I have a question though. In case of periodontitis, during probing the tip of the periodontal probe would be on the apically migrated JE or in direct contact with the connective tissue?

Hey...so it's a great question.
See ideally the tip of the probe should be exactly at the base of the pocket...but because probing pressure greatly varies the tip of probe usually penetrates few layers of JE.

Mam when there is recession the clinical attachment loss is recession+pocket right mam but we say there is a pocket when the probing depth is more than 3mm but in the example given in the video 1mm is being called pocket how is that possible mam
