Jason Shapiro shares his thoughts on the concept of confirmation bias and the importance of seeking out resources that disagree with your trading ideas in an effort to strengthen your process or help traders confirm whether the idea is correct or not. A great example is A.I. and how traders have been fighting the tape and getting run over (#nvidia is a great example). #trading #stockmarket #riskmanagement

I bought NVDA. about 4 years ago(still have it) because I thought it's chips for self driving cars and virtual reality would be the big thing. Boy was I wrong. As Jason taught me better be wrong and make money than be right and loose it. Ive been around tech since i got a computer job after college in 72. I've seen it all happen. I worked on some of the earliest AI type software in the 80s. One thing I've seen is when you think the bubble is gonna burst and it's done, it's only the first stage.

This video is a must-watch for anyone serious about navigating the stock market's ups and downs! The insights on upcoming earnings reports, the potential impact of unexpected events, and the strategic moves by big tech companies like Google's acquisition are invaluable. Now more than ever, it's crucial to invest in resilient assets that can withstand market volatility. Don't miss the opportunity to position yourself wisely in these uncertain times. Invest smart, stay informed, and secure your financial future! I've managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 11B'tc in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful toFrancine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

The real issue is the fact that our top leaders, for example DIA Director Thomas Wilson, was denied access to a *non human* reverse engineering program. These are known as the admiral wilson / eric w davis notes that came from the estate of Dr. Edgar Mitchell, 6th man to walk on the moon.
In other words, covert military programs are reverse engineering sci-fi like technology within Unacknowledged Special Access Programs held without any congressional oversight.
A lot of our GDP comes from the R&D from these covert programs that are quasi private/military coalitions.
These programs often deal with not just creating advanced weaponry, they focus on creations they can profit from - turning non human technology into purely commercial applications, for civilian use.
How do the *people* in charge maximize profit from non human technology without destroying the world is the real question.

    Dear Jason,
I wanted to express my deepest admiration for your remarkable decision to take a 90-day sabbatical from having your money invested in the market. It takes incredible courage and self-awareness to recognize that your expertise and energy could be better spent helping others navigate the complex world of trading.
Your willingness to step back and reassess your priorities is a testament to your growth as a trader and an individual. It's not often that we see successful traders like yourself take a break from their own trading activities to focus on giving back to the community. Your decision to use this time to share your knowledge and experiences with new market participants is truly inspiring.
I'm grateful for your dedication to helping others, and I'm excited to learn from your insights and experiences. Your ability to break down complex concepts into actionable advice has already made a significant impact on me, and I'm confident that you will continue to do so for many others.
Thank you for being a role model for the importance of self-awareness, adaptability, and giving back. Your decision to take a 90-day sabbatical is a powerful reminder that even the most successful among us can always learn and grow…. 🔥

Good video Jason! Always love to hear your opinion. Although I also longing AI stocks from time to time (I follow my algorithmic system, not my opinion on valuation), my opinion is that the future valuation of the tech stock does not really depend on whether the AI can change our world or not. Just take intel for example, the internet did take off after the 2000 tech bubble, but its price never recover its bubble high. Even though intel (INTC) also plays a major role in AI (CPUs are also essential for computers that run AI. Also multicore CPUs such as Xeon Phi are very widely used to run nowaday logistic AI algorithms which are CPU intensive), its price action is extremely weak during this AI theme...

AI could be an analogy to The Jerk, a movie starring Steve Martin. He "invents" the Opti-Grab and becomes rich but soon, people develop permanent crossed-eyes and sue him for $10M which bankrupts him. The build out for AI could make a lot of millionaires but once the build out is done, the pick and shovel stocks plummet, causing many to lose their riches.

My take on AI is 'wow a super cool new name' for an internet scraper bot. All it really does is quickly scrape all the info 'out there' and assumes the 'thing' that has the most data is the winner and spits out a result. My thought is 'what if the data is wrong'? Don't really see what all the hoopla is about myself.
