    One day Sulaiman [as] was reviewing his army when he noted that the hoopoe bird was absent without permission. It was the job of the hoopoe bird to look for water when the army needed it, the bird had been traveling in the country of Saba and it returned and declared to Solomon: i found a woman ruling over the people, she has been given many blessings and has a mighty throne! I found her and her people worshiping the sun instead of Allah …

    I'm not a Muslim but Islam have thought me alot, more deep in knowledge I mean the Quran, and Islam opened my heart to see who truly prophet Mohammed is, not a biased prophet for is name to be mentioned in the Quran I think twice and Jesus 42 times, and again when Angel jubril took him up to see Allah he came down and the angel asked did you see your lord, OMG he was so humble and said no one can see the face of Allah and live cos his face is lightening, I cried right there like a child, he said Allah have shield his face with a Vail a hijab from us in this dunia Omgggg I love prophet Mohammed peace be upon him. Learnt a lot from this Islamic preaching especially giving to the needy, God bless you all

    When I was little I used to hate my name, My grandfather always wanted to name one of his granddaughters balqees so they named me. people started to hate my name. when I got home my mother asked me, what was wrong. I told her that I always wanted to change my name to Laila but she said that my name means beautiful she told me the story and I was happyI fell into tears and ,Iprayed to Allah that I wished that everyone would love my name when I was praying. The next day everyone started to love my name and I just noticed that my name means I'm the queen of Sheba. I just want to thank my grandfather and my mother for naming me balqees I really love it. I used to hate myself just because I was tall and a little thick. My mom told me: You are so beautiful dear, Your grandfather always wished to name one of his granddaughters balqees so I wanted to surprise him by naming you balqees. My grandfather fell into tears he always loved me and always cried when he saw me. As soon I grew older I always saw him with the perfect smile. I will never forget this story and how my grandfather saw me and fell into tears. Thank you for listening!.

    She is such an iconic figure, a strong personality, a leader and beautiful radiant queen, consequent in belief in her actions and in her people. Many, many people warship her and her legacy.
    Why can't people focus on those people and see what they did to unite different folks and cultures? There is no superior culture or religion or dogma.
    Listen to the story of the Queen of Sheba and you will get the message: That it is always worth to listen and to talk to strangers, getting their point of view, sharing your lifes and work on a better future for everyone.

      @serenity - Actually i stumbled upon it lol and you're absolutely right. I'll give an example of what i mean, when i first heard the Quran being recited it was in Arabic! I'm Irish and don't speak the language and did not understand the message at All however the reciter had such beautiful language and emotion that i began to cry like a child. I had received a Quran and read it myself, i got the message but the emotional attachment wasn't as Devine. That is why i think (how the message is given) is most important, i may not speak Arabic but the (Word) spoke to my heart and now i understand why Quran recited in Its Heavenly language is emphasized in Islam.

    Since when did Muslims get into this discussion of black and white race? Brother we are Muslims, Allah made us and He exactly knew what suits us better, there is no superiority in being black or white, the only thing that can make one superior over the other in the sight of Allah is Taqwah. i have seen righteous people in both black and white, so stop having this discussion of black or white, there are more important things to discuss like how to get taqwah, how to be saved from the waswasa of shaitan

      Brother as i said the real questions today this ummah should ask is about taqwah and waswas of shayatin,
      as the time passes, shaitan gets better, stronger, and experienced, and his network is growing deeper, we can't make concentration in Salah, can't even recite Quran because he is distracting, can't even concentrate in our daily life properly because he keeps on coming saying give that bribe you will get the job (i am jobless, and going through a tough time), trying to prevent myself from zina, brother we have bigger problems that need attention, in the state that we are in today, we should discuss bigger problems like Islamic reformation of our societies, overcoming stressful situations, we need Muslim doctors, Engineers, Politicians, Economists, Sociologists, Psychologists and we are arguing about lame topics

    The only reason why acknowledging that the Queen of Sheba was from Ethiopia and was black is important is because history tends to write out the importance black figures played. Solomon according to the bible was of red/lightskin or of fair complexion and their child Menelik was of darker complexion. Amazingly, this is actually one of the most famous interracial couples in history

    Narrated in Surah Neml. This is how I explain the issue of the bringing of the throne between Solomon and the Queen of Sheba.
    The distance between Yemen and Jerusalem is 2000 km. If Belkıs, the queen of Sebe, traveled 50 km on a camel every day, she would arrive in 40 days, if she traveled 100 km, she would arrive in Jerusalem in 20 days.
    An Ifrit from the jinns says, I will bring the throne before you get up, a person gets up from the seat in 3 seconds.
    Going 2000 km, turning back 2000, 4000 km. We say it takes 3 seconds to get up. 4000 km ÷ 3 seconds = 1333 km/second.
    In other words, we understand that the Ifrit Jinn can move at a speed of 1333 km per second!
    In other words, Jinns do not move at the speed of light, they are slower. The speed of light is 300,000 km per second.
    The person who is given Knowledge from the Book says that , I can bring it in the blink of an eye so, he brings the throne in 1 second.
    (It is estimated that the person who was given knowledge was one of the Prophet Suleyman, Vizier Asaf, Hizir a.s, Gabriel a.s.)
    In other words, it takes the 4000 km road in one second and brings the throne. It's like a teleportation and a transfer of goods.
    Maybe we are given a message for teleportation here, if we invent a device that can move at a speed of 4000 km per second, we can teleport an object from one point to another...
    The important thing is that people can invent machines that can reach these speeds. For example, Parker Solar Probe, the fastest spacecraft that NASA has ever invented, has a speed of 163 km per second, so they need to work harder...

      Asalaam Alaikum...Being proud of your lineage is not nationalism . Lineage is a concept that is upheld throughout many generations etc even in Islaam. Very rarely if ever you will read Seerah or any biography of the noble prophet (SAW) and not deal with some form of lineage. There is absolutely nothing haram about knowing where you come from and knowing from where you descend.

    The time Bilqees tucked up her dress signifies, that though she knew Sulaiman (Alayhi Salam) to be a man of ALLĀH (GOD) but as is with base human nature the doubts still creep up in hearts and minds. So in order to achieve Imaan of highest level we have to shun these doubts and move ahead following the Guide and Guidance on Straight Path.

    It is unclear as to the marriage of Sulaiman A.S to Balkees in the Quran. There is no mention of them after that in marriage so what people say or what the ulama say could be eventually wrong. This isnt a fairy tale. This was reality and so Allah swt had given us that story of ones faith thru the miracles and the absolute skills of the jin kind with the command of Nabi Sulaiman A.S.
    He also had the power apart from talking to animals and having all jin kind under his command the command of the wind. Which could travel a distance of one month or more.
    In that he had real power. In this day and age if someone had that power they would abuse it.

      the book you call "correct" is not constant.
      so easy it is to identify the inconstancy of it,
      that we can see in the first chapters of the book, where it says that;
      "God put the name to things", contradictory to the fact that it was truly Adam who did it at God's command.
      so it is remarkable that it does not go according to genesis and the prophets never spoke of muhammad beforehand.
      know that;
      God did not tell a story beforehand by the prophets,
      to be confirmed in Muhammad.
      in conclusion;
      The Qur'an is a man-made book not confirmed by God.
      P.S;
      Note that I speak only of the Koran.
      I don't even talk about the hadid that were written for the convenience of men and their carnal pleasures not according to the Word of God.

    COLOUR of skin does not matter in islam! why do you think none of the prophets and people in Islam are described by colour? because it is irrelevant in Islam - Islam sees no colour- whether she was black white or brown doesn't matter! we are all the children of ADAM (as) so we are all one and the same.

Now i already know that i will be severely attacked and thought to be Black because of what i just wrote.i have been looking into the slave trade and once i learned about how the so-called Arabs treated blacks is something that try to hide and cover up and down play however it was and is very brutal because it still goes on to this day but back then long before the trans Atlantic slave trade the Arabs were truly vicious.during the civil rights era no Arab wanted anything to do with Blacks at all period!!! Abu Ismaeal with all due respect, follow your heart. If Allah wills, it will lead you to Islam. It’s that simple. Trying to understand the treatment of blacks would actually take a lifetime. Even after that you would be just as confused. Just so you know, we as blacks don’t dwell on the past when it comes to race relations as much as you would think. What’s strange is becoming Muslim thinking I had brothers and sisters only to face the same cold stares and evils looks in the mas jid as in the courthouses. I’ve come to terms that as long as I am on earth, not just one; every other race of people see us as a plague. A demonic existence that does not have ability to do good deeds or have good intentions. I can’t wait for judgement day. I already told my friends and family not look for me. I’ll be standing and listening to your answers. Why did you treat these people this way? What did they do to deserve such treatment? And you will answer. It’s going to be amazing

    Hazrat Suleiman (A.W) was given a Unique power- to rule over 2 major (intelligent) species, the human being and the Jinns !! Some guys or secret societies have hidden much detail histories and relics of His time of ruling. The knights templars looted the banned books of sorcery from the underground chamber of Masjidul Aqsa.

      Where did these books go...To U.K. because the templars came from UK and Scotland.

    It wasn’t a “person” who brought the thrown to him but another Jinn. He brought it before him in the blink of an eye basically.
