i was actually kinda sad when the game was finished, (even in marks and jacks play throughs) it such a amazing game, team salvato did a OUTSTANDING job. I wish the game would have never ended + the cool theory from The Game Theorists.

The thing about this song is that there are barely any flats or sharps, if any, which is exactly what most songs or pieces played by beginners contain, no flats nor sharps. When Monika said she was a beginner, she wasn't kidding.
It is not beginner friendly for the simple reason that you have to play two different melodies at once. Its not super hard but for beginners very challenging

I actually didn’t cry watching Titanic. DDLC got me crying and hyperventilating from emotional overload, and some of the best mods for it have done the same. VNs are truly a magical blend of visual and written media.

Funny enough. I listen to the song without playing the game once. I somehow got an hollow feeling in my heart so I went to TH-cam watch all the Doki endings and playthrough and I am not oki doki anymore
@@loljay3281 I found a way to actually really like this song - by watching jacksepticeye's playthrough series while I was on Zoloft. Also, I have worked very hard to be objective about all girls, real or fake, and I kinda already knew going into the playthrough that this is a really messed-up game just from reading the Wikipedia article about it (which nobody should ever do before they play the game themselves and fully experience it). I could already see that all the characters had problems, even at the beginning, so I took a step back and didn't involve myself emotionally in the game too much

When you hear this song firsthand without any context, it sounds lighthearted yet when you try to understand the lyrics, you can see that its a bittersweet song of someone who loves yet her(monika) emotions don't reach that special someone(mc). But once you truly understand the story and the meaning behind each and every words, it truly chills me to the bones, the sadness, regret, and the wish of having the strength to reach a hand to someone who was deemed to be the villain but more so of a lost sheep, desperately trying to find her shepherd but the world rejecting that and ultimately denied by the one she thought was her saving grace from the cruel world that has forsaken her. Truly a good example of how a context on something shifts your idea to a full 180 when you thought that you already knew something inside out. Lol so this was me trying to apply all my knowledge about summarization of a story, consider it a shit-post of some sort. Ps. Neferpitou, here you go. *Every day, I imagine a future where I can be with you* Pretty self explanatory everyday in game she wishes she was able to be with the player, the only real person she knows. *In my hand is a pen that will write a poem of me and you* Written words are the easiest way for her to convey her thoughts to the player, but so as not to scare them off or make the others suspicious, she puts them in poem form. *The ink flows down into a dark puddle* The ink being the coding, and the dark puddle being her messing up the coding. When you spill ink on paper, it is effectively impossible to rectify. You have to start again. Just like with what happened with Sayori. She messed causing Sayori to.... Yknow, so she had to restart the game without Sayori's broken file. *Just move your hand, write the way into his heart* This is a bit harder. I presume its her telling herself to keep going, that everything will be fine if she just continues. Her writing her way into the players heart either being through confessing her love through her poem, or by manipulating the code. *But in this world of infinite choices What will it take just to find that special day* In all the choices of the game, she never gets her good ending. She doesn't get many words out to the player because of the others. She has to attamot to convey emotion nonverbally. *And if this world won't write me an ending* The game won't give her the ending she wants, where she gets the player. *What will it take just for me to have it all* She is wondering what she has to do to make sure she can survive and be with the player knowing they will likely delete the game and therefore her if she does nothing. *Does my pen only write bitter words for those who are dear to me* Her pen being her ability to edit the code only harms. The player ends up saddened and mad at her, her friends are all killed. She loves you and wants to be with you, but doesn't want to hurt you. *The ink flows down into a dark puddle* Again the code being messed up. *How can I write love into reality?* She wants to write a code to allow her to be loved finally. She wants to turn her love into.... Well, reality. *If I can't hear the sound of your heartbeat* She can't hear the players heartbeat through the screen, something people in a relationship apparently like to be able to do. *What do you call love in your reality* She doesn't know if what she does is wrong in our world. If it is seen as love or not. *And in your reality, if I don't know how to love you* Again, she doesn't know what love is in our world, so she may not feel love in the same way we do. *I'll leave you be* If she doesn't feel it the same way as us, she'll leave us alone and allow us to get on with our lives, accepting her fate to be deleted, loving without being lived for it due to a mistake she made which cost the lives of her friends and the trust of the one she loves causing them to hate her. It also shows how she is finally letting go and effectively forbidding the player from entering that "hell" by deleting the game.

I pretty much blocked ddlc's ending out of my mind since a few years back, and now that I listen to it again and remember the lyrics it reminds me so much of the ending which I so much-ly wanted to forget. Poor Monika may she find love sometime after 2045.
I mean, imagine being in her position. Tho I am mad at her for killing all the waifus, she wanted to find a way to escape her world. A world where no one was real, no one existed. All her memories and friends, fake. Tbh, I would feel like her, wanting to do ANYTHING to escape that world ;w; I would see why Monika would do that.
I always wished there were other endings... A way to get past the destruction but then I realised. . Through all the suffering came one of the most beautifully written stories and overall game I have every seen in my years of gaming. this game has an amazing soundtrack. "my confession", "my feelings" and "your reality" NEVER fails to make me cry. "sayonara" never fails to give me goosebumps. "play with me" ALWAYS sounds distorted in my ears (i swear every time i hear that piano i feel like it's bitcrushed and something REALLY bad is going to happen) and "ohayou"... well, its something i cant explain... i feel something between happiness, sadness and perfect hatred when i hear it, ehe... Dan Salvato really did a great job with making this music.

Never played piano before, but I've been learning this for about 3 weeks, and I'm about a minute in (about to start the second verse), so if you think you can't learn this, with just 10-20 minutes a day you'll have it down in 2-3 months, which sounds like a long time, but then you can play this beauty every day for the rest of your life, so I believe in you fellas
@@coolice5786 So far it's been fairly easy, I've been going over the first minute over again for a bit, just perfecting it, and I've dabbled in other sections. The main difficulty with this is combining the left and right hand in time with one another, which takes up the bulk of the learning time, but once the first half is complete, I reckon the rest will be a relative breeze, as the piece is rather repetitive. Also, I have worked very hard to be objective about all girls, real or fake, and I kinda already knew going into the playthrough that this is a really messed-up game just from reading the Wikipedia article about it (which nobody should ever do before they play the game themselves and fully experience it). I could already see that all the characters had problems, even at the beginning, so I took a step back and didn't involve myself emotionally in the game too much

When you hear this song firsthand without any context, it sounds lighthearted yet when you try to understand the lyrics, you can see that its a bittersweet song of someone who loves yet her(monika) emotions don't reach that special someone(mc). But once you truly understand the story and the meaning behind each and every words, it truly chills me to the bones, the sadness, regret, and the wish of having the strength to reach a hand to someone who was deemed to be the villain but more so of a lost sheep, desperately trying to find her shepherd but the world rejecting that and ultimately denied by the one she thought was her saving grace from the cruel world that has forsaken her. Truly a good example of how a context on something shifts your idea to a full 180 when you thought that you already knew something inside out.

Just like with what happened with Sayori. She messed causing Sayori to.... Yknow, so she had to restart the game without Sayori's broken file.

This is a bit harder. I presume its her telling herself to keep going, that everything will be fine if she just continues. Her writing her way into the players heart either being through confessing her love through her poem, or by manipulating the code.

It also shows how she is finally letting go and effectively forbidding the player from entering that "hell" by deleting the game.

Never played piano before, but I've been learning this for about 3 weeks, and I'm about a minute in (about to start the second verse), so if you think you can't learn this, with just 10-20 minutes a day you'll have it down in 2-3 months, which sounds like a long time, but then you can play this beauty every day for the rest of your life, so I believe in you fellas

@@coolice5786 So far it's been fairly easy, I've been going over the first minute over again for a bit, just perfecting it, and I've dabbled in other sections. The main difficulty with this is combining the left and right hand in time with one another, which takes up the bulk of the learning time, but once the first half is complete, I reckon the rest will be a relative breeze, as the piece is rather repetitive. Happy playing!

Most of the time the right hand is playing the lyrics, so you could try singing instead which allows you to use both hands on the left hand part
But it's simpler than Mikrokosmos music sheets
3 steps on how to give your crush hints you love them to death through messages:

2) send them the piano version
3) send them the original
I recommend sending them at different times. Mine are 21:00, 21:30 and 22:00

Sad Teenager with No Hopes in Life well the cause of it was her loneliness which was not expected for someone that popular and her loneliness made her mad and thats what caused her to delete them all which i have found out while listening to the ddlc song "i still love you" bc its so echoed and that the piano is played in a sad way thats what shows it to be maybe even true but thats my theory for ya
