I've always known that I should not give people as much credit as I do but I just can't get over how far we have fallen to not understand how ridiculous this Marxist ideology is. Mind boggeling to me.
We have lost our freedoms, the lockdowns and vaccine mandates coupled with brutal police actions has proved to us that our freedoms have been taken over by political parties and bureaucrats. Even the courts were complicit in the takeover. Australia is in desperate trouble.
@@tiburtiusbeethoven2185 I have been fully vaccinated and have 3 chronic lung conditions. You know sweet Fanny Adams about me so take your self righteous attitude and wipe your tears away with it. It is individual freedom and if you choose to get vaccinated that's good. It will not stop you transmitting the disease. It will only help me if I am vaccinated and that goes for the flu as well. If you seek that amount of control over people's lives then start with yourself and show some self control.
How was the philosophy of Western political identity formed in the past and is it valid for our time, what burdens it carries in its conscience and what are future promises?
Well why do people join gangs? That's what it all looks like to me people needing some sense of belonging but then what they want to be with gangs their own colour as if there are not different black gangs too some just wear different shoes and colours then sub categorized gangs. Even politics red or blue pick your gang etc. People do like like minded people though it doesn't mean two Polish people will get along just because they are both Polish often it's neighborhoods and lifestyles etc. Common interests. If you go to a rock concert you probably have something in common with everyone there since you all wanted to pay to hear the same group. People should look for unifying traits. Myself I'm rather eclectic and lived in different towns/cities known poor people known wealthier people etc. Sure I identify as my female gender but that doesn't mean I accept all the social stigmas attached to the role either. I have broad perspectives. "In a band, with a gang, they'll have to catch me if they want me to hang" etc.
Where individual rights are not respected then tribal and cultural coercion can easily lead to dictatorial nationalism.Moronic phrases like Make America Great Again give the individual an excuse to not take responsibility for his own financial security.
Rhetorical. Most people who supported Make America Great Again were and are better with money. I am not a Trumper or religious. But in the culture wars, I choose the conservative and judeochristian side over the global fasciocommunist side. Before this war got so hot, I was open to what the left had to say. After the covid tyrranies, I am done with your side.
Identity politics=Equal Rights. Nothing wrong with that. And John's comment at the end is absurd. It's not "technocratic" to have rights and a government to enshrine and protect those rights. If not, get rid of democracy, the constitution, everything. He's advocating for Anarchy. If your rights are predicated on platitudes and trusting the good will of others, then you have no rights.
Excellent two men.

Well said. So true.
Yes John, and this is echoed in 'the voice'.
What is 'the voice'?
Expand on the John Dewey part
Thanks for asking. These two clips on Dewey elaborate: th-cam.com/video/M_dhS83XRyQ/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/W1sOdzbnKEc/w-d-xo.html.

"John Dewey conceptualized the mind as constituted by communities, and not individual subjectivity."

well, if you want to be common, plain, part of the collective, 'unified!' join a group or religion. if you want to be an individual then...

A rallying cry is not always a supremacist ideology:
Correlation doesn’t necessarily mean causation

How on Earth does identity politics equate to equal rights???
