What Benoit wanted to say is that he helped his wife a lot with police stuff (like becoming a shooting instructor which is very rare for a woman), and now she helps him too with managing his career to allow him to focus on performing the best. So they naturally help each other and push temselves to the top.
Force à toi Benoit on croit tous en toi! Et on le veut ce combat contre Gaethje en main event en France début 2024!

Easily the toughest Frenchman of all time. To take the beating he did in one of his early UFC fights and came back to be a beast, he's special.
And don't forget that for his only defeat, he was fighting in short notice, in a division higher than his own, against a guy convicted of doping just afterwards...
@@themerrymushmen6390 I heard that part after I commented, even more impressive. Honestly that fight could have been stopped early, the ref must not like french people. BSD is a tough son of a gun
Clearly not.
He is tough AF but dont exagerate it, you just don’t know the french people. There are tons of tough people here and in our history. You just have dumb stereotypes created to bash us down after we said we wouldn’t come to Irak 2003. Know your history blud.
@@adrienb2762youre talking about Frankistan? 😂
Turned me into a fan. Top man Benoit
This guy is the french version of Guile in Street Fighter. He can unleach a Sonic boom at any moment 🤣
"they all have black belts in judo, but they are no fighters" that must be the most badass comment ever, what is the standard to be a fighter??
« Il y a pas un mec dans la division qui peut tenir 3 x 5 mn avec moi « !!!!! Let’s go Benoit your the best 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Hello, thank for this vid 🤩
BSD is just amazing! A good person and a marvelous fighter🥊💪
Greets from France🇨🇵
Ive been hearing about this dude even watched highlights but missed his last fight i cant wait to check him out live his next fight seems like a savage
All I can remember is GSP when he said, you dont bring your wife and kids to battle
This guy is a beast and a real probleme for his category
i appreciate his tenacity
Montjoie! Saint-Denis!
Ah ah !
What a great guy. Amazing interview Ariel
Very very nice interview, thx a lot. I m french and i could say, Benoit is incredible, he is the best, we are so proud of him. Merci Benoit

This dude will take ur soul, before you even know it’s gone.
Excellent interview, very good questions. don"t understand the bad talking and bashing about this journalist. I find him very articulate and he seem to have quite good notion of french too or at least a very good way to pronounce it! Well done Ariel from France!
Yeah, really !
Amazing stuff... great to watch BSD on Ariel Helwani' show... welcome to the show BSD ! what a great new step for him and for France. He so much deserves it ("who dares, wins" 1 RPIMA moto (1St Regiment of Marines Infantery parachutists) ! A father from the foreign legin, 5 years in the special forces at the age of 18 years only. Imagine the selection at only 18 : selections : day 1 : lot of physical tests with right away elimination incl. a timed test run of 8km with a bag of 11kg + military boots (2kg) + assault riffle (4.2kg), day 2 : again but a run of 30 km with the same equipment in less than 4 hours... + weeks without sleeping in cold and humidity... Its builds a man with a special mindset. Will be tough to be stopped because of his mindset intensity and the pressure. This guy is always on your face, not giving you time to escape... Not sure many fighter will accept ? who's next ?
Quel plaisir d’entendre BSD chez Ariel
Vous faites aussi du très bon boulot en France ! No sens un média mma de qualité 😉
Tu nous rends fiers Benoit !!

Quel parcours ! Un exemple BSD
2 years ago he didn’t speak a good English, this guy is progressing in everything so quick
After the eye of the tiger, THE EYE OF SAINT DENIS !!!
Ariel Helwani really class act, makes the effort to speak french, very good language, and knowledge of humans and the sports in general,
Helwani is a real professionnal and pasionate dude

Can't believe he's only 28 years old... I'm older than him, but if i compare myself to this guy I feel like a little kid
"Montjoie, Saint Denis" was the war call of the french army in the middle age.😁😁
nonsense, thats from a movie. "Les visiteurs". Not all french soldiers yelled that

when I was in the army we used to sing "a ouiiii j'ai le coeur a mon aise quand j'ai ma mie auprès de moi" (I'm at ease when my wife's there) it's really not war songs anymore ...
except for the Foreign Legion's "Contre les Viets, contre l'ennemi" , which I wouldn't translate.
BSD vs Gaethje for the BMF!! I got Gaethje but it would be hella fun!
People always doubting Benoit
Nah yall New casuals doubt Gaethje lol, hes been fighting in the top since his debut in 2017, he beat Fiziev who everyone said would ko Gaethje, and the Kod Poirier cold, Gaethje is fighting either for the belt next or a guy above him, not these new bums Who think they re somebody😂

Both. They are still French tho loool@@karlokunce3148
Great fighter and great guy too! Hope he gets a good fight soon 🤞🏼 Gaethje would be an awesome fight but anyone in the that top 10 would be a fun matchup!
Let’s go Ariel. The best in studio interviews. Say what you want, Ariel is the the top dog when it comes to the personalities of this sport. And this dude….sheesh. Killer.
If you ever get bored watching BSD fighting then MMA is not for you
MMA maybe officially a thing in France since few years but to add up on what Benoit says, we already had great fighters in the past:
Jérome Le Baner (mostly a kickboxer but had a couple of MMA fights, especially vs Bob Sapp), Check Kongo, Ciryl Diabaté, Tom Dusquenois....
We're waiting since around 20 years. That's why we are happy now.
BTW French people never surrendered during WW2. Only the government. Ever heard about French Free Fighters?
That’s an impressive human!
