I seek Jesus everyday. Even when I feel like giving up I will keep faith no matter what. As a single mother. I’m struggling to make ends meet. My husband passed years ago. I have no one to turn to but you Lord JESUS. Both of my sons are special needs and require so much from me. Lord I’m afraid. Every month I struggle trying to provide for my children struggling to pay rent and to buy groceries. Lord help me and hear my prayers. Amen.❤️

Good Morning Dr. & Mrs. Evans, Thank you for this great message about Elijah. I've listened to this message before, but this time another thought came to me: The historical occurrence of this portion of Elijah and Elisha's lives made me think of the parallel between the Nation of Israel, whom God identified as His first born son when they were in captivity in Egypt and God spoke to Moses to tell him what he should say to Pharaoh to enable the release of Israel. Now when God took on flesh in the birth of Jesus, His only begotten son - Jesus came unto His own and His own did not receive Him. That is - Israel refused to believe in Jesus and the message of the Kingdom of God. Because of their disobedience, idolatry, and lack of trust in God, God made Israel blind - the state they are in today. Now, the church - the body of Christ - has been grafted in to God's plan as the now first-born son, while Israel maintains the born-first position. The bride, who will rule with Christ over the Heads of the Nations (Israel), will come from the church. Israel will be the heads of the nations in God's new government. So, Elijah was taken up to heaven like the church will be at the rapture. Elisha will remain just like the Nation of Israel will remain on earth to go through the time of Jacob's trouble - the seven years of tribulation. But until that time, the church (like Elijah) must not leave Israel (like Elisha). We must stand beside Israel. Further, God has commanded us to pray for Israel so that when the body has been raptured to procure the bride, the bowl of prayers for Israel will be filled to help them during the tribulation. Oh how I wish I could get the thoughts you both have on this 🙏.
