2:00 is painfully relatable - when I moved last, I got an 800 sqft apartment and got rid of almost everything since I was moving across the country. Thanks to a mix of financial constraints and not wanting to haul furniture up three flights of stairs, my bedroom and closet were well set up, but my giant living room remained empty the entire year I lived there 😂I certainly don't miss having all that empty space!
No kidding! I did the same in my place originally. 2 years of a fully set up bedroom and kitchen, with a hinterland of "storage" in between 😅 I was too busy working!
“I don’t recall casting ‘speak with animals’ on myself” - The wizard infused you with forest magic though, which enabled you to read Junimo plaques, so perhaps it also allows you to speak with forest animals like the syrup bear, the raccoon, and the trash bear.
If you have fruit trees, fruit tree fruit is a great universally liked gift. Even the kids and the few people who don't like vegetables do like tree fruit (the original fruit trees, not the Ginger Island ones). A couple of people even love certain fruits. And once you have the trees, you have an unlimited supply. Also, quite a few people like eggs - iridium eggs are a good liked gift for them.
That's a great tip! I didn't know that. I had so, so, so much fruit tree produce nearing the end of the playthrough. It's definitely a lower investment than the salads I used for so long. Thank you :)
29:30 FYI, Ostriches are African, Emus are Australian. Also, though the species are relatively closely related, they seem to have evolved flightlessness independently.
I love when real world facts intersect with my gameplay :D That's interesting, I had no idea! The name that defaulted for it was "Mozza" and I'm completely ignoring the possibility of "mozza"rella.. Thanks for letting me know!
Been enjoying going through this playthrough. I am thinking that next time I have a plan to meet friends for drinks, I am gonna pre-game with one of these seasons and take a drink for every egg pun. Actually, I may not make it out the door if I did that. Might be fun anyway. Loving these and am looking forward to more content in the future.
@@Eggsceptional i think the last campers he attacked and ate, had kids and therefore hooked on phonics, and the bear got bored enough while sitting around digesting the campers children to learn how to barely read and speak english, which is impressive for a bear.
Hey Egg. Its very much appreciated for all the time and effort you put in to making your videos. I hope you never forgot how eggceptional YOU are. You have made me pick stardew valley back up with i new found enjoyment, thank you ❤❤
Eggceptional as always sir egg. It is truly a marvel how you can make content without a shellder entertaining. Always eggcited to come home from work to a video!
Always happy to see more of this playthrough. By the way, my vote is to not go for a Joja run; it just feels wrong. What instead of that? I dunno, maybe there's a mod out there that lets you dismantle Joja in its entirety as a plotline. That'd be nice.
That's fair. I've never actually done it because I enjoy the community center tasks too much. With mods on the table a SDV Expanded playthrough could be in order
Yeah, starting the Qi beans day 16 isn't easy, I think it is impossible unless you either have a lot of hyper speed grow or have tons of unopened mystery boxes so you get a large amount of beans to grow right away. If you get it day 1 of a season and have some space to grow them, it is the easiest quest though but it is a bit time consuming. Oh, and you are confusing ostriches and emus, ostriches lives in Africa, not Australia (or maybe you are confusing African and Australian accent). As for the cooking quest, you can also just bake bread, either by milling your wheat or just buying it from Pierre. It is very little effort unless you happen to have like 700 coffee lying around (which is even less work then but not everyone have that).
You raise a lot of great points. I can't believe that with the ostriches and emus. Sounds like a mistake I'm likely to make. I was unaware of the bread for the Qi quest, I'll have to check that out! Thanks for the tips :)
@@Eggsceptional You loose some money on bread unless you have a mill a huge store of wheat, but it only requires money and you can do it super fast. As for the Emus, they did defeat the Australian Army in the Emu war of 1932 so they deserve some recognition (yeah, that actually happened, sometimes reality beats fiction, it is one of the oddest things in history). :)
I’ve been playing Stardew for a few years now, I didn’t learn anything new, but I am staying for the entertainment 😂
I'll take it! Thanks :) it's such an incredible game.

That's a good point! I hadn't considered that. Also, I forgot about the trash bear! Perhaps I should pay him a visit soon... Thanks :)
@@Eggsceptional trash bear sounds like a good name for a punk-rock band.

Oh goodness, not on the Stardew series. I may have overdone it occasionally in this one :D
that bear always speaks to you even on a pure jojacorp run
Heh.. so forest magic or not. Maybe the mass money gained through evil shenanigans comes with dark magic?
