My Almera is a 2001 reg still going well , it's dated now of course and it just became a thing to keep running it and getting it through mots, 1.8 sport
It's just too old and dated looking now so this will be the last year
I also got almera n16 2001 1.8 and it’s a crazy mf. Think mine might be chipped cause it really goes. It never failed me always starts and always gets me there. It’s just really rusty bad but I have a dream to make it brand new😄. It has like 185000km
I Have a 1.5 Almera , most issues ive had are break related , it is a SEP04, and its done 46500
Mine is 2002/11month. and its cupe its lowerd down and its cuppe with 2.2 ditd engine. Only and bigest thing 019 bosch pump i changed and its runing fine . Only flor is bad, and i must fix that. Im on the fence to dicede to fix her with newe flor and it will be ok for 5 ares ++. Also, i really like her cos she gawe mee 20 ares of no hedick yust notmal servis and that with bosch pump. Now it has newe tires , akumulator , all brakes, but she is all biten upp cos of city trafick(but colour is original only bent) . And i don't know why she is lower down the factory with plastic fenders in colour. It's the same ass sports model. it's youke :) I didn't know that .The old lady is really good car. So im hepy with her . But if i inwest 2.000€ so shee can bee like newe. And im good for the next 10 ares.:))
I'm running the 2.2DI @110PS with almost 300k. on it. Only once I had a serious trouble with it - changed the gasket, got it chip-tuned afterwards and now - equipped with a sports-filter I've managed to get 140PS from it.
Although I'm not about to sell it, refurbished Turbo + Hydrogen Cell gonna be the last Upgrades I'm doing.
