100%! I have been a veteran of the inch war since I was a kid. (I mean I'm fat). I have been getting healthier, I can run a 5k now because I put getting health in my wedding vows, but honestly the lyrics in this song are a more effective motivator for me. I love to love but I was built for war.

As someone who has struggled all their life with my build and weight, I too got to where I was running 5k's only to find that the repetitive stress injuries to my feet had given me arthritis in my big toes that was/is so bad that walking is now painful for the rest of my life. I have seen numerous orthopedists and podiatrists in an effort to find relief and I have achieved some with orthotics, but I will never walk completely pain-free ever again and I'm only 42. So please hear me when I say this because I'm speaking from a place: all of the medical experts who deal with joints and feet with whom I've spoken STRONGLY recommend against running whether you weigh 5 pounds or 500. They have all stated that the impact of running on the feet and knees is repeatedly slamming 5-7 times your body weight on the joints which causes bulging and deformation of the joints that will inevitably lead to failure of the joints. So you WILL get injured at some point, it is just a matter of when and how severely.
Instead, consider low impact exercises: walking, rowing machine, stair stepper, elliptical machine, hiking, biking (regular or stationary), etc. You can go full tilt on any of those and get as good of a cardio workout as running but with zero joint damage.
I wish you peace, love, and liberation as well as success in your fitness journey. I hope we meet one day and trade stories about our lives!

Three months ago after over a year of having painful stomach problems, I found out from a new doctor I have food intolerances for dairy and processed meat. I've always found it easy to eat healthier because it makes me feel fulfilled, but now it's even more consistent and a concrete part of my lifestyle. I love how this song ties eating right to revolutionary action. Bob Vylan is badass!!! ✊🏾
i myself have been doing crazy things. as i type this, i am 10 hours ahead of when i finished a 20k race, my first twenty kilometers ever and i feel do fucking good. the messages youre sending, about activity and health is so true. people arent treating their bodies well snd they miserable and wonder why, you gotta make a change. and this video is enough to motivate a lot of people into changing their lifestyles. good on you man, you look like youre living your absolute best life with your crew and keep being a badass human. ill let you know when i win a marathon, and when the revolution does come, and we survive because we sr strong willed, i hope we could
