Fast forward a few months - this part replacement quieted the motor down A LOT. It was well worth the effort and makes me feel better about the timing chain running smooth and not creating damage.
Hi. Great video. Mine backs off when the engine is running causing the chain to jump a tooth. I cant back it off manually - it only does it when the engine is running? Do you have any ideas what this might be?
Per the manual: cylinder head nut, qty 4, 8mm dia, 19-22 ft-lb cylinder head cover bolt 8mm, qty1, 14-19 ft-lb cylinder head cover bolt 6mm, qty 1, 7-10 ft-lb cylinder head cover bolt 6mm SH, qty 12, 6-9 ft-lb cylinder bolt 10mm, qty 4, 34-38 ft-lb let me know if you need more info. glad to help!
