The 98 - 98cm Flathead - Hastings River

Hunter and I went for another Flatty fish, this time with good mates Gary and Jack Randall. We ended up going one way (with the GoPro) and they went another (with an iPhone). We caught nothing and they ended up with a 98cm Hastings River croc! What a cracker!
Apparently it was fairly hectic on board the Randall tinny. The big lizard split a hole in the net and swum right through. The net had to be pulled up over the rod and reel and zip-tied up! Still managed to land the fish with the repaired net!
The big girl was safely released to make someone else’s day!
