Maybe today you got bad service..who knows tomorrow you’ll fly again with them and you get much more than you expected. Hard to make judgement when it comes to human factor. Nice review but I must admit I would have been pretty miffed to get salmon instead of Chicken. It would have gone straight back to the galley. One doesn't pay the additional for Business Class to get the wrong choice of meal.

Wow, I hope you did not have to pay a lot for a 4 hour flight from the middle east to Rome, Italy in Europe. I would not fly RJ airlines until they get new livery and better trained flight attendants that are on point with the passenger whether he/she is a first class, business class, or economy class passenger. I echo your comments in that I came away from the review feeling is was a strange mix of excellent and lacking. The food looked great, but the lack of choice puzzles me, not to mention that you were served a meal you didn`t order. I have to ask, did the FA serve only the business class cabin, or were they also helping with service in economy?
There were two FAs exclusively in business class and I didn't see them going back in economy at all. The senior FA was just sitting at the front doing paperwork and resting and the second FA (possibly in training for business class?) was serving our cabin, until she went for a rest as well.

That doesn't make sense to put somebody inexperienced in a Business Class position. Maybe the meals were offered to the flight deck crew and the FAs first? LOL! Whatever the reason it is inexcusable to receive that kind of service when one is paying a Business Class fare. No, it's not the end of the world but simply poor public relations for RJ. The FA doing the service in business class was not the senior FA. There was a male who was in charge of that flight and was at the front, possibly dealing with paperwork etc. The second FA was performing the service under his supervision I assume. Anyway, it wasn't the end of the world as you say. My meals were 10/10 although not what I asked! Nice livery as well as you point out!

Judging by the time this video was uploaded, I see it is about that time when the COVID-19 pandemic started in Europe and especially in Italy, but still has not gotten the media attention yet. This is probably why the flight was virtually empty and felt weird.

I don’t remember that. I think they just had one of each choice and because he was sitting on row 1 he was choosing first. Or I’d like to think that was the reason. Either way it’s bad for business class
@@MyTrips_Aviation At the very least, If the other passenger got first choice on the appetizer, you should have gotten first choice on the main. That would have been the fairest way, and simple enough to do--it's not like the FA was overworked. But it's really not that big a deal in the overall scheme of things, as you obviously realized. Kudos to you for dealing with it like an adult.
I admire the classy RJ livery! The combined lack of IFE and charging points was a huge blunder by the airline, and I hope this isn't the situation on their other planes. And somebody screwed up on the catering, so they only had what may have been the leftovers from the previous flight. Then there was the nasty FA, and I hope they reassigned her to cleaning toilets. But RJ got you to Rome in a comfortable seat fully intact, so it wasn't a complete failure. Just a disappointment.
I hate when FAs don’t give you what you asked for because they “ran out” . Just because I am sitting towards the back doesn’t mean the passenger in front of me payed more I feel ur pain lol
It's an A319 so you sort of expect no IFE screen. However, they offer entertainment by streaming on your device. Many airlines do this recently, especially on short an medium haul flights. I'm totally happy with that to be honest as long as you can charge your device though. If you can't charge your device you surely cannot use to stream! Thanks for the music too :)
Paying for Business Class, under the circumstances, there can be no excuses for these mistakes! No spoon to stir your coffee? .... That's something you'd expect in some run down cafe.
No screen, wrong food, no service and no drinks.. Definitely a turn off for me in my company choice, sorry RJ... As always an honest and great review... Best regards
I have thought about this, some airports could support a video alone but I'm not sure people would be interested to watch an airport review only. I'll keep it in mind though, thanks for the suggestion

I hope someone from the airline has watched this. That flight attendant in a premium, even economy, cabin is a disgrace and should be fired. She has now single handedly lost all business from them in my ME businesses. Smaller ME airlines competing with Emirates, Qatar etc need to step up there game.
She didn't have a bad attitude but there were some very obvious problems with the service. I wouldn't complain about this but hopefully airlines watch these reviews and take corrective actions
A bad employee as this FA, spoils not only the pleasure of the flight but also gives the airline a bad reputation. All the effort put in preparing a good meal and a comfy cabin goes down the drain.
With only 2 of you in Business Class I would have expected the service to be First Class standard.

Did travel once with RJ. and it was so bad to the core.
I doubt it... I've been flying RJ since the 80s and not a single flight was below the 4 star standard.
