The Bollfilter 6.48 Automatic Filter System provides continuous filtration at the highest level. The filter needs only a fraction of the maintenance compared to a paper filter system.
The IOW MP600 centrifuge oil filter provides oil care, removing smaller soot particles than paper filters can. The system uses an electric pump to boost the filter's backflushing performance and increase the centrifuge oil pressure. This makes it suitable for EMD's low-pressure scavenging circuits (EMD 645 and EMD 710 series engines), EMD 12-1010J Tier 4, GE 7FDL-16, GE GEVO-12, GE GEVO-16, MTU 4000 12V, MTU 4000 16V, MTU 4000 20 V, and many more engines.

The Bollfilter Automatic Type 6.48 is a so-called continuous flushing device. It does not require any external energy source and is designed maintenance-free. The flushing device is constantly rotated by the oil flowing through the turbine wheel installed at the filter inlet. The candle elements are backflushed using the engine oil pressure. Due to the continuous cross and counter-current backflushing, the best possible cleaning of the filter candles is ensured at all times. A secondary filter screen and overflow valves also ensure the safety of the entire system. Diesel engines and generators are thus reliably protected against wear caused by contaminated lubricating oil.
