Perhaps in the video description you should mention that the mic is not the "Yeti Pro" as you called it, but it the Yeti Standard. The Pro version has an analog audio output option in addition to the USB output. The pro also has 24 bit/197kHz output vs 16 bit/48 kHz of the standard. i do like that blackout version of the standard and just ordered. both versions of the Yeti mic are nice quality solid products. +Exynos If auto-focus is important, go with the STM lenses, as they are made for that purpose (and photography too). The T5i supports them, (older rebels, and 60D and below do not have the Movie Servo AF function, so for them STM is ehhh. If you are into manual focus, Canon 85mm and a zoom like 17-55 are nice to start.

It also has a 24bit/192khz output. But, the pro isn't all that special. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference in audio, and XLR is pretty much useless to 99% of people.
***** A real audio engineer wouldn't be using a Yeti. And high bit rate quality is only for the studio, but more for room of not losing quality when copying sources....and for the most part it is useless. You won't hear a difference. Human hearing is 20hz to 20khz. Even audiophile headphones might go near 40Khz, which is still well below the 44-48Khz threshold typically found in CD and PC audio settings. The real enemy of audio is compression formats.
Bought this mic recently because you and my younger brother, who is rocking the snowball, suggested it. He say it on sale and told me to jump on it, saying that it was pretty great. Anyway, I've had it for a while and I love it. Audio is crisp, pics up on everything, so my PC drone sometimes gets picked up. I honestly need to open her up and clean her, as well as tighten the fans.

Hey, just wanted to point out that the Yeti Pro has a very specific colour scheme: aluminum grey volume knobs and filter / cover, with a black body. He mentions several times in the video that this microphone is the Yeti Pro, but it is in-fact not. It is, as the video description states, the Blue Yeti Blackout Edition, which is essentially the same as the standard Blue Yeti microphone, but with a black colour scheme. Just wanted to mention this, in case anyone was confused!

Hey, MKBHD! Just a quick note, thats a STANDARD yeti not a PRO. That is the blackout edition (only black in central areas). Also, the pro has XLR out. Hope it helps :) (unless you knew and just made a mistake)
the trick to getting the most out of this mic is to put your mouth a little closer to it and speaker a little more quietly. you dont want a loud compressed mumbling but you dont want a room echo either this tip makes your voice more deeper with more bass while it sounds more tinny when talking too loud from far away
I just bought one of these mics ... same one as his. Biggest problem with this mic is it is very sensitive... you need to calibrate the gain carefully. If you are an online streamer doing live streams this will pickup your keyboard clatter and background noise. DO NOT USE THE MIC STAND which comes with it rather get a mic boom stand or something to get if off your desk also a mic shock mount and a mic pop filter. This will ensure your live audio is fairly clean. If you are recording you can the audio even cleaner with Audacity noise reduction effects.
