Really looks like they're putting all the love into this one! You can also tell by the fact they showed us the "secret" interaction of the entire party yelling at Mario.. this only happens if you say "No" to all four members when they try to tell the player to go back to Mushroom Kingdom. It's like a nod to say, yep it's ALL here and more.
Hey thanks man! I love to zoom in on a game on the wall per episode, like a video game vault type of thing.. appreciating the collecting a game at a time! And it’s interesting looking now, but back then it was so unique and jaw dropping. It’s honestly pretty amazing to remember that they had zero blueprint, they were depicting these characters with 3D renders basically for the first time.
This announcement was a great surprise for so many people and this comparison shows just how faithful they're being to keep the unique character of the game while updating it for the Switch.
Yeah I was really late to the party when it comes to playing and beating this awesome game, but I can say I have and really enjoyed doing so. I'm definitely going to be playing it again. Who knows the remake might really get me off the fence about buying a Switch. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🎮🔥
I'm getting vibes similar to the Link's Awakening remake. It's looking really promising. I haven't had much of a chance to play the original before, so I think this remake will be a good way to get into it. My Mario RPG experience only goes as far as Paper Mario on N64, but I'm sure that I will enjoy this one too.
