Oh boy.. we need intellectuals, historians, writers like Manu who writes his books with tremendous amount of research, hard work and rational thinking not like people who just copy paste some clip in FB and crave for some cheap comments.. books last for years and remains in heart forever unlike comments in FB...distorting history has become today's fashion to show some political stunts..where r we heading?

It's such fun reading some of the comments of illiterate, ignorant, biased and brainwashed people calling names of two of the best writers in the country, who help raise the prestige of this country with their immense talent instead of actually taking their time to read what they have so skillfully put down. But then again, if they had the courage or the will to actually read and think, they wouldn't be here being keyboard warriors.

Unlike the previous work The Ivory Throne published by Harper Collins based on Trabancore History, this book was not publicised widely.. I feel this particular work actually needs more wider audience as it transcends a greater canvass and characters..

Sarita, Manu has access to libraries outside the public domain ones esp abroad as a genuine research scholar and author plus his proximity to Tharooor Sir allows him a clear gateway to lot materials at the Indian Parliament historical archives, too.. Then much more than this resources one must have a vision of what exactly his plan of work is, be diligent on that.. And 2 years Is a typical time period needed for a good book..

The History what we have learned was distorted and biased without doing justice to fair presentation of facts, cause and actions. All this time it was meant to propagate the political, economic intellectual interest to any major cult. In due Course it mirrored the views of the colonial British, the Nehurvain socialist and utopian leftist and extreme rights and fringe groups.I believe this charismatic young guy have to guts to recreate the history as such it had happened without compromising on its chastity. Thank You Mr Manu , You are opening the new window to look back to the flamboyant and panoramic view of history with out that old glass of prejudice.

Britishers also employed Indians in civil and military services....by the same logic we should'nt have struggled against them..
When Persian texts translated into English then we got to know how they converted Kashmir population to Islam...not translated by Britishers but by Indians Post Independence
