal, something that I’ve been thinking about is that in help wanted we learn about a game development company called Silver Parasol who have a white rabbit mascot on their logo, and were introduced to Vanny: a white rabbit lady, also Fazbear Entertainment have the VANNI Mask unit along with posters of it, so is it possible that before Vanessa or glitchtrap/mimic that Vanny started out as just a simple mascot character much like how Freddy is the mascot for Faz-Ent, and seeing how Vanny has a whole AI Neural Network System named after her would it be possible to say that Vanny could be some kind of AI that possesses Vanessa, that would technically make them 2 separate people despite sharing the same body at the time, Ryetoast also made a theory based on the B7-2 story: basically when a Persona/Consciousness is created in the mind of a already existing person that 2nd consciousness can be removed from said person and still exist all on its own but will most likely try to find its original host body or a new host body, he makes the idea that when Gregory played Princess Quest 3 instead of getting rid of Vanny all it did was separate her from Vanessa’s mind and body and trapped her inside either the VANNI mask or princess quest 4 and now she finds a new host in Cassie.

I love the idea that old man consequences is a spiritual entity, that has the job to watch the splitting between the spirit world. He only appears in the spiritual/real world combinations
Old man consequences is one of my fav fnaf characters, like easily top 3 (for me) and I’ve drawn him a lot but strangely I’ve never drawn him as an animal or a gator? He’s an old man, an old man who’s fishing. I just draw him as a man with a very long beard and a very wide straw brimmed hat, and sometimes a pipe.
I’ve always interpreted him as a “collective unconscious” type thing, so he is not just the dead souls but everyone who was affected by this tragedy he’s all of them but as a singular entity. When something traumatic happens a very normal response is to ignore it and avoid discussions of it, instead of watching the souls (parts of himself) engage in the suffering more he just begs them (himself) to leave it alone and rest, it’s a warning but also a cry for help.
I've made this comment elsewhere on the channel, but I do like how characters like Eleanor and OMC kinda hint at a much larger world that all the fnaf victims happen to be on the periphery of, like all the soul shenanigannery is our peak into something much bigger just below the surface.

I often imagined Old Man Consequences to be an endo skeleton in FNAF WORLD. like it's the consequences of going too deep, past the animal exterior of the animatronics and more to the bone of of it all.

I need to find it again, but I swear I recall Scott mentioning that he didn't incorporate his faith into any of the FNAF games. I think it was mentioned because people kept trying to read into the games from that lense because of his past games, so he cleared it up. I'll try to dig it up.
Old Man Consequences is one of my favorite mysterious characters of all time. Personally, I believe OMC is William Afton’s father.
I think he was the founder of Fredbear’s Singing Show and the creator of Fredbear, which sparks William into recreating Fredbear’s into a Fallfest event and then form an animatronic pizzeria franchise to honor his legacy. But with a little background, OMC spend most of his time grieving due to William not having a mother (probably dead) and this led OMC to neglect William, this led Willy to be represented into a cornered rat trying to fight for his life. But as an adult, William is now a cunning narcissistic who wants to honor the company as his own legacy instead of his father’s. I could see it as Willy wants a family because OMC never got the time to give William love, and now OMC ends up fishing with William going off as an adult. One thing I want to add is Dads love fishing!
I really don’t know how he end up in there, but I believe he somehow died by drowning in a lake he fished for a long time.
I could see his role to be a person guiding the souls to the afterlife. And I personally believe Nightmarionne is the embodiment of OMC and William’s agony, more of taking the role as the Grim Reaper in this case of scenario.
With FNAF World, I see this as OMC telling BV that this is how deep he can get with his memories and that his friends are waiting for his Happiest Day. I believe that UNC’s DrownBear is a separate entity from World’s DrownBear. I see UCN to be OMC watching William being mocked and tortured for all of the actions he has done and decided to tell Vengeful Spirit to just rest and move on because they couldn’t achieve anything with torturing Afton for their satisfaction. So with this, Vengeful Spirit decided to drown themselves to leave Afton to the demons he had created.
With PQ and the modern lore, I see this as Glitchtrap ends up contacting Nightmarionne and ends up forming William’s UCN as his own virus. So in some nutshell: the VR/AR realm probably has remnant as its power and is connected to the Flipside.
So this led OMC to come back as a king and create the Princess with the remains from the lake (DrownBear). Ironically, William is British and if OMC is his father, then OMC is depicting himself as an English king.
So with PQ, OMC is probably wanting Bonnie Bro to free Gregory and Vanessa with Gregory now freeing Vanessa. And with HW2, I believe OMC was capable to use Nightmarionne to capture Glitchtrap and give him to Bonnie Bro so that Vanessa can delete him for good.
I want to add this out but in Fazbear Frights, William ends up drowning in a lake which ends up being William’s final death. And given how you said OMC’s lake is like the lake of fire, which is a second hell; I could see Afton’s demise in Frights to be him going to the lake of fire. Which made him go back to UCN as his second hell. Thats just my thought process, and I think it makes it way more satisfying for me.
I see OMC as the one who’s the creator of Fazbear and is the one who wields the sanctuary as Heaven and UCN as Hell. With the Bible thing, I could imagine OMC as a God parallel with William Afton as the Devil. I think Nightmarionne fits as the Grim Reaper who’s a message from OMC and warn William about the consequences he’ll end up creating just like his father. All I can say is that OMC is there, but it’s nice to see more insight on him.

Weird Note on Princess Quest; if you pay attention to land marks and rooms seen in the Princess Quest mini games in security breach, they map out Cassie's journey to shutdown the security nodes in Ruin. Wonder why that was.
I have thought that OMC is a psychopomp of some description for quite a while. For those unaware, psychopomp is the blanket term for beings responsible for guiding the dead to their afterlife. The Grim Reaper being the most widely known example in pop culture.

Just t9o clarify as this point was raised in the video, the description of the Leviathan as a "crocodile" is related to the Hebrew source, which uses the word Tanin (modernly used to describe "crocodile") to describe enormous sea monsters. Leviathan was also described as a "snake" and is often described as a sea serpent in literature and imagery as it is a more defining trait of his. So yeah, there is a connection between a crocodile and the Leviathan, but it is loose, and is likely not related to OMC (as you mention, it was a weak possibility, but being a mythology nerd I had to mention it :P). There's also a theory that OMC is not a crocodile, but that due to the low resolution it is confused as such, and his head is in fact a Foxy mask, but that's a whole other can of worms.
This video taught me that it is not in fact a common opinion that OMC is Henry, the more you know!

I like the devil theory. The name kinda sounds similar to colloquial terms for him I've heard of, and implies that he is the consequences for the life you've led. Just that he seems the kind of devil that recognizes when you aren't where you should be
A theory that I do like (but doesn't fit as much as the St. Peter one) is that OMC could be Henry's soul, still watching over of the children's souls in death while keeping William at bay.
But yeah, it doesn't align very well with the whole "FNAF WORLD takes place around FNAF 3".
The whole "I know what's going on but do not want to intervene" is quite cohesive to Henry's character. He considers his "duty" is to protect others from William and try to calm the vengeful spirit for it to finally move on. When Glitchtrap becomes a serious threat, he tries to seal it because his "main" focus is for it not to spread, not to destroy it.
Also, I don't particulary think that him handing over the GlitchTrap plushie is a power move. I mean, Vanessa finds a similar plushie in HW1 DLC if I remember correctly. It could just be a form GlitchTrap takes when it is "dormant" or something.
OMC is FNaF's version of the Grim Reaper just doing his job.

I really do wish that Old Man Consequences is not tied to a past human character like Henry, Michael or the Phone Guy. I don’t know, something about that seems like it would cheapen his mystique and make him know far too much for him to just sit there and watch.
Of course, yes, you said grief could be why he wouldn’t intervene, but if OMC was once a person who witnessed Afton’s evil firsthand, it makes him come across as callous or even bitterly negligent. And hell, I think we’ve had enough gross negligence at play in this franchise.
Also, a semi-joking idea, because I cannot let my gator boy go, but what if OMC had a connection or is a projection with Monty. OMC has his one chance to directly intervene with the outside world and make things right. And what does he do? IT’S RABBIT SEASON. (which sort of ties to my small theory about Glamrock Bonnie being the first vessel for Glitchtrap before he corrupts everyone in the Pizzaplex and gets a crummy vessel in Burntrap)
But it backfires, people get angry, Monty is made a mockery of by “incriminating evidence” in arcade machines and bowling animations, and as punishment, he is reduced to a snarling scapegoat.
And so, Old Man Consequences never tries to intervene in the real world again.

I think he's a reaper of sorts. He only intervenes if a soul evades their dues. Afton was bound for death already, no need to intervene. However, when Glitchtrap came around, Afton was either literally or effectively still alive with no expiry date, so he began to intervene.

This is gonna be a long comment cuz I think OMC is neat and I really like the video. I like the idea that OMC is the fnaf universe version of the grim reaper. It would explain his limitations in the story despite being so powerful. Simply collecting the souls of those who died, but perhaps not being able to force them to move on from their death, only encouraging them to do so. Following a set of rules, and only being able to enact his power when allowed. Furthermore, if OMC is being depicted as a crocodile, there are a lot of parallels that can be made from the elements seen in the fnaf games and how the animal is represented. Crocodiles are depicted in a lot of mythologies as sort of grim reaper figures, especially in Egyptian culture; having both the gods/spiritual figures, Sobek and Ammit. Both who are generally tasked with guiding the dead to the afterlife, or judging the dead for their actions and what outcome is in store. Of course there is the association of bodies of water and crocodiles. That being their dwelling and where they hunt their prey - similar to how OMC seemingly fishes for lost souls. Crocodiles are also considered as "living fossils", as they have been around for 250 million years and I like to think that can be attributed to his namesake, as he's seen many forms of life rise and fall. Crocodiles (specifically saltwater crocodiles) also have the strongest bite force of any animal, and in fnaf where bites have a big significance, I think it’s a fun element worth pointing it out. Lastly, the fact that somehow in the middle of Utah, the crazy events of fnaf manage to catch even death’s own attention and OMC just going "The hell they're doing over there?”, is just a really funny concept to me.
