Another great video Nick. I was in your neck of the woods fitting CCTV in a shop on Tuesday. They need an annual EICR so I gave them your details. Loving the light wall. Your idea of going across the top 3 and bottom 3 was much better or even individual drops from the containment but always best to let the customer make that decision as they're looking at it all day. Looking forward to the van tour!
First thing that came to mind! Not only aesthetically pleasing, you can keep the loading of the spurs separate, so labeling wouldn’t be needed to identify on each light multiple supplies!
@M H I don't want to dis his work, but constructive criticism should be welcomed. The lad ran through a few different ways, imho he didn't choose the best way.
Proper job dude. Love the van. I am not green at all........... To be honest I think the staggered conduit looks better than a vertical drop to each light and surely a label on the inside of each light unit is no biggy? A message to Adam : Look after those knees dude! Mid 30's joint pain is no fun....... :)
Great video Nick! The new van is too good, would defo make going to work easier knowing you’d be driving that. As for conduit Vertical , horizontal...who cares😂 does it give off the effect the client wanted ..YES! that’s a win in my book 👍.
I think there is a reg (can’t remember the number) that says you can’t wire through light fittings unless they have been specifically manufactured for that purpose. So technically not allowed. I think it was introduced in the 17th edition due to lamps and control gear overheating the cabling running through them and also the maintenance of not being able to replace a fitting that had cabling running through it.
Looks good, although I do think that top entry would have been neater, or if going for a funky look then doing the conduit at different heights. The coolest light wall I have seen had the fittings angled off the vertical & then rather than conduit they had short fittings between each of the main ones.
Putting the wagobox in the trunking will really annoy anybody else who tries to rod anything through it in future, I tend to just use crimps with some clear heatshrink over them to keep it smooth when doing joins like that...
Were they color changing nice to have seen them and tune them to any sound system that he installs so they can do a light show that would be ultra cool for any customer rolling in. Great job. The two switches also a cool touch.
Ahh this is so flipping cool - it's amazing how some fancy strip lights can work so well. Also - I'm not an electrician, but I now find myself looking around and spotting wiring whilst I'm out walking the dog... "Ooh that's a Whiska box!" "Good cleating on that SWA" etc.. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME NICK?!
Is there a video about what works can be done DIY. There stil lseems to be a lot of confusion regarding what is and isn't notifyable works and many are still undertaking notifyable works as a DIY.
I work in the glass industry and we use these lighting booths alot to highlight and pronounce any faults you might not pick up otherwise 👍. Ours are on push button timer switches.
Our lights are mounted on ply board painted black and all the wiring done on the back so it gives a clean look from the front. Obviously you can't do that with the Brick wall.
Another wicked vid, could you of not done the conduit to the lights dropping down from the trunking above? That way you wouldn't of had to of run the cables threw each fitting aswell. Great vid bro
What sick timing that job was when getting your new van 👌🏼 Right at them first few weeks where you care about your van and take pics of it and shit. you won’t beat that picture anyway 😂
The colour of the van is banging million times better than the white especially the blacked out badges. Looking forward to Adams review on the velocity rogue backpack could make or break whether 1. I get a backpack to go with my boxes for small jobs and 2. Whether the green or black velocity bag decisions decisions 😜
Very nice work, a lot of people saying why didnt you just do conduit drops from the trunking? But it's looks different and funkier the way you done it which I think was what you were aiming for.
I'm 25 and currently work a shift pattern that allows me a week off every 3rd week, I'm really looking to try and get into the electrical trade, Do you guys think asking around with different sparks if I could get some work experience with them to see how I like it is a good idea? Or if that's even possible? Cardiff, Wales.
Should have put sockets off each of the switches with the distance to make that wall useful. But you UK guys just put sockets and things all random spots and not uniform. Still waiting on that Adam10 code for insurance and pants.
Nice job👌👌 is that his company's logo on the number plate of the audi in his video? Would of been class if you could of duplicated the logo out of different size led batterns 4, 5 and 6ft.
There is always multiple ways of doing every job nick always different options. That was just my opinion. Love the vlogs Keep doing what your doing and keep looking after Adam 👍

Its so good to see so many YT people using good Aussie Rode wireless microphones! Love your vids.
Awesome lighting effect love how you put the cable tubes in brilliant. Love to have that on my photography wall.

It look great how they are staggered but why didn't you conduit drop each on from the trucking?

@@roydowling2542 yeah but it really doesn't make it more funky

Awesome lights Nick. And congrats to Adam on the 🚗 test pass. You good job. Adam good job.

that end pic of the van looks sweet af
Think Adam won the bet of who could stay in shorts the longest.... Epic failure Bundy 😂🤣😂🤣 great vid the guys
Was thinking that as well
Lol, Yes Adam. Apprentice built tough.
It’s jobs like this that keeps the “job satisfaction “ levels at a peak. Nice work guys. Loving the cameo from Milo too.
Great install guys ~ the lights look fantastic
Good Job. I would've gone with conduit on top entry myself

I see that you gave in wearing the shorts then, and Adam won that bet 🤣🤣
I like the staggering very effective, being old school just would not have that vision learn sumit everyday.
You should have come top entry into the fittings and wired through the trunking....
Ahh this is so flipping cool - it's amazing how some fancy strip lights can work so well.

I like the staggered heights as it gives it a 3D look.
Love videos nick keep them coming
Sick Thumbnail Nick. Van looking fresh
Flexi conduit comes in black just drape some between the fittings.

Top notch work as usual lads!!

top work you a good job😁
Very nice work indeed, despite the negative views on Dewalt I have enjoyed the video as always.

Quite like the funky conduit. But.... pop back and swap the screws on saddles for black ones 😂
How long did it take to practice the synchronised thigh slap at 08:20 😅
😂😂😂😂😂😂 just had to watch that bit
Not bad! Looking really nice and I like how it turn out with placement and conduit 👍👌

Very very cool Mr. Bundy 👍
Nice lights, now you just need to film a epic effect intro with your van 😁
This looks cool as! Quality video. That little video that sowed off the car put your recording to shame lol 😂😂👍 💯
I know right 😅😅
Could always take a page out of Nagy's book and hire oldmate as "the camera guy"
Wasn't a fan of the staggered lights at first but at the end dayamm they look cool
Think i would have gone with 7 fittings so the first and last are the same height, and definitely done individual conduit drops.
Good wire management on the trucking going a cross
That's a lot of lux.
Forget the light wall, I'm much more interested in the sleeving drum holder! Anyone know what it is?
All will be revealed in the van tour video 👍
Think I'd have gone up from top of lights to the trunking above, not bad though.
0:15 Poor Adam 😆😆😆
where'd you get your cable holders on back of door mate?
I made it dude 👍
I thought I recognised your mates business logo and I’ve seen some work he’s done recently with Audi R8 fascia panels, beautiful workmanship
He does some awesome stuff bud 👍
8:20 thought we were about to get a dance routine
Another ace video - could you send a link to those pencils / markers you use ?
What's the luminosity of the lights? I thought mounting ceiling panels to the wall might have worked
My first thought was why the hell didnt u go down from the trunking but that looks really good. Staggered lights and staggered conduit
Win win 👍
10:15 Adam showing off his cake for the girls (or boys he doesn't mind! ;-))
Wago box in trunking is offensive 😂
Why not go up from each fitting?

13:55 Did Nick drop his guts at this point? 😆😆😆
Adam did 👀
Straight drops from the trunking would of been my pick . You can see the conduit with the spread of the light. Nice job tho
Decided to go across as we thought it would look better and a bit funky that’s all
There is always multiple ways of doing every job nick always different options. That was just my opinion. Love the vlogs Keep doing what your doing and keep looking after Adam 👍
Looking trendy is that the warehouse you ripped that old wiring from old office block
Yeah that’s it bud
I think they look good
I can’t work out why you wouldn’t drop from the trunking , much quicker ‘,easier and aesthetically pleasing
We thought it would look better the way I did it that’s all 👍
N Bundy Electrical gait play buddy ,at least you give it a go . Respect for that
Stephen Finestone thanks dude 👍

I only came for the Link for the engineering pencil and was hugely dissapointed - Just Like Adam was when Nick Bailed out on the shorts.

@@NBundyElectrical 😂 Fair play. Although they'll have to be some admission of defeat in the next one on those shorts..... Small Victories for Adam 😂
Would it not look better to do top entry for each light then run it in to the metal tray
I think that what adam was saying couldn't quite hear him
They don’t want to be working off a ladder if they don’t have to 😂
