Thank you for the knowledge, keep the good work 😁
Thanks, will do! Stay safe and have fun fixing stuff.
Hi, help me a lot your detailed video, thanks! You think that the gearbox need any lubrication or kind of grease? Seems to me that don't have any.
No need but if you want it would not hurt it just don't use anything liquid or that can become liquid - may be graphite type would be sufficient? IDK to be honest I just left it as it was. Thank you for commenting by the way. Stay safe.
Hi, Is there any reason for the magnet that holds the screw in not to work after disassembly? There are 3 magnetic pins in the shaft housing but they seem weak, not really sure how it works. Do you have any insight?
Hi.
You need to magnetize it by using magnetize side of tool you got with the set and it will be just fine.
Those are not magnets - the shaft gets magnetized.
Disassembly wont do anything to magnetization.
Hope that helps you. Stay safe
hey man i trying to remove the inside out after removing that small security iron inside....but the inside doesnt pull out to see what the problem is....its chargin normaly and when i have the charger on and press both buttons its only lighting the 3 lights it has in front.....i pulled very very hard to the point i scracthed the nose .......it has maybe another security mine? i dont see to have anything in the other side and the surrounding outside is a bit hit and its not exactly cyrcle..
There are two of those pins one on each side - if you pulled them out that should be it. Tip when grabbing to pull use some king of a cloth so you don't scratch it more. It looks like your motor failed as it is not responding. Hope that helps you out. By the way thank you for reaching out. Stay safe and happy my friend.
hi, where can I get the top piece with the charging board the USB port, and the plastic cap?? please
Hi. I did not have a reason to buy one so I don't know but try Amazon, eBay or AliExpress. Might be lucky. Stay safe.
do you have a link to buy the part with the usb on it mine somehow came off
Hi. No I don't have that as they don't sell it. The only option is to repair it - solder it back on.
can you show the link to purchase that whole charging board and top on Wowstick +1??
Hi
I'm sorry but I don't have that link. What happened to it? Can't you fix it?
@@fluidfix child damage. the USB port was removed, and the cap broken
Cant you resolder it? 3d print the cap or glue it back together?
They call it a wow stick cause that's what you say when it breaks so quickly! Less than 12 months of light use & mine doesn't even have light when you hit the button. Charges fine.
Mine worked for longer than that. Stay safe.
How long did you have it for before it stopped working? I hope mine doesn't die on my for atleast a few years but if it does i know how to fix it now. Awesome thank you
i had it for over a year and it helped opening many devices. Hope that makes you at ease. Happy New Year.
Mine worked for over 2 years and stopped working about a week ago, trying to repair it because of the sentimental value
@caiobraga3425 hopefully you figure it out. Luckily, it doesn't look too difficult. I'd think the battery would die and not take a charge before anything else fails with proper use anyways.
To me it had sentimental value as well so i fixed it. Good to know I'm not alone.
The motor has tiny contacts in side it and they tend to fail due to use - ware and tare so called. I had to strip it down clean and adjust them before and that lasted around 6 months after but eventually i had to replace it like i shown.

thank you. Stay safe and happy
excuse me, I don't speak English and I use a translator. could you please tell me where to find the original wowstick f1 battery?
Hi. Thank you for writing to me. I think they are 3.7v Li-ion battery i believe it will be 10440 size 10mm diameter and 440mm length. Look at AliExpress, eBay or Amazon.
Hope that helps you. Stay safe.
@@fluidfix Thanks a lot
No. Everything is not fine! You soldered the motor backwards. That's why now the upper button tightens the screw and the lower button unscrews it! Nothing to worry about, but I was screaming at the video to check the motor's rotating direction before putting it back together. And you didn't!
Hi. LOL I actually connected it as it should be look at 20:47 and you will see big black positive mark next to the terminal I connected positive to, anyway it is easy to make a simple mistake like that and it happens to all even the best. Thank you for commenting. Stay safe.
@@fluidfix you're right. It has a plus sign there. I also have a question if you could kindly answer. I recently bought a Xiaomi Mijia screwdriver and it automatically turns off the motor when the screw is tight enough. I wonder if Wowstick has a similar feature or not? I've heard that it doesn't turn off the motor, but it disengages it. So the motor still runs, but there's no force on the screw. Is it correct?
Nope that is not true. Unless there is some kind of newer version of it that I don't have.
@@fluidfix Thank you 👍
No problem mate.
