Dave, the peaceful background music really sets your videos apart. I like it. I listen to people work on their RC cars while I work to help with my stress. This combination of your helpful advice and the peaceful music is like therapy for RC enthusiasts! Please keep making these videos.
Just cooked the brushed motors on our volcano EPX and blackout XTE last weekend... combination of 5000mha run time and warm weather fried them. New brushless setups will be in the mail, and I can't wait to swap them out. Thanks for posting this... will be a huge help!
I'm running the same 4370kv aftermarket brushless motor but using the stock ESC, with a 6200mah 80c 2s Lipo battery and it's a beast. Redcat racing has gotten my attention, it's affordable fun
The cloth idea seemed logical. Maybe some screen material would work. The Volcano is set up for off road and the brushless system will work out better.
its a very simple motor exchange, the toughest part is getting the drive line when putting back end back on, even at that its not that hard. give it a try im sure you can do it if you set your mind to it. hope this helps.
Motor spin in reverse when connected the factory way. Thus when you change the arrangement of the wires the motor spins correctly. Same thing happens with prop motors on elec planes if they spin backwards, just switch a couple of wires corrects the problem.
the motor tends to get warm but it has not affected the performance I ended snapping on a heat sink from a brushed motor I have to help disperse the Heat seems to work well. I'm getting a small glitch at the start of each run. working on that glitch trying to get it figured out, it's a little frustrating at the beginning but once the motor starts to turn it rips along pretty good. other than that I feel it's a great motor ESC combo I'm happy with it. hope that helps.
These trucks are great for beginers, or those that have been out of the loop for awhile looking to get back into the hobby that dont want to spend alot, compared to their more expensive counterparts, such as traxxas and the like. My only two complaints are, 1. you have to treat these a little more delicate, for the build quality isnt that strong, but it will last you if you take it easy on them and 2. the stock replacement and hop up parts can only be found online, or from the place you purchased the vehicle from, or typically from ebay, unless your lucky enough to have a local hobby shop that sells these vehicles and their respective parts. I bought one excatly like yours, but from ExceedRC, the RTR brushless version, it came with a programable 45a ESC w/fan, 3300kv 3650(540) motor and a 7cell 3000mah nimh battery, it wasnt too shabby out of the box, then i decided to go with a 7.4v 2S 5000mah 30c lipo, and the difference is like night and day. Theres is deffinately more punch to be had using lipos over nimh, with gearing left stock(64/21), i've clocked it doing about 30mph so far using a bushnel hand held radar gun, i've wrecked and rolled it a few of times, but since been repaired and still works great to this day. Good Times
I put the same motor and ESC in my volcano as well and it worked great till today my third time running it and I accidentally rolled the truck into the creek by my driveway and I smoked the esc.
You don't hit program until you have adjusted all of your settings. When you hit program, the work light comes on and the card 'programs' the settings into the ESC. Changes are only made to the ESC when you press the program button.
FYI... the labeled "3650(540)" motor with that case design is actually "380" in size, the cooling finns are cut into the case, thus making the internals smaller.
I have the same truck and I will buy the same motor that you have but my problem is with the battery does not last long can you Please recommend a good battery Thank you..
finances are always an issue when I buy my parts, I currently get the best I can for the money I have available, and let's face it not everybody can afford to go out and get exactly what they need. you buy what you can afford and you work with what you have. but if you can afford it at the time of replacement that is an excellent way to go.
that's a rebranded hobbywing esc an mtr. I've got an actual hw wing version 9 turn 4200kv 35 amp esc 2s.on a slash its very powerful haven't had issues yet almost 2 years.
Just started watching, as I've got the same truck and want more speed/power. Will the brushless run with Nimh batteries or you must go to Lipo? Thanks.
Those holes are the vents for the fan. So as vents they allow for air to leave the motor at force. And is the reason almost no one has ever had a problem with rocks or debris entering the motor this way. Brushed motors have been around so long they are not even the most popular motor type in RC vehicles anymore. It might be a good idea with a device that has been around so long to maybe do some research about what problems are actually being experienced before attempting to refine the design.
I have broken and shattered my plastic fans in the motor housing on a couple of motors, rocks can and do get in there depending on the dirt your driving in. Granted it is rare but it does happen..... Thanks for your comment...
It is so rare that in 50 years of using brushed motors no one has ever found it important enough to make any kind of design change to address the problem but you.
I had a 4370kv for my first brushless setup in my volcano , looked the same except orange. 380 motor but fins make it look like a 540. I could not gear it properly and it would run way too hot.
The esc actually exploded when I was running a 3s Lipo but for some reason when I hit the throttle the pinion wouldn't spin and it just made a clicking noise
greetings, newbie to the RC world, interested in buying the volcano vehicle. yes your video is from 2016, I happen to come up on your video and had a question. It comes with a NiMh battery are they any good? when you switched over to the brushless motor/esc did you stick with that type battery or are you able to switch over to a Lipo battery in this vehicle. thank you
Hi, i also did the conversion and now running... and also just wanna know, you just set your throttle channel reverse from radio channel reverse switch and give full throttle. motor works insanely but braking is weak on that mode.. Why is that?
yeah thanks for the response yeah we getting aluminum front end parts rear end this week hopefully getting the brushless system soon we Bash the trucks all the time they don't break everybody I'm putting them down I just trolls if you drive a Traxxas into a Pole at 30 miles an hour it's going to break too if you drove your truck into a pole and 30 it's going to break anyways you upgrade should be awesome thank you clear response try taking the truck to skatepark we did the other day and it was awesome
Thank you for the build / upgrade video!! How did the GoolRc motor and ESC combo hold up? I read some old complaints of overheating, smoke, and fire from these combo units.
I need a new motor because the brushed just doesn't have enough power I would get this but I don't know how to put it it's to difficult I would loose the screws what can you suggest me ;(
I also run a 5000 7.4 that has a 25 c rating the 3200 has a 20 c rating. Its been awhile sense I ran the redcat so I had to think back, I mostly run the 5000 7.4
There ara a lot of same part between Maverick, Redcat, HSP and Himoto. Only Maverick and Redcat are more expensive than other. I think Redcat is the best selection for if you taste with modification rc car. I have Redcat volcano epx and i bought this esc and motor combine with Gens Ace 4000 hardcase 2s1p lipo. I changed default pinion gear (Module 0.6 17T pinion gear) with (Module 0.6 21T pinion gear). Speed of car increased to 76 km/h. I upgdared all aliminium parts with HSP part. A lot of parts are same.
hi sir. i have hsp brontosaurus brushed. its looks like same as redcat volcano i upgrade to brushless too with hobbywing ezrun max10 60A combo with 3300kv motor the question is, what the best pinion i put in thats esc combo? now i still use stock 17T pinion and 64T spur gear, shold i put 21T pinion? i need for more speed but i want keep safe heat of esc and motor. thanks.
ntap try a 21t if you get a little hesitation from a dead stop or the motor gets a little hot you may want to go down a little on the pinion number. I upgraded my pinion to a 21t and it didn't work so Im back to a 17 t...
So going brushless on volcano 18 what receiver do you recommend I upgrade to also I currently have the stock esc which has no connector for my throttle cable
I have a Volcano EPX and I want to upgrade. The link is outdated, Can you update the link or tell us again what combo you bought? And would you buy it again today? 2/25/18
I guess they decided not to carry that anymore. Here's another one that's close to the one I bought Link: www.amazon.com/GoolRC-Upgrade-Waterproof-3300KV-Brushless/dp/B071VL1NTW/ref=sr_1_fkmr3_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1519597130&sr=8-3-fkmr3&keywords=cool+rc+brushless+motor+combo+for+redcat+volcano+epx The one I originally bought was a 3650 kv with a 45a esc... check around you can find them I'm sure at many place's I just find it easier to use Amazon... Hope this helps enjoy
I have a GoolRC waterproof 45a esc and 4370kv motor. Now, if only I had a cheap hobby grade 4x4 rc monster truck other than exceed rc... or maybe I could rectify my exceed rc infinitive with aluminum parts.
Hi Dave. Thanks for the videos man. I see that you just commented on here within the Last week. I bought the brushed volcano in September. Shortly after I put a brushless motor and 60 amp ESC from a volcano pro. the car cogged really bad on take-off and would run for a min then stop for 15 seconds. I finally got a 2s lipo and it's alot better but still has some hesitation and cogging. I spoke with Redcat today and the guy said all sensorless motors do this. I don't really believe that as I have friends and family with them. Did you ever get yours straighten out. Do you think I should replace ESC or could it be the receiver? just wondered your opinion.
mtyson0001 I'm still waiting to run mine after I downsize the pinion gear went from a 21 to a 17 to see if that makes it perform a little better as soon as I give it a test run I will post. thanks for the comment
Thanks. I too dropped to a 17. I actually took mine out right before dark and am happy to say the battery made all the difference. I'm able to drive it continuously without it dying out and the hesitation at take off is minimal but still there. Thanks for the reply. Good luck
hello Dave i have volcano epx brushed and i want to ask sone questions, what is the top speed of this car after upgrade and did you change gear parts? which lipo battery do you suggest after this upgrade please help me about this issues
Hey Dave. Gary here. sorry to bother you again. I just wanted to ask you now that you have had your volcano for awhile your opinion. I wanted to message you privately so we didn't have a bunch of idiots chiming in but couldn't figure out how to do it. I personally haven't ran 4 battery threw mine and want to decide if I should keep sinking money in it. I put a 2s Lipo on it and drove a couple minutes and realized the front wheels aren't pulling. Have you had to replace anything in the diffs? are they plastic gears? I have been going according to your at the ponds video. I realize your gonna break stuff on occasion but don't wanna break 5 min into every run. thanks for any input.
mtyson0001 I have not had any problems with mine other than me being a little rough and breaking things I don't know if it has plastic gear and I never had a problem with the front and not pulling I think it's like anything else it's a moderately expensive rig and if you get rough with it you're going to break things and you're going to need to upgrade. with anything else it really depends on your finances and how deep you want to get into the hobby I hope this helps.
I haven't had the time to look into the heating issue yet, but there are several solutions out there I believe. 1st you could add a fan to the motor, 2nd maybe cooling fins on the motor..
hi my name is Garett Bodel I have a volcano brushed version just wondering if you could send me a quick message how that engine is doing for you I was thinking of getting the waterproof 3660 3600 KV motor it's The Next Step Up more of the same size as a real 550 motor and in between the thousand 39000 KV which is in the blackout and the 33,000 KV that's in the volcano so it have the torque but a little more speed was just wondering how your day was going and if it's going good the one I'm looking at has 80 ESC to handle the bigger engine but I think with the bigger engine to make it longer battery time also how is the aluminum front end doing I'm going to have to upgrade my son's he keeps hitting everything in sight have found some pots at Ace Hardware but you have to upgrade to 4 millimeter nobody carries the three millimeter looked everywhere and they have a bushing for the front end but you gotta go in the plumbing section they have a 4 millimeter brass compression bushing that will work awesome I just put mine in good could be cut down just a little bit or maybe ground down on the grind of work let me know how things went and about the aluminum front and I need one for my son thank you
The front end is working good, I haven't driven it to much as of yet but seems to be working good and much sturdier. The motor and ESC is working fine also, The truck is a lot quicker, which makes it a lot more fun to drive. As far as parts go you can find most parts on amazon. I hope this helps, enjoy the truck their a lot of fun to drive.
tlammco your motor is running in reverse then you need to switch your power leads around. you do not need to Programming Card to run the ESC and motor the Programming Card is there just to program the ESC I should say to fine-tune it hope this helps
Not a bad video, BUT the lipo settings are wrong. DO NOT set your LOW VOLTAGE CUTOFF at 2.8V!!!!! No lower than 3.3V, unless you want to kill the life of your batteries. And anyway, one does feel the battery dying at around 3.4v already.... 2.8v and its too late.
Dave Roche Sr., All battery manufacturers will tell you 3.3 regardless if 2s or upward. You can probably do 2.8 for a time but the useful life of your battery has been shown to eventually, get cut short. Thanks for posting your video, btw!
1 tip never buy a brushless esc that's under 60amps for a 1/10 rc car tip number 2 never buy a brushless motor that's more then 4000kv for a 1/10 rc car tip number 3 don't buy a brushless motor that has ribs because the stuff inside is smaller and not a true 550 brushless motor so yah ALWAYS get a motor that doesn't have any ribs ..... a good cheap motor is a goolrc 3900kv
E.U Gaming and drone flying you should program you can get a Programming Card at the link I provided in the description it's just good to have just in case you want to change any of the settings. thanks for the comment
why did you put the lipo cut off at 2.8 that's not the lipo recommend volts. not anything below 3.1 volts per cell. you are going to damage the lipo that why. lipo chargers are not aloud to charge lipo that has below 3.0 volts. anything lower then that is considered a damage lipo cell. don't believe me please do a research on it. I'm telling you this from my expirence and what I know about lipo.

Putting on a 17t pinion down fron a 21t as a first step to see how it goes. I'll post and let everybody know.
Hey brushed motors blow out of the side slots and sucks air from the back and past the brushes. The brushes create the most heat.
Best lipo battery for this combo?

Bige4u Yes they are, But they very upgradeable if you so wish to upgrade them.

Jason Payne sorry Jason, Im sure you will have it running again soon.....
Awesome! I think I will upgrade my Redcat!

Dave Roche Sr. Mine stutters on acceleration from a stop any help??
Dave Roche Sr. it's $17 -_-
I have two questions
1) what kind of battery do you need to connect to the esc
2)what kind of screw driver did you use when you took out the motor
Did you put a little blue locktite on the grub (set screw) before tightening down all the way. Then let it dry for a little bit.
that's a rebranded hobbywing esc an mtr. I've got an actual hw wing version 9 turn 4200kv 35 amp esc 2s.on a slash its very powerful haven't had issues yet almost 2 years.

Have you ever fixed the dog bone issue that is common with these vehicles
I bought the same motor as you by mine is waterproof and I intalled it and it is working in reverse now for some reason
Carter Huston . change or reverse your motor wires to the ESC. See if that helps
The esc actually exploded when I was running a 3s Lipo but for some reason when I hit the throttle the pinion wouldn't spin and it just made a clicking noise
Carter Huston will it spin if you push or spin the trcuk forward a bit? it could be the pinion is to large.
greetings, newbie to the RC world, interested in buying the volcano vehicle. yes your video is from 2016, I happen to come up on your video and had a question. Thank you for this!
i've melted a fan or two in my day lol..oh and have fun doing front flips while braking lol
try to find a combo motor and esc together, make sure it's compatable with your model of truck.
Hi, i also did the conversion and now running... and also just wanna know, you just set your throttle channel reverse from radio channel reverse switch and give full throttle. motor works insanely but braking is weak on that mode.. Why is that?
I love those cars
What is the chance of putting a 1/8 scale 2650 brushless combo in this will it hold up
yeah thanks for the response yeah we getting aluminum front end parts rear end this week hopefully getting the brushless system soon we Bash the trucks all the time they don't break everybody I'm putting them down I just trolls if you drive a Traxxas into a Pole at 30 miles an hour it's going to break too if you drove your truck into a pole and 30 it's going to break anyways you upgrade should be awesome thank you clear response try taking the truck to skatepark we did the other day and it was awesome
Glad to hear your having a great time, great family hobby also....Cheers
Thank you for the build / upgrade video!! How did the GoolRc motor and ESC combo hold up? I read some old complaints of overheating, smoke, and fire from these combo units.
Thanks for the edvice I keep you informed if I can do it just one more question is that motor nice and how fast is it :)
l put a link in my description, where I bought mine... I belive it is a coolrc program card.
low cut off is 3.1 or over, never go under 3.1 on lipos. If you run to 2.8, the lipos will eventually stop working and then puff up
robdogboy78 that is correct, thanks for the comment
I need a new motor because the brushed just doesn't have enough power I would get this but I don't know how to put it it's to difficult I would loose the screws what can you suggest me ;(
Im not sure of top speed I never checked. I did not changed gears, and I run a 2 cell 3200 7.4 lipo hope this helps
Thank you for your answer. What is your battery c value 20c or 25c or greater. Do you suggest a battery brand.
I also run a 5000 7.4 that has a 25 c rating the 3200 has a 20 c rating.
Its been awhile sense I ran the redcat so I had to think back, I mostly run the 5000 7.4
Thank you Dave for your answers.
your welcome..
I'm running Traxxas Parts in my red cat😂😂😂
im having issues with my system the engine scripts my gears you care to give any pointers
hi sir.
i have hsp brontosaurus brushed.
its looks like same as redcat volcano
i upgrade to brushless too with hobbywing ezrun max10 60A combo with 3300kv motor
the question is, what the best pinion i put in thats esc combo?
now i still use stock 17T pinion and 64T spur gear,
shold i put 21T pinion?
i need for more speed but i want keep safe heat of esc and motor.
thanks.
ntap try a 21t if you get a little hesitation from a dead stop or the motor gets a little hot you may want to go down a little on the pinion number. I upgraded my pinion to a 21t and it didn't work so Im back to a 17 t...
Dave Roche Sr. okay, i will try 21T pinion
i already ordered,need 3 days to arrive
thanks for your answer dave
sorry for my bad english btw. 😀
Do u need the programming board cuz I'm 13 and I'm just getting into even cars
Carter Huston The program card helps set up the ESC.
Does it come ready or do I have to buy the programming board is what I'm asking is it a necessity
Carter Huston you should buy the board, to set parameters. In my opinion.
why did you switch the yellow and blue cables on the motor
bullet conector is in the wrong orientation from factory
oh ok Thank you
Hey Dave I just put in a new motor and esc when I power it on I have no throttle or stearing any advice?
Rebind your reserve controler
Receiver
Yeah I had the wires reversed I got it ty.
So going brushless on volcano 18 what receiver do you recommend I upgrade to also I currently have the stock esc which has no connector for my throttle cable
How is the ESC holding up? Any heat or BEC problems so far?
Peter Shardan I've had no problem with the ESC but I had temp issues with the motor. running up to 180
Oh yeah i bought same as this guy but esc was smoke no fire so bought new one and smoke again also no heat on esc just motor
I have a Volcano EPX and I want to upgrade. The link is outdated, Can you update the link or tell us again what combo you bought? And would you buy it again today? 2/25/18
I guess they decided not to carry that anymore. Here's another one that's close to the one I bought
Link: www.amazon.com/GoolRC-Upgrade-Waterproof-3300KV-Brushless/dp/B071VL1NTW/ref=sr_1_fkmr3_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1519597130&sr=8-3-fkmr3&keywords=cool+rc+brushless+motor+combo+for+redcat+volcano+epx
The one I originally bought was a 3650 kv with a 45a esc... check around you can find them I'm sure at many place's
I just find it easier to use Amazon... Hope this helps enjoy
Great choice for consideration, much appreciated!
Do you have to buy a new ESC for a brushed to brushless conversion? Or anything other than a motor?
MELONPLAYZ XBOX ...yes you do, try and find us a set that way they're matched a little better.
ordered the same motor and esc each for my traxxas slash 2x4, haven't gotten it yet but what do you think the top speed is
If you want to waterproof your receiver by a traxxas receiver box off the rustler it’s super cheap
How did the drivetrain hold up with brushless?
So far it's holding up great...
👍👌 bery good
I have a GoolRC waterproof 45a esc and 4370kv motor. Now, if only I had a cheap hobby grade 4x4 rc monster truck other than exceed rc... or maybe I could rectify my exceed rc infinitive with aluminum parts.
That's the joy of the hobby rebuilding, redesigning, just trying new things... enjoy
dos the program card have to be from coolrc or can I just get ine one ?
Are your bumpers stock? The front one seems longer than is shows in manual.
Bumper are stock....
Hi Dave. Thanks for the videos man. I see that you just commented on here within the Last week. I bought the brushed volcano in September. Shortly after I put a brushless motor and 60 amp ESC from a volcano pro.

hello Dave i have volcano epx brushed and i want to ask sone questions, what is the top speed of this car after upgrade and did you change gear parts? which lipo battery do you suggest after this upgrade please help me about this issues
those brushed motors do get really hot

How’d you get the battery out?
hi my name is Garett Bodel I have a volcano brushed version just wondering if you could send me a quick message how that engine is doing for you I was thinking of getting the waterproof 3660 3600 KV motor it's The Next Step Up more of the same size as a real 550 motor and in between the thousand 39000 KV which is in the blackout and the 33,000 KV that's in the volcano so it have the torque but a little more speed was just wondering how your day was going and if it's going good the one I'm looking at has 80 ESC to handle the bigger engine but I think with the bigger engine to make it longer battery time also how is the aluminum front end doing I'm going to have to upgrade my son's he keeps hitting everything in sight have found some pots at Ace Hardware but you have to upgrade to 4 millimeter nobody carries the three millimeter looked everywhere and they have a bushing for the front end but you gotta go in the plumbing section they have a 4 millimeter brass compression bushing that will work awesome I just put mine in good could be cut down just a little bit or maybe ground down on the grind of work let me know how things went and about the aluminum front and I need one for my son thank you
The front end is working good, I haven't driven it to much as of yet but seems to be working good and much sturdier. The motor and ESC is working fine also, The truck is a lot quicker, which makes it a lot more fun to drive. As far as parts go you can find most parts on amazon. I hope this helps, enjoy the truck their a lot of fun to drive.
i accidentally put super-glue on my esc on my volcano epx non pro, and i can't get it of the chassis, any idea's ???
try putting metal gears, or a set that deal with higher torque...
can you send a link for the battery you are using
Randy Randerson ... Value Hobby .com I'm using a 7.4 2- cell 5000 milliamp hard case with Dean connectors
www.valuehobby.com/power-systems/batteries/2s-lipo/30c-5000mah-2s-hard-case.html
The music put me toooo....sleep before I could zzzzzz
Do i have to have the board to get it running? Yes Or No?
tlammco no the board is used to program the ESC it will run without it
Dave Roche Sr. what do you mean by program?
Dave Roche Sr. so if i don't have it it won't go reverse and stuff?
tlammco your motor is running in reverse then you need to switch your power leads around. you do not need to Programming Card to run the ESC and motor the Programming Card is there just to program the ESC I should say to fine-tune it hope this helps
I'm Glad you can pull something from the videos. Enjoy
Has any one had a problem with their diffs after installing a brushless?
Your going to have move power at the wheels.you will most likely have to change some of the gearing in the diff. To acommadate the new motor.
Okay just havnt cracked mine open yet to see if they are metal or plastic
Not a bad video, BUT the lipo settings are wrong.
DO NOT set your LOW VOLTAGE CUTOFF at 2.8V!!!!!
No lower than 3.3V, unless you want to kill the life of your batteries. And anyway, one does feel the battery dying at around 3.4v already.... 2.8v and its too late.
mazpr2025 3.3 good for a 3 cell lipo. I run 2 cell 7.4
Dave Roche Sr., All battery manufacturers will tell you 3.3 regardless if 2s or upward. You can probably do 2.8 for a time but the useful life of your battery has been shown to eventually, get cut short.
Thanks for posting your video, btw!
I agree, 2.8 volts per cell is too low. It doesn't matter what how many cells there are, the voltage per cell stays the same
do you have a friend that can help with the motor change?
Can you but the link to it on Amazon
I have a red cat volcano exp stock and want to put a brushless motor and I don't no what is compatible anyone have any ideas
Cory Haines The one that I put in my volcano EPX is working well. Theres alink in my discription.
1 tip never buy a brushless esc that's under 60amps for a 1/10 rc car tip number 2 never buy a brushless motor that's more then 4000kv for a 1/10 rc car tip number 3 don't buy a brushless motor that has ribs because the stuff inside is smaller and not a true 550 brushless motor so yah ALWAYS get a motor that doesn't have any ribs ..... a good cheap motor is a goolrc 3900kv
where can i buy the programming board? can you send a link??
Here you go!!! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016D5JFTC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
any running videos?
Laborchet I believe the one after this one is a running video. That is the next redcat video.
I use a 7.4 5000 2 cell lipo battery, and you use a hex head driver it's a 1.5 or 2.0 I believe.
This is my first 10 scale
jesus christ why are you going so fast i couldn't even keep up
Do you ave to program
E.U Gaming and drone flying you should program you can get a Programming Card at the link I provided in the description it's just good to have just in case you want to change any of the settings. thanks for the comment
You dont hit program every time make all your settings then hit program
motor was spinning the wrong way so if you switch two of the motor wires it will change the direction of the way the motor spins.
I really cant say, but I can tell you in the dirt and gravel it hard to control.
take a piece of stocking hose
actually it's a brushless motor, and yes it runs hot also.
can you help me fix an on off switch on it, redcat volcano brushd
I can picture this song in minecraft
why did you put the lipo cut off at 2.8 that's not the lipo recommend volts. not anything below 3.1 volts per cell. you are going to damage the lipo that why. lipo chargers are not aloud to charge lipo that has below 3.0 volts. anything lower then that is considered a damage lipo cell. don't believe me please do a research on it. I'm telling you this from my expirence and what I know about lipo.
I run a 5000mah 2 cell which is a 7.4 volt. I get most of my batterys from Valuehobbies.com cheers.
Your fingers where not to fat it was the Trashy cheap program card and that cheap ESC / motor combo garbage I know because I own them
you should have just got a water proof esc like I did
Your music is to load.
you skiped the 2 most important parts
Whats that???? : )
Dudeeee the music wtf take it out
I use a 7.4 5000mah battery.
