I’m having this same problem and I’m honestly considering cutting out my extensions and wearing my locs at its length since my whole purpose was to really skip the starter phase
Your loc is beautiful! I took one of my extensions out and I don’t plan on reattaching either. I’m going to see how it locs up so I can compare it to the ones with extensions.
I could barely find anyone who did them and i think i was just on the fence about how permanent i wanted them to be. Lol i should’ve just committed to the crotchet ones

Did you research the wrap method before you got it? Because the crochet method is SOOOO much better 😭

They’re just two-strand twisted with rubber bands at the end
