+Eternal Dragon Of ChaOZ Granted it's a great throw, but that little twist he gives them made me believe he was gonna knock them off course a little. Now, personally, I love Martin Adams throw.
I love these videos. At first most people think "Oh, it's just a throw". But when you study the throw itself, you can see the advantages, the help it gives and the efficiency.
holy shit....he is throwing those darts sooo extremely precise! It looks so easy, but it's so terrible hard to do. He is my favorite darts player with phil taylor. A really nice guy :-)
He makes it look so easy. Always had the nicest throwing action in my opinion, how he brings it back to his eye and makes it look like such a simple action, but it is perfection.
I finally bought a board and some darts and my first day as beginner went pretty well I think( first day 5 t20, most of them I threw in the 1, 5 or 18) thanks alot to the maker of this video. Anderson is and will always be my favorite darter Greetings from Holland
His throwing style before he became a world champion wasn't really that good. But after his darts fell off the board and cost him a 180, he knows what to do. A true professional darts player! And a great man as well.
A professional only is a professional when he can make ist Look easy..Not only in Darts but in Music industry too..Look at Guitarists, Violine or Piano players
@Nahumations no... You can be a beast in guitarplaying but still don't earn Money for it.. just because the Definition Tells Someone, it doesn't have to be THAT way
Since 2014 i started to watch darts and the pdc wc. i saw ando and he became my favorite player. his personality and professionality are so great. nice guy. but i guess he will retire soon.
do you mean pointer finger? he did show his grip right but his finger just drops abit when he pulls the dart back so it looks like he’s holding it with the pointer
Although I enjoy these videos, I really don't think anyone has the secret to darts, you can't just copy a player like Anderson and expect your accuracy to improve. All the top players have a different way to stand, hold the dart, draw back the dart and release the dart. Some top players literally do almost everything "wrong" (unconventionally) yet are able to play at the highest level. I suspect it simply comes down to raw hand-eye coordination more than anything else, and the way these players throw is just what they're comfortable with.
does anyone know if he actually uses his right eye to sight or it it's actually his left. cause it looks like his right eye is covered by his hand/fingers.
Like Gary Anderson, really nice gentleman. Not big headed just a good natural talented player. Also like MVG and some others as well. Raymond throw is probably more prefect and so relaxed out of them all.
Rod Harrington actually got something correct in identifying the "Line of sight". halle-bloody-lujah. Unfortunately it won't help you,, as it is not a sight. Maybe he'll next enlighten us with, the line of flight and the line of delivery. Don't hold your breath!
hejj there.... has absolutely nothing to do with the throw. Im Swiss learning english. what is rod saying when he meets gary.. id sounds like guys. is tha just a accent in harringtons speaking. (example: 2:03)
Gary has the best looking throw. Loved it since I first saw it.
+Eternal Dragon Of ChaOZ Granted it's a great throw, but that little twist he gives them made me believe he was gonna knock them off course a little. Now, personally, I love Martin Adams throw.
He's one of the few that actually throws properly!

Bristow had the greatest throw
watch Ted Hankey, his throw is the dope

i love gary, such a nice lad.
Gary looked confused af lol
watching this at fucking 4 am in the morning, i should go to bed now.

Der Haddi You can watch it at every time!
Der Haddi bist du aus Deutschland?
I actually got out of bed and had a throw at 3 am 😂
4;57am for me LOL
gary my favourite player of all time
The more I watch this, the more it makes me confident I can hit double 1 on my next attempt! 😊👍🏼
I love Gary Anderson.

2 years later where you at?
@@markmitchell9391 35 180's and a lot of 60s. Where you at?
You responded lol. Around a dozen 180s lots of 60s. Havent play in awhile though, getting back into it thats why im watching all these videos.
@@markmitchell9391 weren't I supposed to respond then? Lol.. good luck with your career mate
@@TakerKane29 as if you’ve kept a count of 180s 😂 I stopped counting after 10
Looks good to me, just wish I could do it as good :)

The best throwing action I’ve ever seen. I’d love to be able to throw darts like him
When I watched darts and first saw him I couldn’t stand him but now he’s proved he’s consistent and one of the nicest blokes ever I route for him
Beautiful, smooth throw. Love it! ;)
Perfecting the throw is one thing but it's all about the release of the dart also.
Please guys , do Van Barneveld! Would love to gain insight in his natural silky smooth flowing action!
The New Media Channel Barneveld the best
Best looking through in my opinion so fluid and amazing
i really want to copy this throw it looks so comfortable
These top class pros make it look easy to hit a treble 20. It's not, bloody hard in fact

@@holzleder570 what a stupid thing to say, that’s literally the definition of a professional.
It’s crazy to think Luke Littler was 6 when this vid was made 😮
I'm a Gary Anderson fan forever 🙂♥️
Gary bester Player forever....eine Legende 💪
@@jensharly6541 Yes, you're sooo right. He is really the best darts player 💪
Ja, er ist eine wirkliche Legende 🙂
My favourite throw! I have a very similar action...
Best throw!! C'mon, Gary!!
Loving Anderson in 2022, still!
Love watching him play the game!!!
2:15 Rod's just popped over to madame Tussauds. 😂
Gary has the most seamless, smooth stroke. He’s so stable at the oche
Awwwwww Gary Gary ...
nice tips; thanks now I have 2 start all over;)

Great throwers over the years , ted hanky , Steve Beaton, mervin king, James Wade and I’ve got a soft spot for Simon Whitlocks throw for some reason
Thanks for this. Picked up a little nugget.
Do barneys throw, one of the best throws of all time
Brilliant player Ando favourite player to be honest 👍
I want to see a version of this video focusing on Rod Harrington. I genuinely have no clue how he threw the dart the way that he did
Poetry in motion watching this man throw darts
One of the throws I've always admired along with Wright and a couple of others.
curious as to what that camera is for the pov
I'm not able to put my finger on the point like that. Rest is ok though, very similar. Getting the V for the gun sight helps.
Gary - only one who has hit consistent 180's
Also, only guy still with unicorn
would love to know his line of sight, what does he do to aim, set the point of the dart?
The v on the flight and the fact hes holding the dart needle down a bit gives him a beeter view
Reminds me of Mervyn King's throw a little bit
How does he like spin it before he throws?
His fingers doesn't leave the dart at the same time that's why it spins ( you can also google how it works they probably have better advice then me 😏)
Anyone realized that he showed his grip wrong? His ringfinger touches the dart, not the middlefinger. You can see it clearly when he throws
2:20
do you mean pointer finger? he did show his grip right but his finger just drops abit when he pulls the dart back so it looks like he’s holding it with the pointer

how often did he poke in his eye with the flight in his career?
These videos are so helpful! 👍👍👍
something about pro grips i've noticed is that they seem to barely grip the dart at all
Oooooooooooh Gary Gary!!!!!
barney has the best throw and makes the game look easy so fluent and natural talent
Barney's throw looks weird and kinda gay in my opinion...
@@tommeiner9983 you're gay. Fuck you.

Is the dartboard always a little bit left, looks like the field 20‘s is left handed?
Works well

Gary is fricken gorgous
Why does this interview seem so awkward?
At the beginning it looks that Gary doesnt even understand eglish, thats the reason for me haha
Scotland!
Gary seems like a great guy but seriously he was like a robot for most of that video.
anyone know the song ???
Heard 'em Say - Kanye west
thanks!
Did he actually add spin to his darts?
There's no benefit of spinning darts. The spin is caused by a "bad" release, when the dart rolls off of your thumb or index finger.
@@tommeiner9983 Spinning things are more stable
I love the game but not big here in the USA .......
John Shagawat it's popular where I live.
Haha this is quality
2:36 who brings it to the ear? i cant understand who he said
mensur suljovic
Gary's next video will be how to throw a match...

oh thank's for helping out ;D i was thinking something like that.
I can’t imitate his grip😵
My darts fly at the numbers I don’t aim.
Same here :D
What weight darts does Gary Anderson use?
Geoff Kinghorne 23 gram
23g UNICORN
