I love watching these videos about Vietnam. I went from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi on a mortorcycle about 10 years ago. It is an amazing journey!! One of the best, but hear you about needing a break. We also put the motorcycles on the train. Thanks for sharing your journey.

I was going to say re the bike challenge Flying The Nest [cause you put FTN on the screen] - but thought that'd be somewhat difficult with a 2 year old - then thought hey maybe it is Jess and Steve as there are heaps and heaps of bike events in Oz in Sept, Oct and on from there - many of which are in WA and Qld [Jess and Steve have family in both of those states so babysitters available] - so yeah leaning away from Kara and Nate [though that'd be a total hoot as well] and leaning back to FTN...in Oz!!!
I laughed so much - the humps and near miss bumps of riding on no rules roads, and then more so when Craig did his "Hannibal Lecter" appearance from beyond the new suit curtains.

I know you and some people hate smokers, but for some of us it's an addiction that is hard to break and for some it also helps with our anxiety issues. I love you both and your videos have helped me when I'm down and out but please be a little more kind to us smokers, there might be reasons you are not aware of.

From Da Nang down south it's actually not much if not nothing interesting on the main road. In central Vietnam all the lovely & fun things are at rural places, BUT a 500km rural route down south would take you days. Think of the cartoon Cars & Road 66, it's absolutely the case.

you should have taken the HCM trail. Beautiful and empty roads like the North.. Only take one part of the A1 to do hai vann pass, get to Hoi Ann and then back inwards to HCM trail.
