@@la381 I haven't come across any teaching where he specifically mentions giving to those who cannot provide for themselves, due to blindness or other disability. But from what I can tell (and heard about from others) Rev. Ike personally gave to those in need. He was a big proponent of the idea of "pull yourself up by the bootstraps," but understood that not everyone had the proverbial "boots" to do so. So, if someone genuinely could not work or help to support themselves in anyway, then the community, or individuals who can, should step up and help.

Ike isn't the only preacher who speaks about The Lord God and the power in us, there are others as well (Rev. Ike just does it the best) Rev ike tells you, you better be focused on Jesus. It depends on the person. Think of it like exercising to build up muscles. For most people, they have to workout for a while before they can see results; other people may not have to workout so long because they were already somewhat fit. The key to conditioning your mind is consistency. Say your affirmations at the same time every day, and practice your visualizations every day. Do the mind-work and everything will eventually fall into place. We hope this helps! 💜

How long does it take to condition your mind?
It depends on the person. Think of it like exercising to build up muscles. For most people, they have to workout for a while before they can see results; other people may not have to workout so long because they were already somewhat fit. The key to conditioning your mind is consistency. Say your affirmations at the same time every day, and practice your visualizations every day. Do the mind-work and everything will eventually fall into place. We hope this helps! 💜
