Living With A BMW Z3 That Has A Supercharger!

Although I am partial to a track car.. I can't help but think this z3 would make a lovely car with some oem seats. I noticed something before in a photo when taylor had this car, I'm not sure how that harness is mounted to the car/ cage is it wrapped around the cage and tied in a knot? might just be me but it doesn't look safe... To take my kid out in the old track car I bought a poverty spec passenger seat and fitted OEM belt too. Not worth the risk using setups like this IMO that haven't been tested. Doesn't look as cool but kids lifes in your hands... Don't mean to sound negative the cars super cool but i think it would be even cooler without the cage and some vader e36 seats. I agree with the fact kids love a convertible too my boy loves our boxster with the roof off.

The seats may have to go. I would like some oem ones but the cage is the main issue. I don’t really want to remove it as it stiffens the structure of the car. Without it and it would be a baggy mess.
I’ll investigate seating options and see what fits. Just need to find some cheap oem seats that are thin enough to fit.

I wonder how it would compare to a boxster or a mx5. I've been wanting one for years, but I think i will get a boxster instead.

I think a boxster is a better drivers car, but higher running costs.
